Lush Santa's Lip Scrub Review

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen that I recently popped into Lush and stocked up on a few Christmassy bits (haul here) and something that I couldn't wait to get my hands on was Santa's Lip Scrub. I had run out of my trusty Bubblegum Lip Scrub a while back, and with the cold winter weather approaching I knew I'd need to restock asap as my lips always need some extra TLC at this time of the year and after smelling Santa's Lip Scrub it literally went straight into my basket.

Santa's Lip Scrub (£5.50) is made up from a generous helping of caster sugar that has cute little red love hearts running through it and acts as a gentle scrub getting rid of any flaky, rough skin on and around your lips, the scrub also contains jojoba oil and extra virgin coconut oil which help soften and moisturise your lips leaving them feeling super soft. The scent of the scrub itself is divine, it smells just like cola with a slight hint of cherry which is just so scrummy and tastes amazing when I lick it off, yup that right beaut's the scrub is completely edible, even the little love hearts he he.
To use Santa's Lip Scrub all I do is simply pop as much or as little of the scrub as I want onto my finger and then gently scrub and buff away until my lips are soft and flake free and then I simply lick off the excess. The scrub works so well at moisturising and leaves you with a fantastic smooth base to apply your lip balm or lipstick on.
All in all I absolutely love this lip scrub, it looks so cute and festive, tastes and smells amazing and is super nourishing too, I've actually found it to be quite addictive, I literally want to use it all the time he he. If your after a new lip scrub and this tickles your fancy I'd hop-foot it down to Lush now beaut's because it's limited edition and only available to buy until Christmas, so stock up whilst you can, it would also make a great stocking filler too.

Have you tried Santa's Lip Scrub beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know.

Lush 'The Experimenter' Bath Bomb Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

You may remember a little while back I posted a Mini Lush Haul and within that haul was some newly formulated products from Lush's original line and some new products that have previously only been available in the Lush Oxford Street store. I excitedly picked up a few to try and one I couldn't wait to pop in my bath was The Experimenter Bath Bomb.
The Experimenter Bath Bomb (£3.95) is pretty spectacular to look at and is very eye catching, the hexagon shape has bright pink, blue, purple, white and gold colours splashed all over it so I knew it was going to look pretty amazing when I popped it into my bath water. Just as I thought as soon as The Experimenter went into my bath there was a rainbow of shimmering colours in the water, it looked so pretty and I couldn't stop watching it, however the colours quickly all merged together to create a very dark purple/grey colour which I must admit didn't look that appealing but the smell was divine, I also have to add although The Experimenter doesn't look like it contains many shimmers or glitters but in fact its does, these shimmers did stay on my skin after getting out the bath so it'd probably a good bath bomb to use before going on a night out or for any Christmas party's that you might have coming up he he.
The scent of the Experimenter is what I love the most about this bath bomb, it contains fair trade vanilla absolute and tonka absolute which give it a very creamy, strong vanilla scent but it also has a warm, woody ever so slight Christmasy scent to it to which is perfect for those Autumnal evenings. Theirs also vetivert oil within The Experimenter which is so relaxing and calming so if you've had a long, hard day it might be the bath bomb that your looking for.

Have your tried The Experimenter Bath Bomb yet beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know.

Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

You may remember a little while back I posted a Mini Lush Haul (HERE) and within that haul was some newly formulated products from Lush's original line and some new products that have previously only been available in the Lush Oxford Street store. I excitedly picked up a few to try and one I couldn't wait to pop in my bath was the Rose Jam Bubbleroon.

The Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon (£3.75) has recently been given a makeover, instead of resembling a deformed marshmallow like it used to it's now larger in size and looks like a princess-inspired macaroon with it's hot pink colouring and duo-chrome pink and purple glitter dusting on top, ohhh it's just so pretty. The Rose Jam Bubbleroon comes with two bubble bar halves that are cemented together with a creamy filling of coconut oil, the fact that it is a bubble bar means you can get quite a few baths out of it just by breaking pieces off and crumbling it into your bath water until you get your desired amount of bubbles, I actually got four baths out of mine because I used it in quarters. As for the Rose Jam scent... It smells incredible, it contains Rose oil and rose absolute which give a double dose of rosiness, theres also some lemon oil within which adds a slight kick and really helps perk you up and theres also a real jammy sweetness to it as well which I love, it honestly smells incredible. As I said before Rose Jam has coconut oil within the middle but as well as that it also contains fair trade cocoa butter too which if your a dry skin sufferer like myself your going to love, its so moisturising and leaves my skin felling so soft and nourished afterwards, its so lovely especially at this colder time of year.
Overall I did really enjoy the Rose Jam Bubbleroon, its cute to look at, smells amazing, creates lots of bubbles and  pretty pink water and nourishes my skin. Their are also two other bubbleroons within the bubbleroon collection which im now eager to try after loving Rose Jam so much!

Have your tried the new reformulated Rose Jam Bubbleroon yet beaut's?? What did you think??

Lush Pink Flamingo Reusable Bubble Bar Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

You may remember a little while back I posted a Mini Lush Haul (HERE) and within that haul was some of the new products that have previously only been available in the Lush Oxford Street store. I excitedly picked up a few to try and I thought it was about time I start sharing my thoughts on some of them starting with the lovely Pink Flamingo.
The cute Pink Flamingo (£5.95) is a reusable bubble bar that comes attached to a stick so that you can just swish it around the tub until your hearts content and this allows you to get lots of uses out of it, as well as creating lots of bubbles and pink coloured water which is so pretty and girlie. The Pink Flamingo's scent is actually inspired by summer cocktails and contains fragrant rosewood and sexy ylang ylang. To me this little flamingo smells very new, meaning it's not like any other scent I've found or tried in Lush before, it has an orange sherbet fragrance with a sugary sweetness to it, the combination works really well and it's fair to say it smells absolutely lovely. Pink Flamingo also contains fair trade cocoa butter which if your a dry skin sufferer like me your going to love, its so moisturising and leaves my skin felling so soft and nourished afterwards, its so lovely.
Overall I did really enjoy the Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar, its cute to look at, smells amazing, creates lots of bubbles and  pretty pink water and nourishes my skin. The only negative thing I have to say about the Pink Flamingo is that after my first use it literally fell off the stick which made using it afterwards in my next bath difficult because I could no longer swish it around the bath I had to crumble it in instead which in my opinion wasted lots of uses and with the £5.95 price tag I was really hoping to use the little cutie a lot more than twice.

Have your tried the Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar yet beaut's?? What did you think??
