March Degustabox Review + Discount Code

Hey beaut's!

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your abit of a foodie like myself  and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!

Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my March Degustabox...
Lindt Assorted Mini Eggs x2 £2.00 Each
The first thing I got super excited about in my March Degustabox was these two bags of Lindt Mini Eggs, I'm such a chocoholic and Lindt chocolate is just so tasty and by far the best. It's fair to say they went down an absolute treat over Easter, mmm so yummy!

Jordan's Lighter Granola £3.69
I do love granola but sometimes it's packed full of hidden sugars so I love the fact that Jordan's have made a new lighter version that contains all natural ingredients and that's high in fibre too. I cant wait to give this a try, it will be perfect for breakfast in the mornings with some yogurt and fresh fruit.

Bassetts Jelly Babies Berry Mix £1.48
The lovelies over at Degustabox have really been generous with the sweet treats this month haven't they ha ha. Jelly Babies always go down a treat with me whilst watching a movie but what I love so much about this packet is that Bassetts have now made an all berry mix, this makes me very happy because they are always my favourite flavours in any sweeties.

Sour Patch Kids £1.00
I must admit I'm not a huge fan of sour sweets but if you do like them then this bag of Sour Patch Kids will go down well with you, I have given them a quick try and they where yummy, they are basically sour coated wine gums but because they are sour I can only handle one or two ha ha.

Kent's Kitchen Posh Noodles £1.75
Kent's Kitchen is a brand we see feature alot in Degustabox, we usually get their spice sets which are amazing but this time I received their posh noodles. The posh noodles are great for lunch on the go and are basically a healthier version of a pot noodle, they are made with all natural ingredients, are low in fat and low in calories and taste awesome.

Natvia £2.00
Natvia is something I'm very familiar with as we use it all the time in our house for Tea and Coffee, it's 100% naturally sourced alternative to artificial sweeteners and sugars and contains zero calories per serving.

Baked Bread Bites Bacon Flavour x2 50p Each
These baked bread bites by Brioche Pasquier are the new alternative snack to crisps. They are made with real french bread, are low in saturated fat and are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Personally I think these sound a great idea, especially if your trying to give up crisps but still want something similar.

BBQUE £3.99
I'm obsessed with BBQ Sauce and I have to say this one by BBQUE is amazing!!! It's made with a blend of beer, honey, apples and cranberries which make it so tasty and it's ideal for using as either a marinade for your meat or just as a dipping sauce for your chips and wedges.

Juice burst x2 £1.25 Each
These two drinks by Juice burst got drank as soon as my Degustabox arrived because they just looked so amazing and since I've drank them I can tell you they taste amazing too. They are soooo fruity and really refreshing especially with lots of ice mmmm.

Crabbie's Alcoholic Fruits x2 £1.50
Crabbie's have recently launched a new range of alcoholic fruits and Degustabox have popped two in our boxes for us to try, I got Raspberry & Rhubarb and Black Cherry which both sound super tasty and right up my street, especially the Black Cherry. I feel like this new range is very summery too so perfect for the up and coming BBQ season he he.

Overall I love Degustabox, I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop WRTC0 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a £3.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!

What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.

W7 Makeup Brushes | Reviewed

Hey beaut's!

Over the last couple of months I've seen W7 featured quite heavily in the beauty world, they seem to be releasing some great makeup treats for us beauties including a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette, some fantastic looking boxed blushers which are dupes for the ever so popular Benefit boxed powders and they are even branching out into the depths of skincare too, wowza! If that wasn't enough I've heard some amazing things about their makeup brushes so I couldn't wait to try a few out and see if they lived up to the hype that I had been hearing....
All of the W7 Professional Makeup Brushes have lovely, solid, wooden handles with black, metal ferrule's which I really like, they fit perfectly in my hands and are weighted enough for easy application. The bristles of all the W7 makeup brushes are synthetic and feel so amazingly soft, this pleasantly surprised me because I expected something totally different from a budget beauty brand. I have washed all the brushes that I've been road testing once and I haven't experienced any shedding as of yet which is any good sign and the handles easily wipe clean with a makeup wipe keeping them in tip top condition.

W7 Professional Face Blender Brush* £5.99
I'm kicking things off with the Face Blender Brush, this brush is my absolute favourite out of the six brushes I've tried to far and I'd even go as far as saying it's one of my all time favourite brushes ever, say what!!!! But why do I love this makeup brush so much? Because it's the absolute queen of all brushes when it comes to contouring! The bristles of the brush are uniquely shaped into a narrow, angled style meaning it fits perfectly under the cheekbone's, down the sides on your nose and around the jawline and moves back and forth effortlessly blending either powder or cream contour beautifully. Whether your new to contouring or not you need this brush, it makes your life so much easier, so say hello to your inner Kim K he he.

W7 Professional Angled Blusher Brush* £4.49
The Angled Blusher Brush has been a little beauty at applying my blusher recently, it's just the perfect size for sweeping the blush on the apples of my cheeks and really blends my blush leaving me with a soft, even, natural looking finish which I love. You could also use the Angled Blush Brush for contouring and to apply bronzer.

W7 Professional Sculpturing Face Brush* £4.99
The Sculpting Face Brush is a great all rounder and definitely and brush all of us girls need in our life. It has a multitude of uses including applying and buffing in liquid, cream or powder foundation, applying a setting powder to finish a look off or you can use it my favourite way which is to use it to bronze, bronze, bronze!! I just find the size and the shape of the Sculpting Face Brush amazing at bronzing up the skin in all the right places and it blends out everything a dream, it's definitely my new favourite bronzing brush!

W7 Professional Angled Foundation Brush* £2.99
I must admit I'm never a fan of these flat angled foundation brushes when it comes to foundation application but that's just my personal preference. I actually always save these type of brushes for when I go on a nigh out and I want to go mad with my cream contour and highlight, I just find that the slimness of the angled foundation brushes apply perfect stripes of the cream contour/highlight evenly before I buff everything in with a larger foundation brush. You could always use the Angled Foundation Brush for applying BB/CC Creams working from you nose outwards.

W7 Professional Sponge Make-Up Applicator* £4.49
Next we have the Sponge Make-Up Applicator, this is similar to a beauty blender but is attached to a brush handle he he. I do find this tool slightly bizarre because it's made for foundation application which I've tried and failed miserably with, it just doesn't work at all with foundation however.... It is very good at blending in concealer, I like to slightly dampen the sponge with a spray bottle filled with water and use the flat side and the point of the sponge to really pat in my concealer and then I use the bouncy, rounder side of the sponge to blend everything flawlessly just like I would with your average beauty blender. The 3 different angles of the sponge do work amazingly around the eye area, the point allows you to get right into the inner corners of the eyes, the flat side can get right under the lower lash liner and the round side can blend everything in around the entire eye area.

W7 Professional Precision Eyeliner Brush* £2.49
And lastly we have the Precision Eyeliner Brush, this brush is great at achieving perfect winged liner with a eyeliner cream/gel, the bristles are sturdy enough to create sharp lines but soft enough for easy application and flexibility. I've also used this brush as a lip brush and it works really well at defining around your lips especially the cupids bow which I love.

Overall I've really enjoyed road testing and experimenting with these W7 brushes, I absolutely adore the Face Blender Brush for contouring it's definitely my favourite brush to use at the moment. It just proves that you don't have to spend silly amounts of money to find amazing makeup brushes, the W7 range is so affordable and I really like all the brushes Ive tried so far.

All of the W7 Professinal Makeup Brushes are availble on the Xtra's Online website!

Have you tried any of the W7 Makeup Brushes beaut's?? Which one is your favourite?? I'd love to know!!
