Makeup Revolution's Must Have Eye Products!

Now you've all heard me go crazy about Makeup Revolutions eye shadow palettes, I'm simply obsessed with them he he, but sometimes I actually forget how many other products Makeup Revolution have to offer so today I thought I'd share with you all some other Makeup Revolution must have eye products in the form of pencils, liners and brows woohoo!

Awesome Double Flick Liquid Eyeliner* £3.50

I'm going to start with my absolute favourite... The Double Flick Liquid Eyeliner! I wear winged out eyeliner more or less everyday so when I find a good one I get very excited and I after road testing this little beauty from Makeup Revolution its fair to say I'm extremely excited he he. The double flick eyeliner has 2 ends, one with a thick felt tip style nib great for creating a full on effect and the other end has a thin nib which is great for precision, the concept of this makes winged out liner very easy and I'd highly recommend it for beginners. The formula of the liquid liner is very inky, highly pigmented and easy to use without dragging on the delicate eye area, the liner drys semi-glossy and lasts amazingly well, I apply mine very early in the morning and when I get home from work it's still completely in place and bold as ever.  

Amazing Inner Eye Brightener in Nude* £2.50

I must admit I don't tend to wear nude eyeliner on my waterline often as I love my black eyeliner, but sometimes if I've gone quite heavy on the liquid liner or if I want to wear a more natural makeup look then I will and Makeup Revolutions Inner Eye Brightener is lovely. The brightener has an amazing formula, its smooth, creamy, well pigmented and applies with ease, the Nude shade is lovely too, it's more of a pink-nude which I love as its very natural looking and does a great job of making my eyes appear brighter, more open and awake. The packaging is also great as it one of those automatic, twist up, self- sharpening jobbies which is always appreciated, no pencil sharpening yayyyy!

Awesome Dual Eyeliner Kohl & Flick* in Black £3.50

Another great concept that Makeup Revolution have come up with is their Dual Kohl & Flick Eyeliner, just like the double flick liquid liner the Dual Kohl & Flick is double ended, on one end there is a Black twist up kohl eyeliner pencil and on the other is precise liquid liner, brilliant! The kohl eyeliner is again very easy to use, soft and creamy, blends out very well if you like creating smouldering smokey eyes and has a good amount of pigment, it's the not the blackest kohl liner if ever used but it's still good. The liquid liner end has an easy to use, precise, felt tip style nib but it has a slightly dryer formula and sets more glossy but undoubtedly it's still an amazing liquid liner, overall I think this is a definite handbag staple.

Awesome Ultra Brow Arch & Shape* in Dark £3.50

Oh my goodness I love this... The Ultra Brow Arch & Shape pencil is available in 4 shades Fair, Medium, Dark and Darkest, I have the shade Dark which is definitely best suited for light to medium brunettes as it's not that dark at all really. What I love about the most about the  Ultra Brow Arch & Shape pencil is that it's so easy to use and you can create amazing looking brows that still look super natural which is always a good thing. The brow arch & shape is double ended so on one end you have a soft yet intense brow pencil and on the other end theres a super-fine felt tip which is great for defining your brows further and .drawing in individual hairs for the natural yet full look. The lasting power of this little duo is amazing, especially the felt tip side, theres no budging that bad boy ha ha. 

Yet again Makeup Revolution have impressed me silly amounts, my absolute favourite out of the bunch is the Double Flick Liquid Eyeliner, don't get me wrong I love them all but I've used the double flick eyeliner every single day since Ive had it and literally cant be without it now.

Sleek MakeUP Bronze Block Review

As the British Summer is now in full swing I've been loving that whole bronzed/glowing look and as our friends over at Sleek decided to release a bronzing block I thought it would only be fair for me to give it go a review it in full for you all, so say hello to Sleeks Bronze Block in Dark*!!

The Sleek Bronze Block (£7.49)  is available in 2 shades Light and Dark, yup for some bizarre reason Sleek have decided to ditch the in between medium option and go straight for light to dark which I must admit confuses me slightly. I definitely think the Light shade will be loved by fair skinned beauties as it really is quite light and certainly wouldn't be very noticeable on my skin tone, the Dark shade which I have is OK for medium/olive skin tones when used with a light hand (definitely go with the 'less is more' moto) and I think darker skin tones would also find this brozing block suitable too.

The Bronze Block is made up of four complementary shades which claim can be worn alone to contour/enhance a tan or combined to use as a blush or to illuminate the skin. Within the Bronze Block their are 3 shades of bronzer and 1 blush, the top two bronzer shades are matte and go from light to medium, then the third bronzer on the bottom left is really quite dark and contains minute shimmer/glitter particles, the blusher on the bottom right is a dark coraly-pink and again contains some minute shimmer/glitter particles. The quality of the shades within the block really are great, they are super soft to swatch, packed full of pigmentation especially the blusher and blend out with ease requiring hardly any effort whilst applying at all however... If you want to use the four shades within the block separately it does prove to be quite a difficult task due to the size of each little square being so small, so I find it best to swirl my blusher brush all over the four shades because no ones blush/bronzer brush is going to be small enough to use the shades separately, if you do own a smaller contour brush like the Real Techniques offering then your winning when it comes to using the block for contouring as the brush is the perfect size to pick up the top two matte bronzer shades and does a fantastic job at achieving a gorgeous contoured look without looking muddy. 

Overall I find the block slightly love-hate for me, I love the quality and the formula of the shades within the block I just wish it was somewhat larger so it would be easier to use each square separately, I would of also loved it if Sleek would of kept the block completely matte aswell because the darker bronzer shade contains those minute shimmers which can make the bronzer look un-natural and slightly like a disco ball which is never great. Like I said beore I do love to top two matte shades for contouring and the blush is very nice but I do find myself want abit more from the Bronze Block unfortunatly, it's so annoying beacuse I really wanted to love this bronzer but I think it's ok.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

 The other day when repurchasing my all time favourite concealer, the 'Collection Lasting Perfection' i realised I've never done a review on it before, silly me. Ive been using this concealer for years and have gone through so many tubes, but i just love this concealer so much i wont ever stray from it and no matter how many concealers i try they never really come close to Collection's offering.

The Lasting Perfection Concealer comes in a little plastic tube (beware the writing rubs off the packaging almost instantly) with a doe foot applicator, there's 4 shades to choose from in the collection, Fair, Light, Medium and Dark. I always buy the shade 'Fair' for under my eyes as i like a nice brightening concealer for under the eyes but then i also use 'Meduim' for any blemishes i might have. 

The consistency of this concealer id say is quite thick and creamy, it's really easy to work with and blends out beautifully and provides full coverage without looking cakey, it also covers blemishes and dark under eye circles superbly. Another little use for this concealer is that it helps conceal and fill pores really well too, brilliant!!! I find the best way to apply this concealer is either with your fingers or i like to use my 'Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush' just for that flawless finish.

The concealer claims to have super long lasting 16 hour wear coverage, i do agree that this is a super long lasting concealer but id say more like 9-10 hours than 16. The only negative i have about the concealer itself it the fact it can cling to dry patches, for instance if i have a spot that's healing and i use the concealer to cover it i end up making the spot more visible as the concealer doesn't really blend in it just clings, lucky enough i don't really suffer with spots or break outs so its not too much of an issue for me, but if you was to buy this concealer for that purpose keep that in mind.

All in all this is one fabulous concealer and I'm pretty sure i will continue to repurchase this for a very long time, its also a nice affordable concealer too priced at just £4.19, such a beauty bargain.
