Jewel Candle Sweet Cupcake 'Ring' Candle ♥

Hey beaut's!

If you follow me on Instagram you will probably know that I'm candle obsessed, theres nothing better than a cosy night in, watching movies with candles twinkling in the darkness and making your entire house smell amazing is there? Well... what if I told you that you could have all of that and find a beautifully sparkling jewel hidden within the wax itself too.... Oh yes Jewel Candle have that covered!

Jewel Candle are a company which sell candles, all of which contain a pretty 'jewel' hidden within them in the form of a pair of earrings or a ring depending on which size candle you purchase, eekkk what an exciting concept! The Earring Candles are priced at £16.95 each and contain a pair of earrings valued between £10 and £250. The larger Ring Candles are £24.95 each and contain a ring also valued between £10 and £250. The Jewel Candles are presented in weighty glass, pillar style jar's and come complete with a suction lid, I personally love pillar style candles because they seem to burn evenly meaning they last that bit longer and there's no wasted candle wax woohoo, these style of jars are also great to use for storage afterwards, I'm going to use mine for either makeup brushes or cotton wool pads.
The Jewel Candles have a variety of scents to choose from such as Cookies and Cream, Pink Cherry, Passion Fruit and that's just to name a few, the scent I opted for this time around was Sweet Cupcake* a sweet, sugary, warming vanilla scent with a hint of caramel added in there too for good measure, it literally smells delicious! When it came to burning my candle for the very first time and getting operation 'find the jewel' underway I was surprised at how quick the gorgeous scent made its way throughout my house, it seemed like it took seconds which is always a sign of a good quality candle! Because I went for the sweet cupcake scent it did cross my mind that it might be abit too sweet but no.. it's not sickly or heavy at all and even my boyfriend said how amazing it made our house smell, to top it off even when you blow out the candle the scent lingers in the house for a good few hours so overall scent wise its blooming amazing!
When it came to retrieving my jewel I was very impatient, I cant remember the amount of times I kept getting up to have a look to see if I could see it ha ha but it's all part of the fun and excitement isn't it. It's said that each candle will take around 10-15 hours before it's burnt enough so that the jewel can be removed and I would say that's pretty accurate, it took me a good few days of burning before I could see my ring, these Jewel Candles certainly don't burn away quick. When you start to see the heat protective silver foil package poking out of the wax that means it's time to run and get your tweezers or a spoon at the ready he he, I pulled my little foil package out very easily and popped in on top of a piece of kitchen towel just to cool down for a minute or so, then I simply unwrapped the foil and the plastic wrapper that was underneath the foil to be greeted by a gorgeous 925 Sterling Silver ring with a diamond shaped jewel in the middle and tiny diamante stones all around it, and it fits perfectly too woohoo! I'm not exactly sure how much the ring is worth because it doesn't contain a sticker price because Jewel Candle aren't allowed to disclose this any more but of course you can check by taking it to a jewellers, personally it doesn't really bother or effect me knowing the price because I love it no matter how affordable/expensive it is.
Overall I'm highly impressed with Jewel Candles concept, the candle and the ring itself, I love it all! The large Ring Candles have a burning time of around 130-150 hours which is amazing considering the candle is just under £25 and your getting a pretty jewel within that price too, and the fact that the candle burns so cleanly and evenly with minimum wastage really impressed me, the wax literally moves down with the wick and never sticks to the sides woohoo. All in all the Sweet Cupcake candle feels and smells very luxurious, expensive and special and if your a candle lover and have a soft spot for pretty jewels you will love Jewel Candle!

The lovelies over at Jewel Candle have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful, candle loving readers, all you have to do is pop 'hay20' into the promotional code box and you'll receive a 20% discount. The discount code is only available until September 31st 2014 so make sure you take full advantage beaut's, the candles make such nice gifts so why not do abit of forward thinking for Christmas or Birthdays and save yourself some pennies he he.

Makeup Revolution 'Girls On Film' Eyeshadow Palette

Hey beaut's!

I'm obsessed with Makeup Revolution at the moment, I seem to be reaching for their makeup everyday without fail just recently and as you probably already know I'm a huge fan of their eyeshadow palettes so its no surprise that I have another one to share and review for you all today, so say hello to Makeup Revolutions 'Girls On Film' Eyeshadow Palette*.

The 'Girls On Film' eyeshadow palette is part of Makeup Revolutions Limited Edition Salvation Collection of palettes, their are 5 palettes to collect in total and as much as I love the look of the other palettes I have to admit 'Girls On Film' is my favourite, just because the shade range is right up my street and so versatile, if you like a warm neutral palettes girls your gonna love this!

The Girls On Film palette comes packaged in Makeup Revolutions new, large glossy style packaging and comes complete with a good sized mirror inside which is always greatly appreciated. The palette itself contains 18 exclusive shades in total, 12 of which are shimmer eye shadows, which are all placed at the top of the palette in rectangular pans and then their are 6 matte shades that are all placed in circular pans at the bottom of the palette, all of the shades within the palette have been chosen specifically to compliment each other to create numerous looks for day and night. The shade selection really is beautiful and like I said before they are all right up my street, theres an array of warm bronze/brown shades and some pretty purple/grey tones too which are perfect to wear all year round and look stunning against most eye colours.
As always I really have no complaints on the eye shadow's quality, Makeup Revolution seem to make such amazing eye shadows don't they he he. Each eyeshadow within the 'Girls On Film' palette is packed full of pigmentation, especially the metallic/shimmer finish shadows and are all super soft to swatch, easy to work with and blend out a treat, they last great on my oily eyelids without any creasing or fading most of the day and what's best is the palette is super affordable at just £6.00, that's around 30p per eyeshadow, wowza!

As you can see the shades in this palette are blooming gorgeous and overall I'm super impressed! If I had to be extremely picky I would say that the matte shades can be a little on the dry/chalky side to swatch but that doesn't effect their ability to build up and blend through the crease which is what I use them for.

All in all it's another huge thumbs up on the Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette front! Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette's beaut's?? Which is your favourite?? I'd love to know!

Catseye London Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a review of a company that I have fallen head over heels in love with and I'm pretty sure you all will too... that company being Catseye London! Catseye London mainly focus on fashion and beauty accessories such as Makeup Bags, Wash Bags, Handbags, Purses, Pocket Mirrors etc all of which have amazing photographic designs on them, trust me girls if you love anything cute, quirky and vintage inspired your going to love this website and everything on it!

One of the many things that I think is amazing about the website is that most of their specific designs/themes come in a variety of accessories, for example the 'Pug Love' theme has a total of 23 different variations such as a Pillow, an iPad Sleeve, a Cross body Bag and even nail files so if your a Pug lover your about to get seriously excited he he.

So lets see what beauties I have to share with you all...

Pug Clam Mirror* £7.50

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how cute this little Pug Clam Mirror is, ooohh!  The clam style mirror itself is extremely lightweight which is fab for popping into your handbag for on the go because no of us beauties want to lug around extra weight on our shoulders do we? You also get 2 mirror's inside the compact, there is a true image mirror on one side and 2x magnification mirror on the other side. This little chap has gone straight into my handbag, it's such an adorable way to check your cheeks and examine your eyes, and generally see how fantastic you look he he. And speaking of looking good, take a peek at those pugnacious peepers, awww!

Deer on Rose Wash bag* £15.00

As soon as I saw the Deer on Rose design I fell instantly in love, it's just so pretty isn't it! The wash bag itself is made out of a patent material inside and out making it really easy to wipe/rinse clean if you have an spillages during travelling, woohoo no messy stains here! The size of the wash bag is good and really roomy so you can fit lot's inside, it also has two little side pockets on either side of the wash bag, these would be perfect to store cotton wool pads, nails files, a small mirror etc, so whether your off on your holidays or you want to buy someone a nice gift your definitely onto a winner with this wash bag and adorable design.

Overall I'm super excited about the Catseye London website, it just has so many cute designs to choose from and with the wash bag and the mirror that I've tried I have no doubts that the quality of their items are outstanding too. Another little touch that I really liked was how the goodies arrived, both the wash bag and the mirror came in thick, grey drawstring bags with the Catseye London logo on the front and where wrapped up securely so that there would be no damages during transit, the Pug Love Mirror was all bubble wrapped and the Deer on Rose Wash bag was stuffed with cushioning material so that it would arrive completely in shape, now I know that outside packaging isn't everything but to me it's those little things that really count so a huge thumbs up goes to Catseye London from me!

What do you think of the Catseye London website beaut's?? I'd love to know!
