Technic Colour Fix Palettes Reviewed & Swatched!

Hey beaut's!

Recently I've blown away by Technic Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes, the quality is just so good for the price and when I saw Technic had a Colour Fix range that consists of blush, contour and highlight palettes in cream and powder formula's I just had to see what they where all about!

I think highlighting is my favourite step when applying my makeup, I'm literally obsessed with the look of highlighter on my skin, I mean who doesn't like to look like a glazed donut, I know I do he he, and Technic's Highlighting Palette can achieve just that! The palette itself contains 8 highlighting shades with two different formula's, the four shades along the top of the palette are pressed powders and the four shades across the bottom are baked powder, all of which create the most stunning highlight. As you can see from the swatches the shades of the highlighters are all different making it so versatile and suitable for all skin tones, and the quality is incredible, I'm talking super pigment, super blinding, super glazed donut and super affordable, I love it!

If you love a pink toned blush then this Colour Fix Powder Blush Palette is for you, it contains eight all matte shades - six of which are different tones of pink and two of which can double up as bronzers and blushes which is a nice bonus. The formula of these powders is lovely, I was quite surprised to see such pigment from matte blushes that are so affordable but as you can see from the swatches some of the shades are quite intense and a light hand is needed during application, they do go on beautifully though and blend out nicely, for £2.99 you really cant go wrong.

Contouring isn't something I do often but when I do I always like to opt for cream formulations as their so much easier to work with than powder and this Technic palette works a treat! All eight shades are so creamy and blendable and what I love the most is that they dry down to a matte finish which means they don't feel tacky, heavy or move around on my skin through the day. Theres a good mix of shades to play around with too whether you want to highlight or contour and I find it such an easy palette to use, which is really saying something because I'm such a novice when it comes to contouring, he he!

Overall I think whether your new to makeup or a pro these palettes are great, I honestly cant knock the quality for the price and I've really been enjoying using them all, I do have to admit that the highlighting palette is my favourite but that's only because I'm such a highlighter addict he he!

Have you tried any of Technic Cosmetics Colour Fix Palettes beaut's? Which is your favourite? I'd love to know!

Technic Cosmetics Review #2 - Beauty Bargains Alert!

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen back in August I tried a few makeup bits and pieces by Technic Cosmetics after hearing such good things about them, to my surprise everything I tried was actually pretty good and most of them made their way into my everyday makeup bag pretty sharpish. After having such fab results last time it left me itching to try more, well you cant whack affordable makeup that actually does the trick can you!
I'd had my eye on the Technic Metalix Eyeshadow Creams* for such a long time, metallic eyeshadow creams and glitters seem to be huge right now but I couldn't seem to find any at high street prices until now. Technic's Metalix are just £1.99 each and they are bloody brilliant, I have the shades are Taupe Be - a golden bronze, Plum Pudding - a deep plum/purple and Champagne For Everybody - a bright gold/champagne, each one applies with a little doe foot applicator and they blend like and dream, they're super pigmented too and wont budge once their set. These are by far my favourites out of all the Technic makeup I own, their gorgeous!
I wear liquid liner pretty much every day and the thing that has impressed me the most about this Technic Chunky Liner in Black* (£1.99) is that it stays put like nothing else, I'm surprised it isn't labelled as a waterproof liner  because it literally doesn't fade, smudge or run throughout an entire day, I can even touch my eye area and it wont transfer, I'm very impressed with it and for £1.99 you cant go wrong! The Ultimate Brow Kit* (£2.50) pretty much has everything covered when it comes to brows, theres 3 brow powders, a brow wax, two mini brow brushes and the cutest mini tweezers I've ever seen. It's an amazing little kit if your travelling or going on holiday as theres everything you need to keep those brows on fleek in one tiny palette, the lid even has a decent size mirror inside it too which is always appreciated!
I'm obsessed with makeup sprays at the moment so I couldn't wait to see how Technics Primer Spray* (£1.49) held up. To be honest I didn't see much difference in the longevity of my makeup but the spray definitely helped my base makeup blend better on my skin and my foundation seemed to sit flawlessly on my skin too. The way I like to use the spray is by drenching my face in the spray first the I go straight in with my foundation whilst my face is still wet and it does something magical when the two mix. Finally can we all just appreciate how stunning the Colour Max Matte Lipstick in Kiss Catch* (99p)  is... wow this shade is right up my street and the formula is lovely, despite being matte it isn't super drying and my lips still have movement when rubbed together which gives this lippie lots of sparkly points from me!
Overall I'm loving every single thing I've been road testing, especially those gorgeous Metalix Cream Eyeshadows. All of the Technic products are cruelty free, suitable for vegans and vegetarians too which is a major bonus for me and the fact their so ruddy cheap is such a winner, my bank card now has no excuse to keep yelling at me he he.

Technic Cosmetics Review - Beauty Bargains Alert!

Hey beaut's!

I've been seeing and hearing so many good things about Technic Cosmetics recently, their low price tags have certainly caught my eye on a number of occasions (I do love a beauty bargain) and so many of their products look absolutely stunning, I actually have five of their Juicy Sticks which I love and use all the time so I couldn't wait to try some more bits from them.
Firstly I couldn't wait to dive into the Mega Nudes Eyeshadow Palette*, this little beauty contains 12 neutral shades in a mix of matte and metallic finishes that could easily take you from day too night. The formula of these shadows is super nice considering this palette can be picked up at just £1.50 yes I did just say £1.50, the pigment is good, the shades blend out really nice and it's crammed full of versatile shades!
Sticking with eyes I have been pretty much obsessed with the Mega Lash Waterproof Mascara*, if you want mega volume with no clumps that stays put like nothing else then you HAVE to try this beauty, and even though it's waterproof it's not too difficult to get off with my normal cleanser at the end of the day 'thank goodness'!
Technic also do makeup brushes which I had no idea of, I've been using their Pro Blusher Brush* (£2.95) with their Soft Focus Loose Powder* (£1.99) and basically any other powder product I put on my face. The brush reminds me a lot of my Real Techniques Blusher Brush, it has that same versatile shape that can apply bronzer, blush and powder with ease and for an affordable brush the quality is fab, it's so so soft! The Soft Focus Powder is brilliant if your into the popular 'baking' trend or if you just don't want to look like an oil slick a light dusting of this bad boy will sort that unwanted shine in one sweep without feeling heavy or cakey on the skin!
I think my favourite thing from Technic right now is their Strobe FX Cream* (£2.99) which is really saying something because I LOVE the mascara A LOT! I literally live for dewy, glowy skin and this strobe cream gives me that 'lit from within' golden glow in seconds when I use it under my foundation, you can also mix it with foundation or use it as a cream highlighter for that extra glow which - of course - I do!
Finally I've been giving the Matte Finish Juicy Stick in Prairie Girl*, now as I said before I've always been a huge fan of the Juicy Sticks because their super pigmented and super juicy and nourishing on the lips but I was completely new to the matte finish sticks. Prairie Girl has such a 90's vibe about it and despite the matte finish it's not drying at all and still has some movement on the lips!

Overall I'm loving every single thing I've been road testing, especially my beloved Strobe FX Cream, Mega Lash Mascara and Mega Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. All of the Technic products are cruelty free, suitable for vegans and vegetarians too which is a major bonus for me and the fact their so ruddy cheap is such a winner, my bank card now has no excuse to keep yelling at me he he.
