Soap & Glory Bright + Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask Review

Hey beaut's!

I love a good ole girl pamper night with plenty of choccies, a chick flick, nail polish and of course a face mask and recently when I needed a bit of a 'pick me up' I decided to give the Soap & Glory Bright + Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask a whirl. It's no secret that I bloody LOVE  Soap & Glory but oddly I hadn't tried any of their face masks despite them being released last year so it was definitely about time I tried try one.

The Soap & Glory Bright + Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask is actually a sheet mask which are my absolute favourite type of face mask, their so easy to use as well as being fuss and mess free, all you have to do is simply remove it from the packaging, whack it on your face until you look scary and then terrify everyone who you live with for 15-20 minutes, and then simply peel it off to remove it without any need of scrubbing or rinsing, perfect!

The Bright + Beautiful Mask is best suited for dull, lacklustre skin which is in need of a radiance boost and a bit of recovery from the night before he he. It has been enriched with Vitamin C, White Flower brightening complex, Rooibis Tea Extract as well as Gotu Kola Extract which work together to bring life back to the skin as well as an awakening boost and a refreshing, moisturising glow. I have to say after giving this mask a whirl I can confirm that it definitely gave my skin the pick me up that it needed, my skin looked glowy, refreshed and healthy afterwards as well as nourished and it felt super smooth too. Whilst the mask was on I noticed its was absolutely drenched in serum, personally I love this because once you take the mask off theres still plenty of serum left on my face to rub into my skin, so my skin really gets all the benefits, it also smells amazing just like grapefruit, it's super yummy!

Overall I really enjoyed using this mask and it done exactly what it said on the tin or should I say sachet, I definitely want to try some of the other Soap & Glory face masks now, they even have an eye mask too which I'm really intrigued by.

You can find the Soap & Glory Bright + Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask for £3.50 HERE.

Spectrum Mean Girls Makeup Brushes Reviewed

Hey beaut's!

When I heard Spectrum Brushes where launching a range of Mean Girls inspired makeup brushes I got stupidly excited and they went straight onto my wishlist, not only am I a huge fan of Spectrum's brushes in general but Mean Girls is one of my all time favourite movies so I knew I would have to have these brushes, lucky for me my boyfriend kindly bought them for me for Christmas. Sorry Regina, it looks like Fetch is happening because these brushes really are 'So Fetch'!
I have the 10 Piece Fetch Set which contains every brush you'd need to create a full face of makeup including your base, eyes, lips and brows. Each brush is so pretty and aesthetically pleasing to look at, not only are they the most gorgeous shade of ombre pink to purple but each brush has an iconic Mean Girls quote engraved onto it's side such as 'On Wednesdays We Wear Pink', 'You Go Glen CoCo' and 'You Can Walk Home Bitches' which are just a couple of my favourites!
Aside from looking good and the sheer fact that these are Mean Girls Brushes I did wonder if they would perform well quality wise, and after giving these a good whirl I can confirm the quality is amazing. All of the brushes are made from the highest quality synthetic hair and their also cruelty free and vegan too which means they can all be used with cream, powder and liquid makeup. The handles are really sturdy and robust and the bristles....well the bristles are sooooo soft and fluffy and easy to work with and they blend like a dream.

The brush set includes...
A01 - You Can Walk Home Bitches - Domed Powder Brush
A05 - You're Like Really Pretty - Precision Blush Brush
A07 - That's So Fetch - Stubby Eye Shader Brush
 A10 - Grool - Small Fan Brush
A16 - Boo You Whore - Precision Crease Brush/Lip Brush
 A17 - She's A Life Ruiner - Precision Angled Brow Brush/ Eyeliner Brush
A21 - You Cant Sit With Us - Luxe Highlight Brush
B01 - She Doesn't Even Go Here - Flat Top Buffer Brush
B06 - You Go Glen CoCo - Tall Tapered Blender Brush
C01 - On Wednesdays We Wear Pink - Large Fan Brush
The set then comes complete with a hot pink mesh makeup bag which isn't available to purchase separately, and there's even a Burn Book zip which doubles up as a removable keyring which I love and obviously made it's way straight onto my keys.

Overall I'm so impressed with this set, and to be honest I knew I would be. Not only is the theme of the brushes pretty epic but each brush is so versatile and can be used in so many ways, they all work like a dream too and they are easily the softest brushes I own! I think my favourite brushes so far are the Large Fan Brush because I've wanted one for ages and the brand new Luxe Highlighter Brush but I do love them all!

You can find the 10 Piece Fetch Set HERE for £49.99! Spectrum also have lots of Mean Girls accessories like the Burn Book which looks pretty cool I must admit, theres also acrylic brush holders, vanity bags, lashes - the lot! We can all become part of The Plastics now he he.

Makeup Revolution - I Heart Makeup - Chocolate Elixir Eyeshadow Palette

Hey beaut's!

It's been a while...You may have noticed things have been pretty quiet on my social media and my blog recently and that's because Christmas wasn't a particularly jolly or merry time for me this year. I received some really bad news just before Christmas which then led on to be a pretty traumatic time for me and my boyfriend, I may or may not go into this further on a separate blog post in the future but today I thought I'd come back and talk about one of my loves in life - makeup....chocolaty makeup he he!
Tam Beauty - home of Makeup Rev and I Heart Makeup - are on fire at the moment, theres so many cool new releases I have my eye on but one I just couldn't wait to get my hands on was their Chocolate Elixir Eyeshadow Palette. From the outside your met with a 3D rose gold chocolate bar effect palette which is oozing and melting with gorgeousness and on the inside it's crammed full of the most beautiful warm neutrals that all have a chocolaty scent, yummy!
The Chocolate Elixir Palette* contains 16 shades in total 12 of which are matte and 4 which are shimmers. At first glance not only did I notice just how beautiful the shade range was in this palette but just how similar it looked to the Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette, I've actually wanted the Anastasia Palette for so long but at £43.00 I've held off, so the fact the Chocolate Elixir Eyeshadow Palette is just £8.99 makes it so much more affordable if your looking for something similar.
The quality of the eyeshadows within the Chocolate Elixir Palette are actually very good and really consistent, I did worry because the palette is made up of so many mattes that they wouldn't perform well but their brilliant, each shade has a great amount of pigmentation, they all pick up on my brushes well and blend out with ease, their a couple of shades that have a tiny bit of fallout but that doesn't bother me, overall I'm really pleased with the quality!

Just look at those swatches - insert love heart eyes emoji - he he. Overall I'm so impressed with the Chocolate Elixir Palette and have thoroughly enjoyed playing around with all of the shades. The quality is really nice for the price and the shade range is stunning and right up my street, I also think if your looking for something similar to the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette then you need to look no further, although I don't have the ABH palette and cant clarify if its an actual dupe or not it certainly looks very much the same.

You can find the I Heart Makeup Chocolate Elixir Eyeshadow Palette for £8.99 HERE.
