Mini Superdrug 3 for 2 Makeup Haul

Hey beaut's!

When I saw that Superdrug had their amazing 3 for 2 mix and match deal back on all makeup, false nails, false eyelashes and makeup brushes I just had to go in and get a few cheeky bits so I thought I'd share with you all what I picked up! I did end up paying for my items in two separate transactions just so I could get the best out of the deal because you always get the cheapest items free, and when you buy three things in the 3 for 2 at the moment you also get a free makeup bag so I ended you with two of those too but I gave one to my mum he he. Anyway onto the goodies I bought...

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge £5.99
The first thing I got was another one of my trusty Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponges, I've literally repurchased this little sponge about five times but I just cant get enough of it! I'm using one at the moment but it needs a good wash so I thought I'd grab a new one so that I have two to switch between!

Barry M Coconut Infused Nail Paint in Aloha and Flamingo £4.99 (1 FREE)
Arrrrhhh I couldn't wait to get my hands on these babies... Their from Barry M's new line of nail polishes for Spring and Summer named Coconut Infusion, they are made with a whole new formulation that blends together both coconut water and coconut oil to gently hydrate and nourish the nails, how awesome is that! I got the shades Aloha (Pink) and Flamingo (Coral) and I've already given them a whirl and absolutely love them, I'll be reviewing them in full soon!

Freedom Makeup Duo Brow Powder in Taupe £3.00
My trusty HD Brows Palette is basically coming to the end of it's life so I'm currently looking for a new holy grail brow product on the high street, I decided I'd go for something from Freedom Makeup as they have loads of brow products at the moment all of which are supposed to be dupes of Anastasia Beverly Hills. I did want their Pro Brow Pomade but my shade had sold out so instead I opted for their Duo Brow Powder in Taupe, I like it so far but will report back with more details soon!

Miss Sporty Studio Lash The Miaoww Liquid Eyeliner £2.99
Then I decided to repurchase another Miss Sporty Studio Lash The Miaoww Liquid Eyeliner, I picked one of these up a month or so ago on a total whim purely because it was only £2.99 and I loved the shape of it's nib, but Miss Sporty is a brand I never really buy anything from so I wasn't expecting much from it if I'm honest however.... It turns out that I absolutely love it! It's just so easy to use and precise and the formula is so inky black and long lasting, I'm totally sold on this liner so I just had to buy another one ready for when the one I'm using now runs out.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lasting Finish Lip Liner in Spice £2.99 (FREE)
Lastly I opted for Rimmel's 1000 Kisses Lasting Finish Lip Liner in the shade Spice. I'd heard a lot about this shade of lip liner on Youtube so decided to give it a whirl, I paired it with my Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in the shade Chauffeur and wow, they look gorgeous together so I'm so happy I picked this up!

Have you picked anything up in Superdrugs 3 for 2 deal beaut's? I'd love to know what you got!

Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream Review

Hey beaut's!

I've been pretty much obsessed with trying out all sorts of eye creams recently, I just have the most awful dark circles under my eyes that even concealer cant handle in the mornings sometimes, so I've been after finding that one product that ticks all the boxes for me which led me to trying the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream.

The Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream* (£20.50) is a gem of a product that I've been absolutely loving and has become a staple in my morning skincare routine before popping on my makeup. The formula itself is much like a lip balm, even though it's an eye 'cream' it actually comes on a twist up stick and the texture is just like a balm which I actually really like and it applies so much easier and quicker that way too.
What I love about this eye cream in particular is that it contains moisturising and restructuring properties which together soothe the eye contour, reduces dark circles and eye puffiness all in one go. It's also fragrance and paraben free but is rich in vitamins and an exclusive Botanical Comples which lifts, brightens, soothes and hydrates the eye area making it perfect for morning use!

I've been using the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream for a good few weeks and I don't think I could be without it now, it refreshes and wakes my tired eyes up instantly in the mornings and feels noticeably cool on my skin, just like it has come out of the fridge when in reality it's actually been sitting in my makeup bag! I had also been suffering from horrible, sore dry patches at the very ends of my eyes which where slightly puffy too and since using the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream that has completely cleared up, which I'm super happy about. As for reducing my dark circles... There is a slight decrease in darkness around my eyes which allows me to use a slighter lighter concealer but nothing major! What I think this eye cream works best at is hydrating, refreshing smoothes and de-puffing!

Have you tried the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara Review

Hey beaut's!

Being the huge mascara junkie that I am, today I’m super excited to share my thoughts with you all on the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara that I've been road testing over the last month or so.

Firstly can we all just appreciate how lush the packaging of this mascara is! Soap & Glory always have their packaging on point but this mascara is just wow, I love the retro-style box that the mascara is sold in, and the mascara tube itself is glamorously gold and I love every bit of it! The Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara itself claims to give length, volume, curl, definition and intensity which is a whole lot of things in one, but basically it's exactly what I look for in a mascara, and if you read my March Beauty Favourites post then you'll already know that I'm slightly IN LOVE with this mascara!
So let start with the mascara brush... It has a "super defining 7-sided fan flare 180 degree brush" which coats, combs, lengthens and curls the lashes. I actually find this very easy to use, it's not too big for my small eyes and very small lashes, and it's a natural bristle brush too so I can really wriggle at the root of my lashes without stabbing myself in the eye like I always do with the plastic brushes. The formula is a super intense black shade and quite wet which means I don't have to really load my brush up with product or do much re-dipping, it also features strength-building Collagen Pre-Peptides and Long-Stretch Polymores which work together to wrap the lashes in a flexible, lengthening film. I think this formula and the brush really do go hand in hand and work amazingly well, it can look a teeny bit clumpy if you keep building the mascara up but I actually like that look and I just couldn't believe how black, longer and defined my tiny little lashes where after I used this.
Overall I absolutely love this mascara and have definitely found my new holy grail mascara which is really saying something. This formula literally makes my lashes appear longer, super defined and adds a nice curve which is what I always look for in a mascara, and it stays on like nothing I've ever tried before, it literally doesn't smudge, flake or transfer at all throughout the entire day on me, it's incredible. So if you have little lashes like mine that need a bit of a boost then you NEED to try this mascara pronto!

You can find the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara in Boots for £10.50 HERE.
