My Netflix Top 10!

Hey beaut's!

I'm soooo addicted to Netflix ya know guys and gals, I seem to watch sooooo many things on there, but I mean who doesn't love a relaxed evening (or day off lol) all cosy on the sofa filled with endless things to choose from on Netflix and plenty of sweets to gorge on...I know I do, so here's my top 10 Netflix favourites as it stands at the moment!

To All The Boys I've Loved Before - This is probably my favourite Netflix original film, its focused on Lara Jean a sixteen year old student who has written love letters to all of her crushes whilst she was growing up, the letters then accidentally get sent out and she has to deal with the aftermath. It's a real teen, rom-com film which are my absolute favourite, theres plenty of sweet moments and it really gets you wanting certain relationships to form.

Gavin & Stacey - If your after something a bit light-hearted that will have you lol'ing then Gavin and Stacey will really hit the spot. I can honestly watch these series over and over and still laugh every time, and theres a Christmas special on Netflix too which I have to admit I watch all year round, it's got me so exited for this years Christmas special I tell ya!

Sierra Burgess Is A Loser - Another Netflix original rom/com which I totally love! It's basically a cute catfish if that's ever a thing lol, it sees Sierra Burgess - a student who isn’t part of the cool crowd - text Jamey who has a crush on the most popular girl in Sierra's school - Veronica! Veronica pretends to give her number to Jamey (who thinks all of his Christmas' have come at once) but actually she's given him Sierra's number, Jamey starts texting who he thinks is Veronica when in fact it's Sierra, hopefully you get the gist!

After Life - Now I love this series, it really takes you through all the motions I tell ya, I went from crying to laughing to nearly spitting my tea out in pure shock of some of the lines that the delightful Ricky Gervais has! It's dark-humour but honestly I cant recommend this season enough!

Riverdale - This is my current Netflix watch and I've managed to binge season one and two in a week and a half, I'm obsessed! Riverdale is an American teen drama/mystery series based on the characters of Archie Comics, I love how it keeps you guessing and wondering all the time, it really has you routing for different characters too, I love it and have just started season three!

Stranger Things - Who else is chomping at the bit for Stranger things to return, For those of you who haven't seen Stranger Things (um get to it girl ), it's a thrilling drama which is set in 1983 and has a slight goonies feel whilst also being slightly creepy but I was absolutely hooked from the very first episode, I would highly recommend giving it a go if you haven't already!

You - I actually watched the entire series of You in two days, once I started the series I literally couldn't stop watching and I have to say as creepy as the series is in parts I really enjoyed it and I cant wait to see what happens in the second season!

Power - My goodness this is an epic show, it's basically a super intense drug, crime, drama that's based around a guy called James St Patrick or 'Ghost' as he's known in the drug world. Ghost is a pretty big deal in the drug world but is trying to get his life back on track but certain things drag him back down to that gritty lifestyle all the time, it also surrounds his family, children and best friend Tommy who all play a part! Roll on season 6 in August!

13 Reasons Why - This is quite a hard watch at times but wow I think all should watch this, especially the younger generation! It's a huge eye opener and the story is told so well, I've watched both seasons and hoping for season three to come on Netflix soon.

Sex Education - Ok Sex Education is great, I'm not going to lie it did take me a couple of episodes to get into, for me it wasn't a series that grabbed me from the off but once I was a few eps in I loved it! It discusses taboo subjects and takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and you get really invested in the characters.

What are your Netlfix favourites? What should I watch next? I'd love to know!

What I've Watched On Netflix Recently!

Hey beaut's!

I think I'm actually a little bit addicted to Netflix ya know guys and gals, I seem to be watching so many things on there recently, but I mean who doesn't love a relaxed evening (or day off lol) all cosy on the sofa filled with endless things to choose from on Netflix and plenty of sweets to gorge on...I know I do, so here's what I've competed recently!

Sex Education - Ok Sex Education did take me a couple of episodes to get into, for me it wasn't a series that grabbed me from the off but once I was a few eps in I loved it! It's all about socially awkward high school student Otis and bad girl Maeve who set up their very own sex therapy clinic to deal with their classmates problems. The thing is Otis isn't exactly experienced in the lovemaking department himself, but he gets good guidance on the topic in his personal sex ed course -- by living with mum Jean, who is a sex therapist. Being surrounded by manuals, videos and conversations about sex at home, Otis becomes quite an expert on the subject and him and Maeve start earning some good money from all the advice Otis is giving. It's a funny series but serious in parts, it discusses taboo subjects and takes you on a rollar coaster of emotions, I really enjoyed it in the end!

13 Reasons Why Season 2 - Finally I got around to watching this and to be honest I think it took me a while because it can be quite intense to watch. Season 2 picks up five months after Hannah's death and at the start of students complicated journeys towards healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, with each episode focusing on one student at a time, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah's death concealed. It's quite emotional at times, and the last episode of the season was actually really brutal!

Punisher Season 2 - I absolutely LOVE the Punisher and season two for me was so much better than the first season, and that's really saying something because I loved the first season! Season two starts off with Frank Castle living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes involved in the attempted murder of a young girl. As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Frank obviously attracts a new target on his back as well as an old enemy too! It's such a kick arse series, it's definitely quite gory in places, more so than season 1 but the story throughout is amazing and I love seeing the real protective side of Frank too.

Let me know if you’ve watched any of these TV shows beaut's and if you enjoyed them, also I'd love some more Netflix recommendations too!

Blogmas Day 23 - TV Christmas Specials I'll Be Watching

Hey beaut's!

Welcome to blogmas day twenty three... At Christmas I always look forward to buying my TV Times magazine and highlighting all the TV shows that I want to watch this Christmas, so today I thought I'd share with you all the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing.

The Great Christmas Bake Off - Christmas Day 4.45pm and Boxing Day 7.00pm
I adore the Great British Bake Off so I'm seriously looking forward to seeing this Christmas addition, we not only see past bakers return to the tent to create some festive treats but it also sees Mary Berry, Mel and Sue's last time on the bake off, it will be great and sad at the same time!

Eastenders - Christmas Day 9.25pm
The soaps at Christmas are always incredible, something always goes drastically wrong on a soap on Christmas Day doesn't it and I think it's fair to say we all love it.

Mrs Brown's Boys - Christmas Day 10.30pm
Mrs Brown's Boys never fails to get me in ball on the floor laughing my head off, this year we have a Christmas Day and a New Years Day special to keep us entertained, I cant wait.

Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special - Christmas Day 6.45pm
I'm missing strictly so much already so the Christmas special on Christmas Day cant come quick enough for me.

The Only Way Is Essexmas - Sunday 18th 10.00pm and Wednesday 21st 10.00pm
I adore reality TV but hardly any of them actually do Christmas specials apart from TOWIE, I cant wait to see what else has happened with Megan and Pete since the last season.

As well as all those above I cant wait for the Birds of a Feather special, Call The Midwife, Outnumbered and of course loads of Christmas movies!

What Christmas Specials will you be watching this year beaut's? I'd love to know!
