My Favourite Summer Perfumes!

I love to switch things up in my perfume caddie when the seasons change, so today I thought I'd share with you all my favourite fruity, floral fragrances that I've been rocking constantly this Spring/Summer!

My go to scent at the moment is Accessorize' Lovelily! Lovelily has a super fresh scent with fruity, floral notes and light hints of sweetness to it too, its perfect for everyday wear because it isn't too strong or overpowering, and despite it's lightness it has really good lasting power and I can always smell the sweet vanilla notes within it on myself throughout the day which I love. Next up is my Vera Wang Hippie Princess perfume - Hippie Princess is a very fruity scent and it's exotic fruit and gentle floral notes really do come through when you first spritz this heart shaped beauty, as the scent dries down there's a slight sweetness that comes through which is down to it's warm vanilla note and as a whole the scent isn't over powering or ridiculously strong either. Can you tell I love scents with the sweetness of vanilla within them he he.

 Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling is a favourite of mine all throughout the year really but I seem to have been reaching for it a lot this Spring/Summer, it's so sweet, girlie and playful and I think the pretty pink packaging really reflects that too. Macaron and Cotton Candy are at the heart of this fragrance so as you can imagine when wearing this you smell good enough to eat, however even though this is such a super sweet scent I never find it sickly and the fruity top notes and musky base notes really do help to balance this fragrance out, it's bloody lovely! Finally is my Jimmy Choo Blossom perfume, this is more of a summer evening scent for me because it's slightly stronger than what I usually wear during the day, its very feminine, sweet and floral, it's gorg!

My Top 3 Spring/Summer Scents Reviewed! ♥

Vera Wang Hippie Princess* 30ml £19.99

I'm a huge lover of Vera Wang's perfumes, her scents are always incredible and the bottles are simply stunning, and her new offering Hippie Princess really doesn't disappoint. Hippie Princess is a very fruity scent and it's exotic fruit and gentle floral notes really do come through when you first spritz this heart shaped beauty, as the scent dries down there's a slight sweetness that comes through which is down to it's warm vanilla note and as a whole the scent isn't over powering or ridiculously strong either. Overall I love this scent and think it would work amazingly in the warm/hot summer months, its a really lovely young everyday scent that will leave you smelling sweet and tropical.

Top Notes- Red Mango, Apple Blossom and White Freesia. 
Heart Notes- Lotus, Jasmine and Apricot Nectar.
Base Notes- Blonde Woods, Vanilla and Pink Musk.

Jimmy Choo Blossom* 40ml £30.50

Blossom is Jimmy Choo's brand new fragrance for 2015 and is inspired by the sweet fragrances of the summer months. When I first gave Blossom a spritz it was very apparent that the fragrance opened up with sweet, juicy notes which come from the Sweet Pea, Red Berries and Citrus, once the very sweet opening drys down it then turns surprisingly into a somewhat floral, fruity mash up which is so nice and very summery. If your slightly shy of stronger scents then Blossom may not be for you because it definitely packs a fragrant punch, but I've found it's strong scent definitely helps with it's longevity as this is one very long lasting perfume. Overall I think Jimmy Choo's Blossom is perfect for the summer season, it's feminine, sweet and floral and would be perfect for those summer evenings out, although I would say it's a great all rounder scent for day and night time wear but my personal preference would be to use Blossom as a evening scent.

Top Notes-  Red Berries and Citrus. 
Heart Notes- Sweet Pea and Roses.
Base Notes- Sandalwood and White Musk.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream* 30ml £32.99

I absolutely adore all of the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfumes, they smell so gorgeous and the packaging is to die for so Daisy Dream was an absolute must for me to try! Daisy Dream is a light fruity floral fragrance that's inspired by daises and blue skies. I think Daisy Dream may be my favourite scent for this season, it's just so feminine, sophisticated, airy, light and is absolutely perfect for daytime wear during the Spring and Summer months because it's not overpowering at all. I do find Daisy Dream quite similar to the original Daisy fragrance but Daisy Dream is that little bit more fruity. I cant not mention the gorgeous bottle can I, it's adorned with pretty white daisies and has gold accents on the cap, arrhhhh I just love it so much!

Top Notes- Blackberry, Grapefruit and Pear.
Heart Notes- Jasmine, Lychee and Blue Wisteria.
Base Notes- White Woods, Musks and Coconut Water.

Benefit BAD Gal Waterproof Eyeliner in Extra Black*

Arhhh I love good ole Benefit, everything I own from them I seem to just get on so well with and the BAD Gal Eyeliner doesn't differ, its so good in fact that its been named the number 1 selling eye pencil in the UK for the past 3 years, wowza. The liner itself is very rich and creamy in formula and glides on with ease, the shade is gorgeous too, its a dark smokey black shade which I'm really pleased about, I really do hate liners that are meant to be black but actually come out grey its so annoying, but thank goodness I don't have that problem with Benefits offering. The BAD Gal liners lasting ability is also really good, its extremely long lasting and stays put most of the day, I can now see why its the number 1 selling eye pencil in the UK, its blooming brilliant!

Anna Sui Miniature Fragrance Collection*

How gorgeous is this little Anna Sui Miniature Fragrance Collection, arrrhhh I love it! The collection includes the perfumes Secret Wish, La Vie De Boheme, Secret Wish Magic Romance, Flight of Fancy and Fairy Dance Secret Wish, they all come in beautiful little 4ml bottles and after giving them all a whiff I can officially say they all smell divine and very luxurious, and if that wasn't enough all the little perfumes come in a gorgeous Anna Sui clutch bag which I think is such a nice touch, you could use the bag on nights out or as a makeup bag the choice is yours! I have to just point out how nice this collection would be as a Christmas present, my Mum would love it so I'm tempted to buy her one this year he he.

Any of you girlie's with long, thick hair like mine will know that a Tangle Teezer is an essential, they just make life so much easier don't they... So when I saw that Tangle Teezer had bought out an Aqua Splash version (a tangle teezer suitable to use during shampooing, conditioning, swimming, at the beach and at the spa) I was intrigued to see just how it worked, and the result is... I love it! The ergonomic oval body ensures a firm, non-slip grip making it so easy to use, especially when brushing conditioner through your hair and it gets those horrible wet knots out with ease, where as other brushes really do struggle and end up ripping half my hair out.
