Elf Baked Eye Shadow in Pixie | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently whilst i was having a snoop on the Elf website i noticed they had launched some baked eye shadows within their studio line, knowing that these are baked in an oven really intrigues me so i just had to buy one to try.

As the Elf Baked Eye Shadows are part of the Studio Line the eye shadow came packaged in the traditional Studio Line black cardboard box packaging, the eye shadow itself sits inside a simple, easy to open plastic case packaging,

The shade i opted for was 'Pixie', Pixie is a gorgeous metallic rose gold shade that in some lights can look some what peachy but my goodness I'm in love ha ha. The silky blendable formula makes application smooth and the eye shadow seems to glide onto the lid effortlessly. The pigmentation id say is good but it does have a sheer finish when completely blended, personally i prefer that as it looks so pretty and subtle, you can also use the baked eye shadows wet so of course i road tested that aspect out and i have to say 'Pixie' appears alot more pigmented and alot more vibrant when used wet and really does come to life.

I was surprised at how well 'Pixie' lasted on the lid, it doesn't matter whether you use the eye shadow wet or dry the lasting power stays the same staying in place around 8 hours on me, that's without using a primer and the combining fact i have oily eyelids, so that's really   impressed me.

All in all I'm really pleased I picked one of Elf's baked eye shadows up, i truly love Pixie and i have to say i don't really own any eye shadows that are even remotely similar to Pixie's shade, so it's nice to own something abit different.

You can buy Pixie on the Elf website along with the other 5 shades in the Baked Eye Shadow Collection for £3.75 each.

Have you tried any of the baked eye shadows yet??? Which one is your favourite??? Id love to know.
