Makeup Revolution Kajal Liner Review

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen my Makeup Revolution Haul quite some time ago and within that haul I picked up Makeup Revolutions Kajal Liner, I'd been lusting after a kajal style liner for a super long time and always hesitated because some of them I've seen where a little bit pricey but of course Makeup Revolution always have an affordable option and as theirs was only £2.00 I thought why not!
The reason behind me wanted to try a Kajal liner so badly is because of it's unusual shape, I just find it so interesting and have always wondered if it really did work and if it really was easy to get to grips with, and the answer is yes! The shape of the Kajal liner makes things so easy, firstly if you struggle to tight line your upper lash line then all your problems are solved with Makeup Revolutions Kajel Liner, all you have to do is rest the point of the Kajal on your lower lash line then gently close your eyes and line as normal, it does feel slightly bizarre to begin with but it doesn't hurt or scratch and most importantly you never nearly poke your eye out which is what nearly always used to happen to me. Secondly it never needs sharpening which is a major plus for me, I'm all about quick, fuss free makeup and the Kajel certainly ticks that box.
The formula of the Kajal is very soft and somewhat creamy, it's the kind of liner that allows you a little time to work with/smudge out before it has completely set which is always great when you want to achieve those smokey eyes. The staying power of the Kajal on the actually waterline itself is good, I do find by the middle of the afternoon I could use a touch up but that doesn't bother me at all, I have also noticed when the liner does start to fade it actually settles slightly at the root of my lower lashes which I think looks awesome as it really makes my lower lashes stand out. I have also used the Kajal on my eyelid as a base for a dark smokey eye and the lasting power was incredible, it literally didn't budge on my eyelid at all so I'd highly recommend it for that purpose too.
The packaging of the liner is good too, the lid of the Kajal slots on really securely so there n worries about throwing it in my handbag and it follows the same Makeup Revolution theme of black, shiny looking packaging with gold text.

Overall I'm so pleased I finally picked one of the Kajal style liners up because I certainly cant live without mine now, and for only £2.00 you really cant go wrong!

Have you tried the Makeup Revolution Kajal Liner yet beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!

  3. I haven't tried the Makeup Revoluton Kajal but I have tried another brand and I just couldn't get on with the shape! It was too chunky and I couldn't get a fine enough line. How do you use it? xx Thou Shalt Not Covet
