Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub Review

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to body care I'm quite a lazy bum! However... when I find something I really enjoy using, that doesn't break the bank, that does exactly what I'm looking for and more its a whole different story, and now that Summer is finally here and theres chance that I may be exposing more skin than usual I like to make sure I'm all exfoliated and Summer ready and that's where Soap & Glory's AMAZING Sugar Crush Body Scrub* comes in.
I'm a HUGE fan of Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush collection and was quite shocked that I hadn't reviewed their body scrub yet on my blog because I've gone through so many tubs of it, but hey ho it's better late than never I suppose he he. The Sugar Crush Body Scrub is crammed full of smashed brown sugar, macadamia grains and sea salt which all work together to gently yet effectively exfoliate and polish the skin, theres Almond Oil in there too which really nourishes and moisturises the skin leaving it silky smooth and extra soft, so say goodbye to those dry elbows and knees, flaky patches and get super prepped skin before that fake tan application too he he. Of course this body scrub has that popular Sugar Crush scent running through it which I absolutely adore, it's sugary sweet, really zingy and super fresh which I love using in the mornings to wake me up a bit and make me feel all refreshed.
I like to use the Sugar Crush Body Scrub about 2-3 times a week just to keep my skin super polished, I like to take a small hand full of the scrub and rub it in circular motions over my body focusing on my legs and my arms mostly. Afterwards I simply rinse and then wash with shower gel as normal and this will also remove any sugar granules left behind.

You can buy the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub HERE for £8.00!

World Duty Free Top Picks

Hey beaut's!

It's that time of year again when everyone is jetting off on their summer holiday's, and what better way to kick start your holiday than with a few cheeky purchases from World Duty Free! Being the makeup and beauty lover I am I literally cant wait to check out duty free when I go away so today I thought I'd share with you all 3 of my top picks ranging from high end to drugstore!
First up is the L'Oreal Travel Exclusive Festival Fun Set* which is £23.20. Within this set you get the Mega Volume Miss Hippie Mascara, the Infallible Eyeliner in Black and the Infallible Mega Gloss in the shade All Night Long which is a pretty glitzy pink colour, the set then comes complete with a pink pouch perfect for storing makeup essentials in your handbag/travel bag. I've been giving all three products within this set a whirl and I have to say I've been obsessed, my favourite has to be the Miss Hippie Mascara, this creates the most amazing volume and thickness to my lashes whilst also looking feathery and fluttery, it lasts amazingly well too without any flaking, smudging or running. The Infallible Eyeliner is great on the waterline but can also create the most amazing smoky eye with it's smudger tool at the end of the pencil and the lip gloss is perfect for finishing off any look without being thick or sticky.
Fragrances are always a popular choice whilst shopping in duty free and I can never resist those miniature sets which brings me onto The Jimmy Choo Miniatures Collection* which is £34.00. This set features five gorgeous smelling perfumes which are all individually boxed and packaged in replicas of their full sized bottles, their soooo cute and the perfect size for travelling because they are super lightweight and wont take up much room at all within your luggage. Within the set theres two 4.5ml bottles of Jimmy Choo Illicit, two 4.5ml bottles of Jimmy Choo Eau De Parfum and one 4.5ml bottle of Jimmy Choo Eau De Toilette.
Lastly I have the Clinque Pep-Start Eye Cream* which is £18.30. This is one amazing eye cream that I'm thoroughly enjoying using, it hydrates, smooths and brightens up the eye area and works so well in the mornings as it instantly perks my eye area up because of its cooling sensation and gets rid of any puffiness too. I'd highly recommend picking this one up if your on the market for a new eye cream.

LA Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks Reviewed

Hey beaut's!

I've tried a couple of LA Girl lip products in the past and loved them so when I heard that they had launched a collection of Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks not too long ago I couldn't wait to try them out and give them a whirl!
The LA Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks* come in a whopping 26 shades so theres certainly a shade to suit everyone in this collection, but of course I had to go for three pinky tones, I
went for Snuggle - a brown/nude with strong dusky pink tones running through it, Sweet Revenge - a bright barbie pink and lastly my favourite Hush - a gorgeous, wearable mid tone dusky pink. The formula of these lipsticks is lovely and I think the name of these describes them very well because they do have a flat, matte finish, but the texture is very velvety, smooth and creamy, making them comfortable on the lips and non-drying. Trust me beaut's if you love the look of matte lips but hate that dry feeling like I do then these LA Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks will be for you, they also contain shea butter which I cant quite believe seeing as they are matte lipsticks!

The lasting power of these lipsticks is OK but not as long lasting as other matte lipsticks I own, I get a good few hours wear out of them but then I need to reapply, I also find they transfer so after eating/drinking the lipstick needs to be reapplied, I think this is down to the formula being quite creamy.
Overall I do really like these LA Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks and would highly recommend them to anyone who loves that velvety soft matte finish without the awful dryness! I think the shade range is amazing, they are super affordable, soooo pigmented and even though they might not be the longest lasting matte lippies in the world I prefer something more creamy that I can reapply anyway so that really doesn't bother me at all.

You can find all 26 shades of the LA Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks on the Beauty Chamber  website for £4.99 each HERE.
