MUA Mega Volume Mascara | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

I'm forever trying out new mascara's, I'm slightly addicted to buying them ha ha. As I'm also a huge MUA fan i thought it was only right i tried one of their mascara's too so i opted for their 'Mega Volume Mascara In Black Waterproof' they also have a standard Black and Brown to choose from if your not a waterproof fan, i must admit i NEVER buy waterproof mascara's but for some reason i was drawn towards it so went for it.

Onto what the mascara is like... When i first opened this i was abit overwhelmed by the size of the brush, its one of those rubber style jobbie's but its massive!!! However... The brush is fabulous its got lots of teeny tiny little bristles that really grab and coat every lash and i find the brush really helps to prevent clumping as it feels likes its combing through each lash. I felt this mascara really separated my lashes and as well as volume it gave me length too which i think is great considering its doesn't state anything about it being lengthening.

The formula was nice, it didn't smudge or flake on me but that could be the waterproof  element helping me out there, it was also nice and black too. I tested the waterproof aspect of this out when i was in the shower and it didn't run or flake off at all.

Down to the dreaded removal... I always worry with waterproof mascara's that they will be a pain to get off, i used my Simple Eye Makeup Remover to remove this and it came off a treat so i guess its just down to what you use to remove it.

All in all I'm quite impressed with this considering it was another MUA bargain of just £3. The only downside to this is as you pull the mascara wand out the closure hole is very small so it scrapes alot of product off which is great for reducing clumps but no so great if you was in a rush as you do have to keep putting the wand in and out alot, other than that i really do like this mascara.

Have you tried this mascara?? What did you think??

  5. I've been dying to try MUA after seeing so many bloggers write about it, but they more often blog about the palettes (and the highlighter, of course). However, this mascara looks really, really great! If I ever order from there, I'll have to try this out.
