Hey beaut's!
I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your abit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!
Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my October Degustabox...
Solo Toasted Marshmallow Creme £1.99
I have to start off with something I'm extremely excited about firstly because it's a US brand and secondly because it reminded me of Fluff, the American sweet marshmallow spread. The Solo Toasted Marshmallow is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth like myself and can be used in so many ways, personally I think its going to be great to bake with over the festive season he he.
Jelly Belly Assorted Flavours £2.50
Wow Degustabox are spoiling us with the US brands this month aren't they... I love Jelly Beans so I cant wait to tuck into these, they'll go down a treat when me and my boyfriend have our movie nights he he.
Dr. Oetker Extra Dark Chocolate £2.49 and Dr. Oetker Cocoa Powder Sachets x3 £1.89
We seem to get something from Dr. Oetker most months but I'm not complaining because I bake ALOT! I cant wait to see what chocolaty treats I can come up with, with these!
Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce x2 £1.39
Wow not one but two bottles of sweet chilli sauce to satisfy the taste buds ha ha. I do love a good dipping sauce so these bottles will get used up quick.
Kent's Kitchen Bengal Meal Kit £2.50
Kent's Kitchen is a brand I'm new too but very excited about as these little meal kits sound great and look easy to use. I got the 'Bengal' meal kit which is a curry dish, I love me some home made curry! The kit works in 3 steps, you get a pot of garlic infused oil, a pot of curry spices and a pot of Bengal curry paste and on the back they have included a handy recipe that takes just 20 minutes, perfect.
Enhance Orange and Passion Fruit Drink £2.49This juice drink really intrigues me because the bottle is absolutely tiny yet you can get 32 drinks out of it??? Enhance Drinks claim to be fabulous, packed with natural flavour and are designed especially for an adult palate, they are made with real fruit juice, have no added sugar and contain just 1 calorie per drink, wowza!
Kellogg's Special K Cracker Crisps Barbecue Flavour
I love Special K cereals but Ive never tried any of their savoury snacks before so I'm excited to give these a go, its a nice big sharing bag too so again these will be perfect for movie nights.
Brioche Pasquier Pain Au Lait £1.60 and and Brioche Pasquier Sliced Brioche Loaf £1.69
I love Brioche Pasquier as a brand so I'm so happy to see two more treats from them again this month, the Pain Au Lait with Choc Chips are ideal if you want a quick sweet snack and are great for breakfast with a big cup of tea. The Sliced Brioche Loaf can be used in lots of different ways but I think it would be perfect for making a Bread and Butter Pudding as the bread is quite sweet, mmmm yummy.
Bear Dino Paws Pure Fruit Shapes £0.55 and Bear Alpha Bites Cereal (Sample Present)
The 'Bear' brand is new to me so its nice to have two little treats to try, the cereal sample contains lots of little letters so I think kids will love it and the pure fruit shapes sound delicious. I love the fact this brand has the moto of 'no added nonsence' , everything is really good for you and contains no salt, no refined sugar and are naturally high in calcium.
Get Buzzing Original Nutty Energy Bar £1.30
The Get Buzzing Original Nutty Energy Bar was quickly demolished by my boyfriend as he loves nutty foods and I don't, he said it was delicious and very much like a flapjack. The Get Buzzing brand sounds fantastic as they produce 100% natural energy bars, usually energy bars are packed full of sugars and nasties so it's definitely a brand to look out for if your into healthy eating.
Degustabox Fridge | Benecol Greek Style Yogurt
And lastly Degustabox Fridge is back... This is only the second time we've had a fridge item and this month it's a voucher to get any Benecol Greek Style Yogurt 4 pack for free... I havent been to get mine yet but I have my eye on the Summer Fruits pack, yum!
Overall I love everything in my Degustabox this month, I love the US goodies that we received and we even got a 10% off voucher for an American food site which is dangerous in my hands ha ha! All in all I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.
Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop VJVT4 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a £3.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!
What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.
