Yankee Candle Vanilla Bourbon Tart Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I'm back with another Yankee Candle review for you all, it was my birthday recently and my friend Kate from Kate's Closet kindly bought me some presents, two of which where Yankee Candle Tarts, one in Vanilla Bourbon which I'll be reviewing today and the other was Pineapple Cilantro, shes knows me so well he he.

Vanilla Bourbon is one of the new Yankee Candle scents released for the Autumn this year and is described as a 'traditional warm-me-up on a cold winter's day. A mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of thick vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon', and I have to say it smells as good as it sounds, its divine. The scent of Vanilla Bourbon itself once it gets going in the tart warmer is very creamy and mocha like, think of the scent you get when you order a mocha in Starbucks or Costa and add the sweetness of vanilla and caramel to it with the ever so slight dash of bourbon which adds a bit of spice and that's exactly what Vanilla Bourbon smells like. It such a homely scent too and I definitely agree with the 'warm-me-up' claim in the description, I feel like this scent is perfect for burn when it's really cold and miserable outside and you just want to feel all snug and cosy, it really is a gorgeous scent. In terms of strength and how much scent Vanilla Bourbon throws out I'd say it's a medium to high, it's not over powering but it's definitely noticeable and fills the house within minutes of it melting within the warmer. Vanilla Bourbon is most definitely a hit with me and I'll be repurchasing it over the Autumn season that's for sure, if you like anything warming with hints of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and spicy bourbon then your going to love Vanilla Bourbon!

All the Yankee Candle wax tart melts claim to provides up to 8 hours of fragrance but personally I find they last sooooo much longer, I can literally have the wax tarts burning in my tart burner for weeks and they still fragrance the entire house which is amazing and such great value for money considering they only set you back £1.49 each.

Have you tried the new Vanilla Bourbon scent beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!!

Jord Cora Wood Watch in Koa & Rose Gold Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a really exciting post for you all featuring a very unique and beautiful looking watch made by a company called Jord. Jord are a US brand that don't just make any old watches but instead they make ladies and men's wood watches, yup that right, all of their watches are made from natural and sustainably sourced wood from around the world, pretty amazing right. I 'd honestly never seen a wooden watch before and when browsing the Jord website I was blown away with their stunning collection of watches and quickly feel in love. Theres so many designs, woods and colours to choose from on the Jord website but I opted for the Jord Cora Series in Koa & Rose Gold* ($275/£177), I can never resist anything with a hint of Rose Gold, it's just so beautiful.
When my watch arrived it was beautifully packaged in an amazing, well made, pale wooden box with a sliding lid, the watch was then nestled inside the box over a little tweed jewellery pillow which just looked adorable and would work so well if your buying the watch as a gift. The Jord Cora watch is available in 5 different series/colour designs, as I said before I opted for the Koa & Rose Gold design which I adore, I think the dark Koa wood is so beautiful against the metallic rose gold watch face and although it's a wood watch it still looks super feminine and delicate and is relatively lightweight too. The watch face also has square swarovski crystal markers, sapphire crystal glass which is scratch proof and you can see the mechanical watch movement from the watch face as well as at the back of the watch, all of which I think is such a beautiful touch, and when the sun catches the crystals it really twinkles and looks super pretty.
The Cora model is currently Jord's only automatic mechanical watch model for women so it requires no batteries at all. The automatic mechanical watch needs to be worn a minimum of 8 hours a day, as the motion of your hands and arms keep the movement running and keeps your watch wound up, this does mean if you don’t wear the watch for a few days it will need to be wound again but I personally I think it's genius and saves the trouble of getting new batteries often.

With Jord being based in the US it's good to know they ship internationally, and they aim to ship orders within 1-3 days via tracked USPS shipping, I actually kept tracking my watch which I found really quite fun. One of the many things that really blew me away about Jord is when ordering your watch you have the ability to have the watch re-sized for a $10 fee, I think that is so good, I have quite small wrists and every watch I've ever owned has always been too big for me, so the fact you can have this done before you watch even arrives it pretty impressive. The extra links that were taken out were included in the wooden box and
the deployment buckle with push button at the back is  easy to open and close and is made from stainless steel.
Overall I'm so happy with my Jord wood watch, If you are in the market for a new watch, then definitely check out Jord watches. As you can see, they are absolutely gorgeous and uniquely beautiful. There's a style for everyone and their watches start at $120 which is really good for such well made watches.

Bahlsen PICKUP! Dark Chocolate
I've actually tried the Bahlsen PICK UP! bars in milk chocolate before and thought they where super yummy but now they have released the all new Dark Chocolate version. My boyfriend actually ate all of these as I'm not a lover of dark chocolate but he said they where super yummy and they are perfect to pop in your lunch box too.

Bahlsen Choco Leibniz White
Oh my goodness these Choco Leibniz White Biscuits are so good, they are basically a crisp cocoa biscuit wrapped in the most creamy white chocolate, they are super indulgent but have gone down an absolute treat with me whilst watching the X Fcator haha.

Barilla Penne Rigate £1.50 and Barilla Arrabbiata £2.00

Barilla is Degustaboxes product of the month this month, I've actually used the pasta and the sauce up already and it was really, really nice and super tasty. I find pasta and sauces so easy to work with and can make a meal in minutes, I actually added a lot of other vegetables to my tomato and chilli sauce and then mixed the end result through the cooked pasta and it was lush, theres was even left overs for lunch the next day he he.

Life Tonics Coconut and Mint Water £1.49
Life Tonics Hydration Plus Coconut and Mint Water is said to keep you super hydrated and contains 5 vitamins and 4 minerals which is rather cool isn't it. I'm yet to try this but I have a feeling it will be lovely, I always find coconut water super refreshing and I think the touch of mint will really heighten that to.

Overall I love Degustabox, I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.
