Makeup Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette | Review ♥

 Hey beaut's!

You may remember that's a few weeks ago on the 13th June Makeup Revolution released some gorgeous new makeup, I do have a blog post on some of the new releases that you can have a cheeky look at HERE if you like beaut's. One of the new releases that Ive been trying out and have instantly fallen in love with is the Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette in Light* so I thought I'd share my thoughts on it all for you today.

Makeup Revolution's Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette comes with 8 large panned, creamy concealers which are all packaged in a sleek black casing with a lovely large mirror inside the pull up lid. The palettes are available in 3 shades Light, Light-Medium and Medium Dark so theres certainly a palette to suit most skin tones which I think is fab! All 8 of the concealers within the palette have such an amazing creamy formula, my fingers literally melts onto the surface of each concealer making them so lovely to work with and they blend out beautifully whether your using your fingers or a brush for application. As for coverage and pigmentation... I'd say each concealer provides a medium amount of coverage and certainly does a good job of making my under my eyes appear brighter whilst successfully covering any darkness and imperfections which is exactly what I look for in a concealer. I do suffer with the odd dry patch on my face and I did worry that the concealers may cling to those dry patches because of them being in pan form but surprising they didn't, I put this down to the formula being so super creamy, arrhhh they are just sooo lovely! I can also see the Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal palettes being great for cream contouring and cream highlighting which has become huge recently, because I have the palette in the shade Light I have just been using mine to cream highlight and conceal but I'm certainly going to buy the Medium-Dark Palette for cream contouring because as I keep saying the formula of these concealers is just so beautiful and has blown me away when you take into consideration just how affordable this palette is.

All in all I'm super happy to have this palette of gorgeousness in my life and Id highly recommend it. I also think this palette would suit beginners to cream contouring/highlighting or even concealing as it's just so easy to work with and you have the variety of shades to play with.

You can find the Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette on the Makeup Revolution website for just £6.00... Yup that's right £6.00... What a beauty bargain!!

What do you think of concealer palettes beaut's?? Will you be buying one?? I'd love to know.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off Mascara | Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I'm abit of a mascara addict, I literally have two empty Glossy boxes full of mascaras, I just love them! So when I noticed that there was a mascara in Rimmels Scandaleyes collection that I didn't own I knew I just had to try it, so say hello to Rimmels Show Off Mascara*.
The main defining factor of this mascara is the wand! It's a uniquely shaped, plastic bristle wand which Rimmel claim that the flat side of the brush plumps lashes with show-stopping volume without a clump in sight, whilst the ball side/end lifts and curls your lashes for eyes that truly show-off. The mascara also has a flake-proof, smudge-proof formula which claims to last morning through too the night with scandalous volume and lift, for lashes that really show off! Sounds pretty amazing right and definitely everything I want from a mascara!

So does this mascara live up to it's claims... Well kind of... The formula of the mascara is very dry in the tube so it does take some work to apply but then dryer mascara are better for reducing the risk of clumps as you aren't slicking mascara all over the place and the Show Off Mascara rarely clumped during application which is a bonus. As far as volume and length go I am abit disappointed, when I saw the name Show Off in the mascara title I was honestly expecting super long lashes with volume in abundance but it really didn't do much for my lashes in that regard, don't get me wrong my lashes are slightly longer than my natural lashes and they do have a nice amount of lift and curve to them but I was expecting alot more. I do however love the fact this mascara is smudge-proof without being waterproof, it honestly stays on very well and doesn't budge all day and I never experienced any flaking or transferring at all which is great. As I said before the wand is one of those plastic, spiky bristle jobbies which I'm not a huge fan of as I they are so hard and spiky when you wriggle the brush at the root of your lashes and it can be quite a painful experience, however the show off wand is very easy to use and combs through my eyelashes lovely and the little rounded end makes getting to any hard to reach lashes a breeze.
Overall I'd say this is a pretty average mascara for volume and length but its great if your looking for a long lasting, smudge-proof, flake-proof mascara that gives your lashes a slight lift and curve. I also love the fuchsia packaging, it's just so girly and fun!

You can find the Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off Mascara (£6.49) along with the lots of other Rimmel Make-up on the Chemist Direct website, its the UK’s largest online health care and pharmacy business, providing quick and affordable delivery of tens of thousands of health and beauty products, whats best is you can save a few pennies on there too he he.

Cocoa Brown TOUGH STUFF | Review ♥

Hey beaut's

You may already know that I'm a huge Cocoa Brown fan, in fact it's the only fake tan ill use because it's so quick and easy to apply, you can have a beautiful looking tan within an hour, it never goes Orange or muddy looking, it fades evenly, it's smells gorgeous and honestly my list could go on and on about how much I love the 1 hour tan he he. Back in May something amazing happened, both the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan and the Tough Stuff 3 in 1 Body Scrub won the best fake tan and the best scrub at the Best in Beautie Awards 2014, how great is that and so well deserved. To celebrate the lovelies over at Cocoa Brown took to twitter and where giving away loads of tubes of their award wining scrub and I was one of many who won woohoo, I actually got send 2 75ml tubes and I've actually used a whole tube up already he he (it's just so nice) so today I thought I share with you all my thoughts on it!

Cocoa Brown's Tough Stuff is available in 2ooml tubes for £5.99 or you can buy little one use sachets for £2.99 which are great if you want to take the scrub away with you on holiday as the sachets really wont take up any space in your suitcase at all. The packaging of the scrub is gorgeous, it runs along the same Cocoa Brown theme with it's hot pink design and eye catching logo and looks super pretty on you bathroom shelf.
Now if the packaging wasn't girly/pretty enough wait until you see the scrub itself.... ITS PINK!!! Yup that's correct, when you pop some of the scrub into your hands your met with a pretty pink sight that all of us girly girls will enjoy, it also has Cocoa Browns signature Tahitian Gardenia scent, which is incredible and really lingers on the skin after use. The texture of the scrub is totally different to any other body scrubs I've used before because it's very wet and quite runny but it's jam packed with lots of finely milled scrubby bits, because the scrub is so finally milled I did wonder if it would be abrasive enough, but it actually gets to work brilliantly and helps to either prepare your skin for your tan, it can be used to remove stubborn old tan and is a fabulous exfoliating body treatment when used alone. Because Tough Stuff is nice and runny it can actually be used on dry and wet skin, when used dry it gives a more abrasive, deeper exfoliate and when used wet it's that little bit more gentle and will probably work better on sensitive skin suffers like myself.
Overall I absolutely love this TOUGH STUFF he he, after using it I find my skin feels soooo soft and isn't irritated at all and I'm left with the perfect fake tan base.

You can find Cocoa Brown's TOUGH STUFF as well as the rest of the Cocoa Brown collection online at FeelUnique or in store at selected Superdrug and Primark stores.

Have you tried this scrub before beaut's?? Did you win one on the Twitter giveaway?? I'd love to know.
