Benefit Ready, Set, Brow! Review

You may have seen that at the beginning of June I reviewed the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil that I got free in the July edition of Elle Magazine, this coincided with Benefit's huge brow product launch which was on the 24th of June where a whopping 13 brow products where released. Well Benefit have been at it again and have spoilt us with another freebie, this time it's a deluxe size sample of their NEW Ready, Set, Brow Gel which is in the August edition of Marie Claire magazine, so if you don't have it yet beaut's then run out and get a copy now!

Benefits Ready, Set, Brow (£18.50) is a clear brow gel designed to shape, seal and set brows in place all day. Now I'm a huge brow gel fan, I have quite naughty, unruly brow hairs that I have to set into place everyday after I've filling them in so I couldn't wait to give this new brow gel from Benefit a whirl, plus I always use drugstore brow gels so I really wanted to compare and see if there was much of a difference.

After giving this brow gel a whirl I have to say I do really like it, the formula is really easy to work with and the custom-molded dual-sided wand catches all my unruly brow hairs coating them evenly with the brow gel. The gel sets relatively quickly and doesn't feel super wet or sticky in the slightest, it's super undetectable too, usually I can always see where my drugstore brow gels have set on my brow hairs but with benefits offering I cant see the formula at all, it's like it's invisible. The lasting power is faultless, my brows simply look the same at night when I take my makeup off as they did in the morning when I first applied the gel.

Overall I'm super impressed with the Ready, Set, Brow Gel by Benefit, it's quick and easy to use, super long lasting and flake free, undetectable on the brows yet they are set into place all day and the packaging is stunning too, I'd highly recommend picking the magazine up to try this little beauty.
