Degustabox Review + £5 off Discount Code

Hey beaut's!

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 10 to 15 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!
Firstly this month we have a yummy bag of Smarties & Milkybar Mixed Mini Eggs (£3.00), what a lovely Easter treat! I must admit I didn't even know these where even a thing until I opened my Degustbox and saw them sitting there all proud waiting to be scoffed, they where so nice!
Next up is something a little healthier than the mini eggs and that's this little Hafervoll Flapjack (£1.99)! Hafervoll Flapjacks are actually the first 100% natural oat bars and don't contain any nasty's like sugar and chemical additives, it was so tasty and actually rather filling!
Then we have Mr Lee's Noodles (£2.99), I call these yummy pots a posh Pot Noodle he he! I had the Dragon Fire Vegetable flavour which was rather spicy for me but that's because I'm such a wimp when it comes to spice however it was still super yummy, and what I love about these noodles is that their gluten free, vegan friendly, low in calories and low in sugar!
We absolutely love pasta in our house and I'm always rustling up pasta dishes so this Cirio Pasta Sauce (£2.00) wont last long at all. I have the Parmesan flavour and it's so easy to use, you simply warm it through and mix it through your pasta and voila!
Then we had a can of Tenzing Natural Energy Drink (£1.19), this is a great 'pick me up' drink that isn't bad for you or full of sugar like normal energy drinks, it actually only contains six natural ingredients which is so impressive! Oddly this did taste and smell exactly like Red Bull but is so much better for you than that stuff!
The next yummy treat within the March box was this delicious Canny 100% Natural Chocolate Milk (£1.59), my goodness this was good and I love the fact it's all natural because I didn't feel too naughty whilst I drank it he he!
I do love a glass of Ribena (£2.49) but I have never ever tried the pineapple and passion fruit flavour so I'm looking forward to seeing what this is like, I can imagine it being so refreshing on a hot summers day in a huge jug with lots of ice, yum!
The next item comes with a warning so I will never be trying this ha ha, it's a bottle of Encona Carolina Reaper Chilli Sauce (£1.49) and as I said earlier on - me and spicy foods are not friends and this bad boy has a blend of the worlds hottest chilli within it so I'll be giving it a miss and giving it to someone who's more brave than me ha ha! If you are a lover of all things hot and spicy then this sauce can work as a marinade for meat or as a dipping sauce!
I absolutely love Shreddies MAX Granola (£2.59), I buy it a lot on my weekly food shop so getting a box in my Degustabox was a right brucie bonus! If you haven't tried these before it's a yummy combination of crunchy oat clusters and shreddie pieces, their divine with yogurt and fruit as well as milk!
Finally this month we received a three pack of Appy Kids Co Roald Dahl Fruit Drinks (1.29), these are great for kids lunch boxes but if your an adult they will be gone in one or two yummy mouthfuls he he!

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop 039DB into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £5.00 discount when registering making your first box just £7.99. What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's? I'd love to know your thoughts!

 Hi beaut's...

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself  and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's! I have to say that over the last few months the contents of each box really has been amazing, I literally cant wait to tuck in and this months BBQ themed box has me drooling!

This month we have 12 yummy items to sink our teeth into starting with the Degustabox product of the month which is a sharing bag of the new Butterkist Yogurt Coated Popcorn £1.49. I had no idea what to expect from these, I mean yogurt on popcorn is something I'd never even think of but wow these are yummy, the yogurt coating is so creamy and tasty and makes such a nice change to regular popcorn. Then we have the Destrooper-Oliver Belgian Butter Waffle Crisps £1.10. I am a biscuit addict and despite being called waffle crisps these are actually more like a super tasty wafer biscuits, they are great to dip into your tea or coffee and also go hand in hand with ice cream. Next up is the Schwartz American Smokehouse Homemade Burger Mix £1.49. I think this burger mix is one of my favourite things in this months box, it makes your homemade burgers not only super juicy but oh so tasty and it couldn't be easier to use either!

Theres quite a few cupboard items in this months box starting with the Haywards Silverskin Pickled Onions £1.89. These are a great accompaniment to a cheese board or a BBQ salad, oh I do love a pickled onion he he. Then we have the Branston Spicy Tomato Relish £1.65. This will go hand in hand with the homemade burger mix featured above, it can also be used as an alternative to ketchup and for general dipping! Onto the strangest thing in this months box the Miracle Noodles £2.49. Miracle Noodles are a premier low calorie, soy free, gluten free, vegan and non gmo, Kosher noodle. These noodles actually come in bag that feels like it's filled with water, it feels so strange and I'm not sure how I'm going to use them yet but I'll make them work some how!

Moving onto some sweeter things in this month box I have some yummy Smooze Mango and Coconut Fruit Ice £2.50. These are a freeze at home fruit ice lolly that are made from all natural ingredients including 40% coconut milk and 50% fresh fruit juice and puree, these are delicious and so fruity, I love them! Next up is the Bakedin Mug Brownie Mix £1.50. I cant wait to give this a whirl, I mean I adore brownies and the fact that I can make one in the microwave in just two minutes excites me a lot!

Theres only a couple of drinks in this months box starting with the Zeo Cloudy Lemon £2.75. This stuff is absolutely lovely and so refreshing, it's made with 98% spring water blended with naturally extracted flesh from lemons and I love it, it tastes best chilled in the fridge and if you pop some ice in your glass it's even better. We also have an alcoholic option this month of Marstons King Star Lager £1.70. This is classed as a big and bold lager that's laced with flavour, this will go down a treat with the boyfriend whilst he's watching the Euros I'm sure he he. Lastly this month is a can of Heinz Amoy Coconut Milk £1.99. Now I know this isn't technically a drink but it can be used to add flavour and richness in curries and Asian dishes as well and desserts.

April Glossybox Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossy box time!!! This month we have the 'Spring Preening' box, a Spring theme that sees Glossy box help us refresh our beauty regime from finishing touches to exciting new beauty innovations! I'm actually happier with this months contents than last months, theres four full size products and only one sample this time around and everything inside my box I'll certainly use which is always a good thing! I am still considering changing beauty boxes for a little while though or even cancelling because I feel Glossy box isn't quite as good as it used to be, so if you have any beauty box recommendations please do let me know!

Next Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby Stick in Cherry Red | Full Size | £8.00
Firstly this month I have the Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby Stick in Cherry Red by Next! I've given this a whirl and I love the formula, it feels so moisturising on the lips just like a lip balm and is so pigmented just like a lipstick! I would certainly buy one of these if they have more everyday, wearable shades as the Cherry Red is very intense but all in all I was pleasantly surprised by this!

Leighton Denny Expert Nails Miracle Mist | Full Size | £12.00
Next up I have the Leighton Denny Expert Nails Miracle Mist, I'm so excited to try this because it claims to make your nail polish dry to the touch in mere seconds and if theres one thing I hate it's waiting for nail polish to dry so if this works I'll be super impressed!

Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner | Full Size | £22.00
Then I have the Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner, this double ended brow pencil comes equipped with a defining brow shade at one end and a brightening highlighter shade at the other to really help sculpt out those brows! I must admit I'm definitely more of a brow powder girl but I'm up for trying something new so will be sure to give this a whirl!

Swiss Smile Whitening Toothpaste | Full Size | £28.95
Firstly when did toothpaste become a 'thing' in beauty boxes and secondly this tube is worth a whopping £28.95, yup that's right £28.95 for toothpaste my goodness!!!! I've been using this whitening toothpaste ever since I got it in my box and it does the job, as for the whitening aspect I cant really comment as of yet as I'm guessing that will happen over time but for the price I'm expecting a bright white smile very soon!

The Body Shop Oils Of Life | Sample | Full Size £28.00
Lastly this month I got a sample of The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, this is actually Body Shops best selling oil and claims to totally revive our complexion, I've been using this before bed since I got my box and it does give my face a dose of moisture and makes my skin soooo soft so I'll definitely be using all of this up!

What did you think of this month's box beaut's? I'd love to know.
