Revlon Lash Potion Mascara By Grow Luscious | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently whilst in Superdrug i noticed Revlon had a new addition to their makeup stand, say hello to 'Revlon's Lash Potion Mascara' ha ha!!! I'm not gonna lie but the packaging completely sold this product for me, i didn't care how much it was or what it promised to do but it looked so pretty that there was no way i wasn't gonna buy it to try.

So here's my first impressions on the mascara itself.... Firstly the 'Revlon Lash Potion' comes in three shades Blackest Black, Black and Blackened Brown  with waterproof also being an option. I opted for Blackest Black Waterproof as i have very oily eyelids, i personally thought the mascara was going to be a pain to remove as that's always the tricky thing for me with waterproof mascara's but my 'Simple Eye Makeup Remover' gets the mascara off a treat so no grumbles there.

The brush is a triple groove bristle brush, I'm always a fan of the bristle brushes, i always feel quite safe with them ha ha. Revlon say the wide groove's on the triple groove brush  "instantly coat's lashes in formula for maximum volume". I have to say i do like the brush but i find it quite large although i do have smallish eyes, but i just find it slightly harder to get to the more smaller lashes in the inner corners of my eye . As for the formula... 'The Lash Potion' claims to have strengthening proteins inside to help condition and moisturise each lash making them less brittle, i do think its a great little addition to the mascara however i never have a problem with weak eyelashes but if you do then this could be a great mascara for you, the formula also isn't too wet or too dry its a nice happy medium and applies evenly without clumping. I found the mascara added a nice amount of volume and length but gave me a slight spidery effect sometimes at the very ends of my lashes, but my major gripe with this is the flaking, with one coat there's the odd flake here and there but nothing major to really worry about however when I've applied two coats it flakes quite bad which is annoying and lets it down slightly for me, other than that id say its a fab mascara.

I purchased my 'Revlon Lash Potion Mascara' in Superdrug for £9.99 but Revlon had a deal on at the time where you could mix and match mascara's, lip product's and nail polishes for 2 for £10 which i thought was fabulous.

Have your tried the Lash Potion yet??? What did you think???
