SensatioNail Raspberry Wine Starter Kit | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I'm back to share my absolute love for the 'SensatioNail Raspberry Wine Starter Kit', I honestly don't know how I've coped without this in my life before!!! SensatioNail is designed to give you a salon perfect gel polish manicure but at the fraction of the price, that will last you up to two weeks without chipping, lifting, cracking or smudging and what's best is you can do this easily in the comfort of your own home.

I'm constantly painting my nails as not only do I generally love having my nails painted but its an on going battle as my nail polish chip's very easily no matter what top coat I use, so the fact the SensatioNail Gel Polishes last for up to two weeks is brilliant and saves so much time in the long run. Also if you hate waiting for your nail polish to dry and always end up smudging it, like I do, well SensatioNail have taken care of that too as once you've cured your nail under the LED Nail Lamp your good to go.

Now onto what the Raspberry Starter Kit contains and how easy it is to create your own gel nails...

The Kit Contains...

How To Booklet
Manicure Stick
Double Sided Nail Buffer
• Lint Free Wipes
Pro 3060 LED Nail Lamp
Gel Cleanser
Gel Primer
• Gel Base & Top Coat
Raspberry Wine Gel Polish

How To

Prepare your nails by filing your desired nail shape and lightly buff the shine off your natural nail, be careful not to over buff girlie's you only need to do this slightly. Then pop a small amount of the gel cleanser onto one of the lint free wipes and clean yours nails. Then apply one layer of the Gel Primer sparingly to your nails and allow to dry for 30 seconds.

I then applied a thin layer of the Gel Base/Top Coat to my nail making sure I capped the free edge of my nail by running the polish brush along the nail tip, this is a crucial step as this locks in the gel polish meaning it will prevent any chipping or lifting. I then cured my nail under the LED Lamp for 30 seconds, don't worry you don't have to count the LED Lamp will beep once the 30 seconds is up.

Now to add abit of colour he he. I then applied a thin layer of my Raspberry Wine gel polish and again i capped the free edge of my nail, I then cured for 60 seconds this time. A second coat was then applied and again I cured my nails for another 60 seconds.

Lastly I applied another layer of the Base/Top Coat and cured my nails under the LED Lamp for 30 seconds, then all that's left to do is remove the moisture layer by popped some more Gel Cleanser on a lint free wipe and just give your nail a wipe over and then voila, you have gorgeous shiny looking nails that are gonna last you 2 weeks!!!

I must admit I was slightly nervous about using this kit to start off with as I generally thought it would be more difficult than it actually was but I found it so simple and easy to use. The first time I used the kit it did take me around 45 minutes to complete my nails as I was just getting to grips with it, on my second attempt it took me roughly 30 minutes so I think once you get used to it, it wont take much time at all.

As for the lasting power... Well it really is incredible, I kept my gel manicure on for the entire 2 weeks as I wanted to test the manicure out in full and my nails never chipped or lifted at all and they kept their beautiful shine too. I also found this kit really helped me to grow out my natural nails, as you can see from the photo above my nails are very small and short and always break as their rather brittle, but the SensatioNail Kit has made my natural nails tough and sturdy and I haven't had a single nail break or chip in 2 weeks which is absolute first!!!

Click on the picture's to make them large!!!

As the gel polishes do last up to two weeks the thought did cross my mind 'what would happen if I need to change the shade for a special occasion or evening out', well do not fear as your not limited to one shade for the duration of your gel manicure, just simply paint over the SensatioNail Gel Polish Manicure with any brand or shade of nail polish. When you do decide to revert back to your original colour, just remove the top coat and voila... the original, perfect manicure will be restored.

Overall I'm extremely impressed with the SensatioNail Starter Kit and I cant see myself using anything else but the gel kit from now on.

The Raspberry Wine Starter Kit is available on the SensatioNail website and retails for £69.99, you can also find lots of other starter kits, gel polish remover kits, refresher kits and obviously lots of gel polish shades on the website too, don't miss out girlie's get those nails all gelled up!!!

Have you used the SensatioNail Gel Polishes before??? What did you think??? I'd love to know girlie's!!!

  1. I absolutely love this shade, it looks perfect for Autumn! I'm really apprehensive about trying gel nail polishes though as I don't want them to completely wreck my nails, so I'd be interested to see what these do to yours.

  8. Wow this looks amazing. I would love to buy one but £70 is very expensive as I only spend £2 to £3 on nail polishes. I would love a nail polish that does not chip. What happens if you wear it longer than 2 weeks?

    1. Yeah it does seem like quite alot of money in one hit but it's worth it in the end!!! I had mine on just over two weeks with no chipping what so ever and that's with me doing housework, lots of washing up, at work and lots of other general day to day things. I guess after two weeks it would just carry on lasting until it chipped :))) xoxo
