Hey girlie's!!!
Ive been needing, wanting and lusting over MAC lipsticks for a super long time and then recently I found out I had won a giveaway that was hosted by Dee from deesbeautifullife. The prize was a MAC lipstick of the winners choice, yayyyy I was ecstatic, as not only had I finally won a giveaway ( as I never seem to win anything ) but this also meant I would finally be the proud owner of a MAC lipstick ha ha.
The MAC lipstick I chose was Viva Glam I and my goodness its a beauty!!! Viva Glam I is a deep red shade with brown undertones and is matte in texture, it's certainly the perfect shade for the winter and over the festive period. As Viva Glam I is a matte lipstick I did worry that it would be super drying on the lips but surprisingly it isn't, it also applies really well without the lipstick bullet snagging or pulling on the lips, as I usually find most matte lipsticks tend to do that as they're slightly harder. The pigmentation of Viva Glam I is incredible, it certainly has that wow factor when you first apply it as its just so pigmented, it also makes your teeth look super white when you wear it which I think is fab, everyone loves their teeth looking white don't they? As for the lipsticks lasting power... On me it seems to last forever, I recently had my work Christmas Party and I wore Viva Glam I all night, I ate a 3 course meal (I'm such a piggy) and was drinking for the rest of the evening and it didn't budge at all.
Overall I'm super impressed with the MAC Viva Glam I lipstick, its definitely got me wanted to try more MAC lipsticks that's for sure ha ha. If your a red tone lipstick lover like me I would highly recommend Viva Glam I, you'll love it!!!
