April Degustabox Review + £7 off Discount Code

Hi beaut's...

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 10 to 15 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!
This month we have 13 yummy food and drink items to sink our teeth into, I'm going to kick things off with the Whitworths Full Of Super Vanilla Maca-Roons (£1.50) these where such a yummy snack, they are crammed full of almonds, flakes of coconut and golden flax seed with a vanilla flavouring so as you can imagine they where super tasty and not too bad for the waistline. Next up are the ViPnuts in Hot Chilli flavour (£1.25) which my boyfriend absolutely loved, I'm not a huge chili lover but ViPnuts also have a toffee flavour which I'd love to give a whirl. We also got a small bar of Doisy & Dam's Quinoa, Smoked Tea & Vanilla Chocolate (£1.75), I was so keen to try this because I'm such a chocolate lover but the flavourings are so different to anything I've tried within chocolate before, it had quite a nutty, smokey taste which was nice but so different. Degustabox also threw in a pot of Sugar Free POLO's (£1.49), these bring me back to years ago when I never left for school without some sugar free polos in my school bag he he.
Their was only two drinks in this months box starting with the Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water, this is the perfect mixer for Gin or Vodka lovers and the fact its Pink really pleases me he he, it looks so pretty in a glass. The second drink in this months box was a bottle of CELIA Organic Lager (£2.49), this is brewed by using just three ingredients which is pretty impressive and it certainly got my boyfriends seal of approval. Their was also three yummy Nothing But (£1.20 each) snacks to try, I have actually tried these before and their so nice, they are freeze dried fruit and vegetable snack packs that are all under 80 calories with no nasties added into them at all, amazing right! One packet even counts as one of your five a day, I'm loving that!
Next up was a box of Dorset Cereals Muesli (£4.89) I love having this was yogurt and fruit in the mornings or even as an afternoon snack, yum yum yum! Their was also a sharing bag of Seabrook Lattice Sea Salt & Black Pepper Crisps (£1.50-£1.99), these where immense and I'd totally buy them again for movie nights. Next we got some Good Hemp Seed Hearts (£4.49), these can be used in baking, for toppings and sprinkling on stir fries, salads and yogurt and will add a dose of protein, fibre and omega 3! Finally this month we have a bag of Garofalo Whole Wheat Penne Pasta (£2.19), I cook pasta dishes loads so this bag probably wont even last us a week he he.

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop 039DB into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £7.00 discount when registering making your first box just £5.99. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise food treats ha ha!

What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's? I'd love to know your thoughts!
