Hey girlie's!!!
At Christmas my Mum surprised me with a couple of MAC goodies that I knew nothing about, and within the goodies was a beautiful lippie, Eeeek!!! I was so excited as this is only my 2nd MAC lipstick and since winning my first one (reviewed here) I have really fallen in love with MAC's amazing quality lippie's.
The lipstick shade my Mum picked out for me is Viva Glam V, and I love it!!! Viva Glam V is a sheer neutral pinked brown shade which has some slight golden shimmers running through it, its also a lustre finish meaning it gives you a gentle sheen finish to the lips instead of intense colour. I must admit when I first opened up Viva Glam V I wasn't completely sold as it looked so brown but after using it I'm totally in love with its natural gorgeousness!!!
Viva Glam V really does sit on the lips well, its really soft, creamy and moisturising and applies really well too, without pulling or snagging on my lips. The lipstick lasts on me a good couple of hours, so its not as long lasting as your typical MAC lipstick but I think the fact its a very neutral shade therefore it doesn't stain the lips is a key factor in its lasting power ability. As always with MAC lipsticks the formula is paraben free and has a gorgeous vanilla scent to it, mmm yum!!!
Yet again I'm super impressed with another MAC lipstick and Viva Glam V has definitely got me wanted to get a MAC lipstick collection going that's for sure ha ha. If your a neutral lipstick lover I would highly recommend Viva Glam V, it's just perfect for everyday wear and even for nights out if you've gone really heavy on the eyes, you'll honestly love it!!!
You can find Viva Glam V on the MAC Cosmetics website for £15.00 and the most amazing thing is that for each sale of MAC Viva Glam Lipstick or Lipglass, the full RRP from the sale of the lipstick or lipglass is paid to the MAC Aids Fund and goes towards helping women, men and children everywhere affected by HIV and AIDS.
Have you tried any of the Viva Glam lipstick before??? Whats your favourite shade??? I'd love to know.
