Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently i ran out of my much loved Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy so i decided to treat myself to another one as i love them so much and i went for 'Wild Watermelon' , it's one of the spring/summer shades and i love it!!!

Wild Watermelon is the perfect summer shade, its a red/coral colour with pinky undertones that funnily enough does resemble the colour of a watermelon.

I love the fact that all the Revlon Lip Butters I've tried are well pigmented and they just glide on the lips a dream, they honestly feel like a lovely moisturising lip balm. The shade i picked up 'Wild Watermelon' goes on semi opaque but you can build up and intensify the colour if you wish, the lip butters also leave you with lovely light glossy finish to the lips too which i think is lush. As for staying power... It lasted on me around 1-2 hours which isn't exactly long lasting but when you compare it to other branded tinted lip balms id say that's quite good although i have noticed the darker the shade you get the longer it will last.

The reason i love the Lip Butters so much is because they are just so easy and simple to wear and moisturising at the same time, you don't have to worry about lip liners or glosses over the top, you just pop it on like a lip balm throw it in your bag for top ups as and when u want and your well away... simple!!!

Whats your favourite Revlon Lip Butter??? What did you think???

Nspa Melting Cleansing Gel | Review

Hey girlie's!!

Recently Nspa tweeted asking for people to take part in one of their online surveys and if you got involved and took part you could get a little treat, i was lucky enough to get a little treat and they sent me a 50ml tube of their Melting Cleansing Gel to try, Eeeeekkkk.

Id never tried anything from the Nspa range before as i dont have an Asda in my town (sad face) but i must admit after taking part in the survey and looking at their website more in depth they seem to have some really impressive looking products that wont break the bank.

The Melting Cleansing Gel is part 1 of their 4 step skincare programme, its an intriguing gel like cleanser that turns into a soft milky cleanser when it comes into contact with water. You simply massage the cleansing gel onto dry skin then wet yours hands with warm water and massage again to turn the gel into a soft milk then rinse well with warm water, i found this very simple and easy to use so no grumbles there. The texture of the gel id say is quite silky and looks shiny as your applying it to your face and it smells amazing, very fresh and zesty.

Overall after using this i would say its great for people with sensitive skin like me as this is an extremely gentle cleanser, as for removing makeup i found it took a good couple of uses before i could see that my makeup was being removed simply because its that gentle. It does however make your skin feel super soft after you use it and i never experienced any break outs at all. I'm not sure i would use this as an everyday evening cleanser and i just don't think it strong enough for me but as a morning cleanser i think it would be great.

Have you tried any of the Nspa beauty products??? What did you think???

Dainty Doll Eyeshadow Review | Treat Her Like A Lady

Hey girlie's!!!

As you might know a while ago i purchased lots of Dainty Doll makeup on the Fragrance Direct website as they where selling it all at bargain prices but recently i found some of the single eye shadows in Poundland... Yup that's right Poundland!!!!

I picked up the shade 'Treat Her Like A Lady' which is a neutral taupe/grey colour that has a slight pearl finish to it, one thing i will say is i love all the shade names in the whole Dainty Doll range they all seem to have cute quirky names which always lures me in. I love the packaging, its quite simple and sleek and feels quite sturdy too although i have noticed that the single eye shadows are suppose to have little mirrors inside the lid and mine doesn't... It will be quite interesting to see if any other Dainty Doll Poundland purchases are the same with no mirrors inside.

The quality of this eye shadow is really nice, its really soft in texture which makes applying to the eyelids super easy and quick whether your using a brush or your fingers. The pigmentation is also fab but then i find most eye shadows that have either a slight pearl finish or full pearl finish to have good pigmentation.

All in all I'm super happy with my bargain purchase and i can see myself using this eyeshadow alot as I'm all about the neutrals ha ha. Make sure you check out your local Poundland at the moment so you don't miss out on the beauty bargains.

Have you tried any of the Dainty Dolly Makeup??? What did you think???
