PMD Clean Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm hugely into skincare and looking after my skin these days, I think it's because I'm getting that bit older now and I've realised how important it is to have a good skincare routine in place. Whilst I've been perfecting my skincare routine I've been also been trailing and testing the PMD Clean* - a smart cleansing device - so I thought I'd share with you how I've been finding the results today!

Its no secret that I love PMD as I brand, I have their Kiss Lip Plumping System which works an absolute treat so I was so excited to try a skincare device out by them! The PMD Clean is a smart facial cleansing device which is made of ultra-hygienic silicone and is odour-resistant, antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and waterproof, so you can take it in the bath or shower with you without a care in the world! With SonicGlow™ technology the PMD Clean removes skin’s impurities by breaking down dirt and oil from within the pores resulting in a much deeper cleanse whilst also toning, firming and smoothing the skin!
The ultra-hygienic brush head has two sides, one for cleansing which is made up of small bristles to deliver a deep cleanse, while the other side has a more wave-like appearance which can be used to massage the skin or to work serums in which I think is super clever and feels like such a treat! The device itself has four customisable modes and over 7,000 vibrations per minute, woah there. Theres two vibrating settings - one at a normal speed and the other faster - and two pulsing settings again one at normal speed and the other faster, all of which I love, I actually go through all the settings whilst cleansing as I don't like to miss out on anything (lol) but obviously you might find a favourite setting that works for you more than the others.
The way I like to use the PMD Clean personally is by whacking on my normal cleanser all over my face - my personal faves are either my Liz Earle Cleanser and Polish or my Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm - then I simply rinse the brush head under warm water and massage the device all over my face working through the different settings, once I'm satisfied I just rinse my cleanser off with a flannel and warm water and voila! I also have to add that it doesn't hurt to use and it doesn't feel scratchy at all so if you have slightly sensitive skin you don't need to worry! It does really stimulate the skin too, I can visually see the blood flow increasing as my skin does go a little red whilst I'm using it but I like that about the device, at least you can see it really working!
It's a battery operated device and requires 2 AA batteries so theres no need for long wires or waiting on charging, all you need are a couple of batteries on stand by for when the two that are included run out! It's freestanding too and doesn't take up any room at all and isn't it so cute, I have the baby pink one which has rose gold accents at the base which I love but their are other colours available too.

I've been using the PMD Clean for around a month or so now and I have to say I'm loving the results, my skin does indeed feel a lot smoother and supple now and when I first starting using it - it brought up a cluster of blackheads around chin which I never knew existed so I'm pleased their now gone. Overall I feel like it does a fantastic job at giving my skin a super deep cleanse and my skin has looked so fresh a polished since using it!

You can find the PMD Clean HERE for £89.00!

Degustabox Review + £5 off Discount Code!

Hey beaut's!

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 10 to 15 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!
Firstly this month we have not one but three YES! Fruit and Nut Bars to try (£1.20), these are perfect for snacking on the go as you can just throw them in your handbag and eat them wherever and whenever! Each bar contains one of your five a day and had no added sugar, only the natural sugars so their not too bad on the waistline either he he!
Next up is some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (89p), my boyfriend absolutely loves Reese's so these went down an absolute treat with him, I mean whats not to love about peanut butter smothered in chocolate!
Then we have a bag of CHOC CHICK Cacao Nibbles (£1.85), I've heard a lot of good things about cacao, it's 100% organic cocoa which is packed full of anti-oxidants, magnesium, iron and is a powerful probiotic so yeah, as you can see it's pretty good stuff. You can have these nibs as a snack on your desk, sprinkled over porridge and they can even been used in healthier baking recipes and smoothies too!
Next up is a box of Jules Destrooper Butter Crisps (£1.80), these are yummy buttery cookies that have a slight caramelised taste to them, their absolutely gorgeous with a cuppa!
Then we have a bag of Indie Bay Pretzel Bites (99p), these are baked spelt and wheat pretzel bites with a smokey BBQ seasoning. I loved these because I'm a fan of anything pretzel like and BBQ so putting the combination together was a complete winner for me, their the perfect movie time snack!
Then theres a sharing bag of Mallow & Marsh Raspberry Marshmallows (£2.79), I'm a huge lover of marshmallows but I've never tried anything like these raspberry mallows which are covered in dark chocolate by the way, and I can confirm these are totally delish!
Next up is a bag of Dr. Karg's Tomato & Mozzarella Wholegrain Snacks (£1.60), these are so good to have in the office if your a real snacker but want to cut out snacking on the sweet stuff, their so moreish that once you start you just cant stop so be warned he he!
Next we've got some Good Hemp Seed Hearts (£3.99), these can be used in baking, for toppings and sprinkling on stir fries, salads and yogurt and will add a dose of protein, fibre and omega 3!
I love Oreos and I love hot chocolate so the fact theres a tub of Cadbury Oreo Instant Hot Chocolate (£2.99) inside this months box made me very happy, it's now that time of the year where I'm drinking lots of hot chocolates on cold autumnal days so I cant see this tub lasting long in my house!
We then got a can of Juicy Fuel Cola (£1.50), this cola is 100% natural  with no added sugar or chemicals and I was super intrigued to try it, it actually has the same taste as those gummy cola bottle sweets you get in the sweet shop but it's in liquid form he he!
Theres one alcoholic beverage in this months box and that a Jack Daniel's Tennessee Cider (£2.29), this is a yummy combination of crisp apple cider and smooth Jack Danial's whiskey, it's so good!
Finally this month we have a big bottle of a2 Long Life Whole Cow's Milk (£1.50)! a2 milk is a natural cows milk with a difference, it's naturally free from the A1 protein found in regular cows milk so it's much better and gentler on the tummy! It's always good to have a bottle of long life milk in the cupboard for emergencies!

If you like the look and sound of Degustabox you can grab your first box for just £7.99 with the code 039DB HERE
