Maybelline Tattoo Brow Tint Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

I'm a little bit obsessed with doing my brows at the moment and experimenting with different products that I would never usually use, I'm not into the bold, blocky looking brow look on me personally, I like my brows to be fluffy and natural looking but I just find it so satisfying getting them perfect and on point, no makeup look is complete without a pair of gorgeous brows after all is it he he. Recently I've been testing out Maybellines Peel Off Tattoo Brow Tint, this is definitely a product I would ALWAYS shy away from using, but after plucking up the courage to use it I've really been enjoying the results!
The Maybelline Tattoo Brow* is an easy to use at home brow tint that claims to last up to 3 days! Now before I used this product I was super scared, I've never had my brows tinted professionally in my life let alone doing it at home by myself so I had no idea what to expect or how it was going to turn out, but as I said before I'm pleased with the results. The formula itself is quite thick and gel like and applies with a little brush, personally I would of liked the brush to be a smidge smaller for extra precision but that's just me being picky. Because this is a peel off tint I found applying a generous amount over my brows works best, not only will it achieve an even, non patchy brow look but it makes it a lot easily to remove once the product has set which takes around 20 minutes. Once the 20 minutes is up you simply peel off the tint from the tail of your brow, this is the most satisfying thing to do, I love it. I was slightly concerned I might lose a few brow hairs and that it may hurt when I peeled the product off for the first time but honestly it's pain free and from what I could see I never lost a single brow hair.
The results afterwards are pretty impressive, my brows looked so natural but completely filled in without being blocky or patchy at all, I'm honestly shocked at how well it works to be honest! I got away with not filling in my brows for 3 days but I did still use my brow gel just to make my brows look fluffy! The only thing I will say is that as the tint fades it went slightly warm toned on me, I actually got the shade Light Brown which is a nice cool toned brown at first but like I say as it fades it went a bit warm so you may want to bare that in mind!
Overall I really cant recommend this brow tint enough, it's super easy to use even for beginners like myself and the results are brilliant! The only tip I would give is precision is key, if you get the tint somewhere you don't want it - it will stain the skin if you don't remove it straight away!

You can find the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Tint for £12.99 HERE.

  1. This is something I've been wanting to try but have not build up the courage to do so yet. :) Did you only leave it on for 20min but it lasted you 3 days? Cause I'm a little apprehensive about the 2 hours the box is instructing to wait in order to get the 3-day brow..

    1. I only left mine on for 20 mins for the 3 day brow, it stays really well, if you left it on 2 hours I think it would last a week to be honest! xx

  2. I'm desperate to try this, I have jet black hair and my brows are very light brown so when I have no make up on I look brow-less! I hope it works well for me, might be my new best friend because I cannot afford micro blading right now! x

  3. I must try it! It's affordable and if I don't like I didn't spend too much money - or it could turn into a favorite! xx
