Rimmel Foundations! My Top Picks!

Hey beaut's!

Rimmel are definitely one of my favourite makeup brands on the high street, the quality of their makeup is pretty incredible and they are the one brand I'm forever repurchasing from, and today I thought I'd talk all things foundation and share with you all my top picks from Rimmel! Rimmel really do know how to make a cracking foundation don't they... Whatever your skins concerns, Rimmel have it covered, their range of long wearing, lightweight foundations ensure that you can cover blemishes and imperfections without that awful cakey, mask effect and all for an affordable price.

Match Perfection Foundation £6.99 ( Illuminating)

If you want a foundation to really even out the skin tone whilst making you look completely radiant then Match Perfection is the foundation for you. It's a high tech medium coverage foundation that contains a sapphire radiance complex which will basically illuminate your skin making it appear more healthy and add that glow to the skin which is exactly what I need when its dreary and dull outside at this time of the year. I would recommend this foundation to all skin types and I love how cheap it is too.

Wake Me Up Foundation £8,99 ( Radiance)
Missed out on your eight hours of beauty sleep? Need a serious pick me up? Then Rimmels Wake Me Up foundation will be the one for you. Wake me up provides a medium-buildable coverage that will have your skin looking instantly brighter, healthier and more awake thanks to its fresh, dewy finish. I find it really easy to work with and blends out beautifully and if you have skin prone to dry patches like I do then fear not as Wake Me Up doesn't cling to the patches at all which is a major bonus for me.

Lasting Finish Full Coverage Foundation £7.99 (Long Lasting)
Rimmels Lasting Finish Full Coverage Foundation is one of their newly released foundations and one I absolutely love. As the name suggests it does provide full coverage which is something I never really opt for in a foundation as prefer something much lighter but I have do admit it feels and looks blooming fantastic on the skin, I was amazed at just how lightweight it felt considering it was full coverage. The foundation is also enriched with comfort serum which helps keep your skin hydrated and looking flawless and because of its 25 hour lasting ability it makes the foundation transfer proof, long wearing and never needs touching up or re-doing during the day. Again I would recommend this for all skin types and it does'nt cling to my dry patches at all.

Stay Matte Foundation £5.99 ( Mattifying)
Although I never really got on with this foundation because of my dry skin type I couldn't not include it in this post as it's works amazingly on any of you oily skinned girlie's. It's full coverage formula contains weightless mattifying powders which do feel very nice on the skin and blends out beautifully and will keep your skin locking shine free all day, its also a very affordable £5.99.

And there you have it beaut's, my Rimmel Foundation top picks! You really cant beat Rimmel when it comes to high street foundations can you... Especially when you combine everything from the price, quality, long lasting ability, packaging, how easy they are to work with and wear, the list really could go on he he.

Whats your favourite Rimmel Foundation beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

  2. I've tried Match Perfection (loved it) and Wake Me Up - which I found way too glittery!

  4. I tried Match Perfection but it was a tad light for me so I don't really use it any more however I did think it was really easy to blend which was good, and I love the Lasting Finish One although I'm not sure whether I'd say it's transfer proof at least not on me - they are such good value for money :-)

  5. I've tried Wake Me Up but Lasting Finish is my favourite. I think I've bought about 4 bottles of it now. I don't know if they've changed the formula as well as the packaging though- I guess I'll have to wait and see. I liked Wake Me Up but thought it was a lot more transferable than my usual xx
