May Glossybox Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossy box time!!! This month we have the 'Glossy Getaways' box, a theme that provides us with must have beauty products for any of us jetting off on holiday this season! I'm actually quite disappointed with this months box, yet again it feels slightly lack luster as theres only two full size products in the box and the other three products are samples which really is pants! I've actually been considering changing beauty boxes for a while now and finally last night I did un-subscribe to Glossybox, so this will be my last Glossybox review for a while unfortunately! Anyway onto the contense of this months box!

Revlon Ultimate All In One Mascara | Full Size | £9.99

Firstly this month I have the Revlon Ultimate All In One Mascara. In March Glossybox told us that we would all be getting a Revlon Mascara inside our May box and that we would have full control over choosing which type of mascara we could have, with all of Revlon's new mascaras to choose from, as I mentioned before I opted for the All In One mascara basically because it would be a good all rounder! This mascara claims to give volume , length , definition , lift and intense colour so I'm really looking forward to putting this to the test!

Absolute New York Velvet Lippie in Rumba | Full Size | £4.93

My second and final full size product in this months box is the Absolute New York Velvet Lippie in the shade Rumba which is a very summery peachy-coral shade! Velvet lip creams and liquid lipsticks are huge at the moment so I'll definitely be giving this a whirl!

Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection SPF 30 | Sample | Full Size £13.99

The first of the three samples I got this month is the Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection SPF 30! This would have actually came in handy last weekend when we had a mini heatwave in the UK as it was super hot a sunny where I live, hopefully we get more nice weather so I can actually use this then!

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser | Sample | Full Size £8.99

Next up is a sample of the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, this soap free cleanser is said to be hugely popular because not only is it suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive like mine but it also soothes and nourishes the skin as well as removing all traces of makeup! All you have to do is massage into the skin and remove with a tissue, however I think I will be using my muslin cloth when I give this a whirl! 

Be Good Youth Enhancing Plump & Firm Moisturiser | Sample | Full Size £23.50

Lastly this month I have a small sample of the Be Good Youth Enhancing Plump & Firm Moisturiser! I'm actually pretty excited to try this because it sounds amazing, it's a nourishing moisturiser that claims to plump, smooth and soften the complexion whilst also leaving the skin dewy, glowy and illuminated which sounds right up my street because I adore dewy, glowing skin!

There was also a small bag of popcorn in my box this month for some reason, I have no idea what is it in the box for because there is no information on it on the little card menu that we get but hey ho, popcorn all round!

Hey beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossybox time!!! This month Glossybox have been getting into the Summer mood and have bought us a 'Summer's Calling' themed box with the promise of three full size products and two samples. I must admit I wasn't blown away by this months contents, but next months box is going to be festival and summer inspired apparently so I'm definitely going to stay subscribed so see what Junes box holds. 

 Anywhoo lets see what I received inside my May Glossybox...

MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand in Midnight Storm | Full Size | £6.95

Blue eyeliner is a key trend for Spring 2015 so this dual ended eyeshadow stick is all you need to achieve that look. One end of the eyeshadow stick is a deep metallic blue shade and the other is a metallic turquoise shade, both of which do contain some minute glitter sparkles but nothing too over the top. The texture and consistency of the eyeshadow stick is lovely,  its very light and creamy which can be blended without much difficulty at all. The only downside for me with this is that the shade is very wearable for me because I'm stuck in my neutral ways and would of loved it to have been gold or bronze, never the less I'll still give a go somehow as the formula seems gorgeous!

Collection Field Day Lipstick in Pink Rose | Full Size | £2.99

Collection recently launched their new Field Day range and I've been dying to try something from that range so I'm super happy to have one of the lipsticks to try. I received the shade 'Pink Rose' which is a gorgeous pastel pink shade with a matte finish, it's the perfect colour for daytime wear during Spring and I cant wait to start using it.

Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel | Full Size | £15.93

The Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel seems perfect for using in the summer months or whilst your away on holiday as it not only soothes the skin but cools and hydrates too. It has a watery gel consistency that's very easy to work with, all you have to do is apply a sufficient amount to face and neck in upwards motions and voila... You'll have soothed skin before you know it.

Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam | Sample | £7.95  for Full Size

Now this sounds interesting and claims to be the next generation of dry shampoo, ohhhhh! The Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo is in foam form not a spray like usual dry shampoo's, to use all you have to do it pump out a generous amount of the foam onto your hand and then massage it in directly on your scalp to lift the dirt and grease, immediately remove the foam with a towel by using a towel drying motion. I have used the foam once so far and did like the results, it smelt lovely just like sweet apples and left my hair shiny and refreshed with no stickiness so I'm looking forward to working with this more. 

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate | Sample | £12.00 for Full Size

The SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate is a skin treatment to use post-shave or post-wax to soothe the skin and reduce hair regrowth. It contains salicylic acid and fruit enzymes which delicately exfoliate to ensure ingrown hairs are a thing of the past. I love the sound of this product and cant wait to give it a go, anything to help prep my legs for exposure in the warmer months is good to me!

May Glossybox Review! The Superdrug 50th Birthday Box ♥

So its that time again... Glossybox time!!! There's been so much speculation surrounding what this months Glossybox collaboration was going to be and I can finally reveal that Glossybox have teamed up with the iconic beauty retailer Superdrug to celebrate their very special 50th birthday! As Superdrug has been our go to destination for all of our makeup and beauty products for an impressive 50 years, it seemed the perfect time for them to fill our boxes with goodies that will showcase what they have to offer us this Summer, ohhh I love a good Summer Beauty Edit he he... 

So lets see what I received inside my 'Superdrug 50th Birthday' Glossybox...

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara | Full size | £6.99

I actually already own this mascara and love it, so I'm happy to have another one in my makeup stash for when mine runs out. The Retro Glam Mascara is actually Rimmels first mascara with an hourglass shaped brush that really plumps up and curves those lashes for that iconic 'retro' 60's look. One of the main factors I love about this mascara is that it really does give you that wide-eyed look, and as I have small eyes anything that opens them up more I love he he. Also as a little treat Glossybox have given us a £2.00 off voucher for the Wake Me Up Foundation (my favourite he he) to use only instore at Superdrug, bonus! 

B. Quick One Coat Professional Finish Nail Polish in Persica | Full Size | £4.99

I've never actually bought anything from Superdrugs B. Makeup line before so I'm excited to see how this nail polish fairs. It claims to give intense colour payoff after one application, has fast drying time and says it will leave your nails looking beautifully glossy, oohhh whats not to love! The peachy/coral shade is right up my street too and perfect for the summer months ahead.

Superdrug Large Doughnut Ring | £3.99 |

I must admit its very rare that I have my hair in a nice neat bun and when I do I tend to use a sock to create the doughnut affect ha ha, but it's nice to actually have the correct tool for the job at last ha ha!

I Love Cosmetics Strawberries & Milkshake Shimmer & Sine Lip Gloss | Full Size | £1.29

This lip gloss literally smells incredible and isn't as sticky as I thought it was going to be, usually with lip gloss tubes I find the product really gloopy but this isn't at all, it's slightly tacky but nothing major at all. There's no colour payoff with this gloss as its main purpose is to add some slight shimmer to your look, I can see this looking really pretty on a hot summers night at a beach party or BBQ.  

Blow Pro Daily Volumizing Conditioner | Sample | £9,99 for 235ml

Blow Pro is a brand that's new to me but sounds fabulous. It's free from parabens, sulfates and sodium chloride and claims to nourish, add body and prevent split ends and fly aways, this sounds pretty amazing to me and I absolutely love trying haircare in beauty boxes so I shall be using this tonight he he.

BONUS PRODUCT! Garnier Oil Body Lotion | Sample | £4,99 for 250ml

Usually I hate body oils... But... I absolutely love this one by Garnier and I'm definitely going to be buying the full size version of this pronto! It's a light, silky oil that's infused with body lotion that offers the same hydration and moisture of an oil but in the form of a body lotion, it's lovely and perfect for those who like the benefit of an oil but hate the oily feeling like I do. It also smells great, absorbs nicely and I'd go as far as saying that this could be my go to summer moisturiser.

BONUS PRODUCT! Ghost Eclipse | Sample | £33.00 for 50ml

I don't usually like getting perfume samples in my Glossybox but as this is a bonus product I don't mind so much, plus I love Ghost fragrances and the little sample is nice to throw in my handbag for an on the go spritz.

Overall I'm really happy with this months box, the contents is great I love that theres a good mix of full size products and samples and the collaboration is fantastic!
