Hey beaut's!

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 10 to 15 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!

This month we have a bit of a back to school theme going on so I'm starting off with two Boka Bar's (75p each), I had the Choco Mallow and the Apple Cinnamon flavours and wow these where delish! If your a fan of cereal bars then I'd highly recommend these, their both under 100 calories each and low in sugar, salt and saturated fats, their literally the perfect elevenses snack!

These packets of LioBites (£1.99 each) are perfect if you want to incorporate some fruit into your day but in a super quick 'snacky' way, I bet kids would love them too because they are lovely a sweet and feel like a such a treat, and they also class as one of your five a day, fab!
I love eating sweets when I settle down to watch a movie or TV shows so this bag of Rowntree's Randoms 30% Less Sugar (£1.29) arrived at the perfect time for my POWER catch up on Netflix he he.

The Maggi Fusion Noodles (£1.39 each) and the Maggi 3 Minute Noodles are perfect to add in with a stir fry or to have as a lunchtime snack, their quick and easy to make and the flavours are super yummy too!

Theres a couple of drinks within this months box starting with two cans of Gunna Craft Soft Drinks (£1.09 each)! Gunna is a new range of lower sugar soft drinks that contain no nasty unnatural junk, perfect for popping into the lunch boxes for school, they also wont have your kids bouncing off the walls on a sugar rush either he he!
This months product of the month is a can of Crooked Alcoholic Soda (£2.00), this stuff is super fruity and doesn't taste like your drinking alcohol at all, I'd highly recommend the Peach and Pomegranate flavour I got too, it was delish!

Finally this month we have a little breakfast club section featuring Illy Instant Smooth Taste Coffee (£5.85), Good Hemp Dairy Free Milk (£1.60) and a box of Dorset Cereals Spectacular Grains (£3.49) all of which are the perfect trio to get your working/school day started right! The Dorset Cereals Spectacular Grains are lovely and filling and keep me going for ages, I like to eat mine with yogurt and fruit but the milk goes perfectly with them too!

August Degustabox Review + £7 off Discount Code

Hi beaut's...

This month we have a 'Back To School' themed box filled with 16 yummy drinks and snacks some of which are perfect for our lunchboxes. Lets kick things off with my favourites... the sweets he he. Firstly we have two yummy treats from Cadburys to sink our teeth into, the Curly Wurly Squirlies (£1.99) and a bar of Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut (65p). In my opinion you cant beat a bit of Cadburys chocolate and these two wont be lasting very long with me I tell ya! Theres also a bag of Refreshers Softies (£1.00) to try, I used to love Refreshers when I was little so I'm excited to try this new spin on them being more of a gummy sweet than a hard one! The final sweet treat is a packet of Pick Up Black 'N White (£1.69), they are essentially two chocolate biscuits with a slab of white chocolate in the centre sandwiching them together, so yummy!
Next up is a couple of savoury snacks perfect for your lunch box, firstly theres two bags of Light Bights Popped Chips (99p each), these goodies are under 100 calories a bag, gluten free, veggie friendly and are packed full of fibre and protein, the two flavours I got sound incredible too so I'm looking forward to tucking into those! We also have a variety bag of Seabrook Crisps (£1.00), these are gluten free, crinkle cut crisps and I've already dived into the sea salted flavour and their so good!
Theres quite a few drinks to try this month starting with two bottles of Orangina (£1.20 each), I used to love Orangina when I was little, it was always such a treat drinking out of a heavy glass bottle however...these are actually both in limited edition summer bottles which are plastic, so much better for those lunch boxes hey! Then theres a bottle of Twisted Halo Coconut Water, Ginger and Vodka (£1.50) probably not so school friendly (LOL) but it sounds absolutely yummy, I'm looking forward to trying it out that's for sure. Finally theres two Jelly Squeeze (69p each) flavoured jellies to try, these are so perfect for a pack up because not only are they in a handy little pouch they are re-sealable too so you can save half for later, such a brilliant idea for kids I think!
I'm finishing this months box on a savoury note starting with Maggi Fusion Noodles (£1.39 each), these are great to add in with a stir fry or to have as a lunchtime snack, the flavours are super yummy too. Theres also a bottle of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise (£1.69) which is not only a sarnie staple but a dipping sauce for me, anyone else love dipping their chicken nuggets and chips into mayo, YUM he he. Finally this month we have a bottle of Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce (£1.89), this is great when you want your cooking to have a kick to it, wowza!

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop 039DB into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £7.00 discount when registering making your first box just £5.99. August Degustabox Review + £7 off Discount Code

Hi beaut's...

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself  and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's! I have to say that over the last few months the contents of each box really has been amazing, I literally cant wait to tuck in and this months certainly has me drooling he he!

This month we have 16 yummy food and drink items to sink our teeth into starting with some savoury treats from NutriPot, I had their Aromatic Thai Noodles £2.49 and their Moroccan Couscous £2.40 to try both of which where super yummy, their kind of a posher, better for you pot noodle with 50% of your daily vitamin and mineral needs, pretty cool huh! I absolutely love a curry and I'm always making them at home so I was super happy to see three things from the brand Geeta's to try, theres a Tikka Curry Paste £1.00, Rogan Josh Curry Paste £1.00 and Mango Chutney to give a whirl.

Moving on to some bits perfect for breakfast we have a box of Dorset Cereals Bircher Muesli in Raspberry and Blackcurrant flavour £3.49, I love having this with a vanilla yogurt topped with some fresh fruit, it's such a yummy, healthy breakfast and I adore the little measuring cup Degustabox threw in too. We also have a box of Clipper Lime and Ginger Green Tea £1.59, I'm not the biggest fan of green tea however I'm still keen to try this to see if the lime and ginger flavouring makes it taste yummy!

Then I have a couple of snacky bits in my box this month starting with the Willy Chase's Fit Corn in Apple Cider Vinegar £2.19, now I do love popcorn but I wasn't too keen on this flavour however I love that this brand ventures into different more unusual flavours, I think it's really cool! The last two snacky bits are by Rakusen's Snackers, these are healthy crackers that contain just 7 calories per cracker and as I blooming well love crackers these two bags didn't last long in my house, I enjoyed mine with cheese and also dipping in salsa, yum! I also got some Sweet and Sticky Barbecue Sauce and Marinade by Tabasco £1.99, we go through bottles of barbecue sauce in our house so I cant wait to start using this, it certainly wont be around for long!

Last up this month I have some drinks, starting with the Get More Multivitamins Sparkling Lemon and Lime £1.45, to me this tasted just like Sprite or 7up however it's so much better for you and contains 6 varieties of vitamins, natural flavours and theres no added sugar! Another refreshing drink I had this month is Fentimans Sparkling Lime and Jasmine. The alcholic drink we have this month is by Mahou Cinco Estrellas £1.20, which is a premium Spanish lager that my boyfriend actually loves so he will be polishing this off.

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop BLDEG15 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £7.00 discount when registering making your first box just £5.99.  Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my August Degustabox...

Lindt HELLO Just For You Heart Chocolate Tin £3.49
Well I had to start off with the chocolates didn't I ha ha. As you probably already know I'm a serious chocoholic so these little chocolate hearts will go down an absolute treat and certainly wont last very long, not to mention Lindt chocolate is absolutely delicous, mmm!

Dr.Oetker Edible Wafer Cases £2.50
These make me seriously happy, I love to bake and the fact that you can now get edible cupcake cases pleases me more than it should ha ha, I literally cant wait to bake some cupcakes now.

Cawston Press Apple & Pear Juice £1.89 for a 3 Pack
Cawston Press juices are specially blended for tiny taste buds and although theres no tiny taste buds in my house this little juice didn't last 5 minutes ha ha, it was rather delious too.

Schwartz Flavour Shots £1.39 each
These little flavour shots are right up my street, they both contain full recipes which are both very simple and easy to make, its just what I like when I've just got home from work and need something quick to make that tastes delicious, I cant wait to give these a go.

Berry White Organic Drink Peach & Goji Berry £1.59
Berry White is an all organic drinks company that use super fruits in their drinks and I have to say the peach and goji berry flavour tastes gorgeous once it's been chilled in the fridge. It really is tasty and so fruity and feels like such a treat in its heavy glass bottle.

Mexican Daves Tortilla Chips £1.00
I loveeee tortilla chips and dip when I'm having a movie night with the boyfriend (which we seem to do alot ha ha) so these will get scoffed very quickly. Mexican Daves is actually a new brand that has only just launched in Tesco on the 25th August so it's nice that we get to try them so soon after being released.

Brioche Pasquier Butter Croissants £1.79 Brioche Pasquier Milk £1.69
I've always loved Brioche Pasquier's pastries, they are just so sweet and yummy, I've particularly loved the butter croissants in this months box, so delicious!

Fever Tree Ginger Beer and Tonic Water £1.69 each
Fever Tree drinks are said to taste clean, subtle and balancing making them the choice of mixer in 7 out of 10 restaurants worldwide, wowza! I do love ginger beer so I'm looking forward to giving that a go but tonic water really isn't my thing so someone else will find pleasure in that I think hehe.

Caribbean Twist Strawberry Daiquiri £2.50
This months alcoholic option looks and sounds like it tastes seriously amazing amazing, I'm not a huge drinker but I do love real juicy, tasty drinks and this Strawberry Daiquiri looks like its just that.

Degustabox Fridge Extra £2.99
As a special little treat Degustabox have thrown in a new edition to the box called 'Degustabox Fridge' where you get a little card voucher entitling you to get a free 4 pack of MOMA! Bircher Muesli, all you have to do is pop into your local Sainsbury's or Waitrose and pick them up and together with the voucher they will scan through absolutely free, woohoo!

Overall I love everything in my Degustabox, apart from the tonic water theres not 1 thing that I wouldn't try! I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab!
