Limited Edition Vaseline Paint The Town | Review

At the begining of September Vaseline launched their third limited edition tin, say hello to 'Paint The Town' a gorgeous red lip tint. It was released exclusively in Selfridges throughout September, but now at last its readily available in Boots and Superdrug, yippee!!!

 I instantly fell in love with the packaging, i mean it just looks so cool with the effect of red paint dripping down the lid to form the silhouette of a city skyline. The product within the gorgeous tin really does look fab too, with its cherry red colouring and the most amazing sweet spicy berry scent, which seems very fitting for this time of year and it also tastes just as nice as it smells, yummy!!!

I must admit i was hoping for the pigmentation/tint to be alot stronger than it actually is, looking at the product in the tin you'd think it was a nice red shade, but in actual fact its a light pinky tone. I think 'Paint The Town' would be a nice addition to a red lip, giving you that extra tinted glossiness and moisture, it's also great to just chuck in your handbag for any on the go applications when your lips are feeling dehydrated.

All in all i am slightly disappointed that 'Paint The Town' isn't as pigmented as i first thought, having said that 'Paint The Town' is certainly my favourite out of all the Vaseline variety's, it still works the same as any general Vaseline but the tin looks great and it tastes and smells great too.

Don't forget as the tint is Limited Edition there is only a limited supply so make sure you get yours whilst you can before they all get snapped up. The tint is available from Boots and Superdrug and retails for £3.49.
