NCLA 'I Only Fly Private' Nail Lacquer Review

Hey beaut's!

A few weeks back in my March Glossybox I received an NCLA nail
lacquer in the shade 'I Only Fly Private' (£13.00), I was super happy to see the nail lacquer in my box because I'd heard such great things about the American brand 'NCLA' and was eager to try it out for myself.
What's so great about all of the luxury NCLA nail lacquers is that their formula is 100% free of DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde resin, Camphor and are never tested on animals, making them alot better for our nails than regular nail polishes, woohoo! The NCLA nail lacquers come in a huge variety of shades, finishes and textures and are all housed in square, glass, 15ml bottles and have an easy to use dupont flat brush attached to the square screw up lid.
As I mentioned before I received the shade 'I Only Fly Private' which is a neon-pastel orange shade, perfect for the Spring and Summer months ahead. I found the NCLA formula very easy to work with, it's lovely and creamy and applies smooth with no bubbling what so ever and drys rapidly, I do find the first coat applies abit streaky here and there but the second coat really seals the deal and makes the streaks disappear and leaves you with full opacity and a gorgeous glossy shine. As for lasting power.... NCLA claim there nail lacquers have a chip free formula, I definitely wouldn't say they are chip free but I had 'I Only Fly Private' on my nails four whole days before I noticed a slight chip and considering I'm very heavy with my hands at work and at home I think that pretty good!
Overall I do really like the NCLA nail lacquers, the formula is good, they last a good amount of time on my nails before chipping, the colour range is amazing and the fact the formula is better for our nails than regular nail polishes is a huge bonus.

Have you tried any of the NCLA Nail Lacquers beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!!

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balm Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

I've really been getting back into MUA's lip products again recently, they have released some lovely new makeup bits for Spring/Summer and their Sweet Sheen Lip Balms really caught my eye so I just knew I'd have buy one to try and ever since I've been obsessed!
MUA's Sweet Sheen Lip Balms are soft balm's that moisturise the lips whilst also adding a subtle pop of colour, these are most definitely dupes for the Revlon Colour burst Lip Butters but will set you back a tiny £2.00 each instead of Revlon's £7.99, what a bargain! MUA offer six pretty shades in their Sweet Sheen collection ranging from reds, corals and pinks, so theres certainly a shade to suit everyone, I opted for the darkest shade in the collection 'Cherry Bomb' because I do love my red toned shades he he! Cherry Bomb is a pinky red shade and comes housed in lovely, sturdy, twist up packaging much like you would see if you bought a lipstick, it's great to throw in your handbag as the lid is nice a sturdy and trust me I've certainly put that to the test recently.
The Sweet Sheen Lip Balm formula is gorgeous, it's very pigmented considering it's named a lip balm and really does add a juicy pop of colour to the lips, it's moisturising quality's are very good too and I can feel it working a good couple of hours after application which is pretty impressive, the sweet sheen's also have a lovely sweetie scent and taste to them which I really enjoy. The lasting power of the actual pop of colour on the lips stays in place a good hour or so but 'Cherry Bomb' also stains the lips so after the moisturising sheen has worn off you are left with a pretty stain, I cant say whether that would happen with the other shades in the collection because they are all lighter but 'Cherry Bomb' certainly stays around a while as a stain.
Overall I'm so impressed with MUA's Sweet Sheen Lip Balms and I most definitely want the entire six shades now, they are just so great to throw on no matter what time of day and just adds that something to your lips without it being too full on, their perfect for Springtime wear.

Have you tried any of the MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balm's beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!!

Yankee Candle Summer Scoop Tart Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

If you've followed my blog for a while you'll probably know I'm a huge Yankee Candle fan and now that Spring is hear and Summer is edging closer it's definitely time to switch things up with your candle scents. I recently popped into my local garden centre and picked a few Spring/Summer appropriate scents and Summer Scoop was one I just couldn't resist burning straight away.

Firstly Summer Scoop caught my eye because it was pink and looked so girlie, yup I'm a sucker for anything that looks cute in the packaging so I immediately popped it into my basket. The scent of Summer Scoop is simply scrumptious, it's smells exactly like strawberry ice cream and fragrances the entire house from the get go! The strawberry ice cream scent within the wax tart is quite strong but not overpowering and it does have a slight kick of sweetness to it which I love, but if your not a fan of the sweeter scents you may find Summer Scoop on the sickly side but personally I'm a lover of all things sweet so I find it perfect for me and not sickly in the slightest. I'd definitely say Summer Scoop is best burnt in the Summer time through the day and would also be perfect for those chilly nights after a barbecue too.

All the Yankee Candle wax tart melts claim to provides up to 8 hours of fragrance but personally I find they last sooooo much longer, I can literally have the wax tarts burning in my tart burner for weeks and they still fragrance the entire house which is amazing and such great value for money considering they only set you back £1.49 each.

Have you tried the Summer Scoop scent before beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!!
