AD - My Birthday + Gift Ideas From Moonpig

Yesterday it was my BIRTHDAY!!! Yay!!! I must admit my birthday felt a little bit strange this year, firstly because it was on a Bank Holiday and secondly theres still a global pandemic going on which still scares the life out of me and I have to admit it's put me off going out a lot still, I'll get there though I'm sure! 

So this year I decided to have a birthday at home, usually me and Michael (my boyfriend) go into Norwich shopping and then go out for a meal but actually I loved having a birthday at home. Me and Michael played Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit and Dobble, all of which are my favourites, Michael cooked me a lovely steak dinner, we went on a walk with the dog, I had family pop over during the day and in the evening we got snug and watched a couple of films.

As always I was super lucky with gifts from my family and friends but I also received some amazing gifts from Moonpig. I have to admit I didn't realise Moonpig had so many amazing gifts to choose from, I always think of them as my first port of call for cards but actually the gifts section is really impressive! They have everything from chocolate and sweet to bouquets of flowers, hampers, board games and home ware, theres honestly so much to choose from.

I also received a *Rainbow Cake Kit, and can you believe I've never made a rainbow cake before so I'm so excited to give this a go, it contains everything you need from the ingredients to the tins, baking paper and the sprinkles, genius! I also got a *Yankee Candle In *Sweet Honeycomb which smells divine and finally I received a *Sweetie Jar, filled with loads of nostalgic sweets, you cant go wrong with a sherbet flying saucer can you he he!
