Makeup Revolution Haul ♥

Hey beaut's!

I think it fair to say ever since Makeup Revolution launched in March this year they're amazing quality, revolutionary priced makeup has taken the blogosphere by storm and finally I've jumped on the bandwagon and treated myself to a few bit's, well it would be silly not to take advantage of Superdrugs 3 for 2 offer wouldn't it he he! So today I thought I'd share with you the few things I bought, I will be doing full reviews on each product once I've tried them out in full so keep your eyes peeled beaut's!

Makeup Revolution Lipsticks £1.00 each
The first makeup items I knew I had to look at was the lipsticks, I'd heard so many good things about the Vamp Collection and in particular Rebel With A Cause because of it's likeness to MAC's Rebel so that went straight into my basket, next up was Fusion which is basically a matte version of Rebel With A Cause, I have no idea why mine turned up with it's point cut off but for £1.00 I cant complain really he he. My next lipstick purchase was another from the Vamp Collection aptly called 100% Vamp, this shade really reminds me of the Lorde MAC Lipstick that's coming  out, it has a very deep, purple/plum tone to it so is definitely great to create Lordes signature vampy lip, and lastly I decided to pick up a coral toned lippie for the summer months so I went with Chic, as much as I think the shade of Chic is absolutely stunning , it contains loads glitters and shimmers which I'm not to keen on but hey, I'll make it work! My first impressions of the 4 lipsticks I bought are, great pigmentation, stunning colours, they all have a super smooth, creamy formula, even Fusion (the matte shade) applies smoothly, definitely a big thumbs up from me.

Makeup Revolution Iconic 2 Eyeshadow Palette £4.00
I have seen so many positive reviews on these Iconic Eyeshadow Palettes, they definitely seems a popular choice so of course I had to pick one up for myself to try, they are only £4.00  each for 12 eye shadows and again are dupes for the high end Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I thought I'd go for the Iconic 2 Palette because I already own the Naked Palette and Naked 3 Palette and the only one I have left to collect is the Naked 2 so it only seemed right to get it's dupe. I'm loving the palette so far, the shades are right up my street and so wearable, also the quality of the eye shadows is amazing!

Makeup Revolution Kajal Black £2.00
Ive always wanted one of these Kajal liners and for £2.00 I thought I may as well get one. They are so great at lining the upper and lower lash line as the same time, it's just so quick and simple to use, whats not to love.

Makeup Revolution Powder Blush in Hot! and Wow! £1.00 each
As the blushers where only £1.00 each I thought I'd get 2 to try, I haven't used them as of yet so I cant really say much about them, however the shades look amazing, such gorgeous pink tones.

Makeup Revolution Eye dust in Supreme and Indirect £1.00 each
These little pigments reminded me of MAC'S loose pigments, I just thought they would look super pretty used as highlights and also will work well pressed over the top of eye shadows to add some sparkle on nights out.

Makeup Revolution Amazing Lip gloss in Raspberry £1.00
I must admit when I saw the colour of this I just bought it, I didn't read what it was but the shade just completely sold it to me he he. Turns out it's a lip gloss ha ha, I love it!

Makeup Revolution Glitter Nail Polish in Streetcar Desire £1.50
And lastly, I saw someone tweet a picture of this glitter polish used as a top coat and it looked absolutely stunning, so again this quickly ended up in my basket. I love glitter polishes as they can be used in so many different ways and are so versatile. Arhhh it's just so pretty and sparkly, I just love it!

Overall I absolutely love the pretties I bought and I'll certainly be placing another Makeup Revolution order very soon. You honestly cant beat the affordable prices and the amazing quality can you.

Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution products that I have bought?? What did you think beaut's?? I'd love to know.

Reminder... Have some fun and and head on over to my Guess the Polish post! You could WIN a nail polish for yourself too!

Guess the Polish?? Contest now OVER!

Hey beaut's!

Today's post is a review with a little bit of a difference, ooohhh?? What's the difference you maybe wondering? Well today I'm reviewing a mystery nail polish, yup you wont have a clue what  the nail polish shade or brand it is... Cue the fun... I have 2 extra bottles of the mystery nail polish to give away, all you have to do is guess the drugstore brand of the mystery nail polish featured in today's post...
So let me start off by saying how stunning this mystery shade is, it's a summery bright red with an added dose of coral and is certainly eye catching and just pops on the nails. The brand itself actually offer 22 shades to choose from in this particular collection so there's certainly a shade to suit everyone which I love!
The formula of this mystery nail polish is lovely and very easy to work with, it applies smooth with no bubbling or streaking what so ever and is slightly thicker that some other nail polishes I've tried, which I automatically like because I find thicker nail polishes seem to last so well. I find one coat was enough for the mystery nail polish to be completely opaque although I always like to apply 2 coats for extra lasting power. Talking of lasting power... This little beauty lasts on my nails for a good 5 days and that's without a top coat which I think is amazing! The finish of this nail polish really reminds me of a gel like finish, it's lovely and glossy and feels very hard wearing just like a gel polish would, arrrhh I just love this formula, it's so amazing and really replicates high end quality.
Picture on the left taken outside in the sunshine, picture on the right taken indoors.

The packaging holds 9ml's worth a polish and has a glass bottle design which is finished off with a white, large, rounded plastic lid that screws on tightly making it nice and secure. The brush doesn't differ from most nail polish really but the bristles do cut off at a sharp, straight edge which is great for precision and the bristles do hold their shape well and don't shed at all whilst applying the polish.

Overall I love this polish and it's perfect for the Summer months ahead, it will also make an awesome colour for nights out and on toes too. I really favour the gel like formula and the fact it lasts on my nails a good 5 days is pretty impressive considering I'm a very hands on person at work and at home, definitely and 10 out of 10 polish for me, and it's so affordable too.

So how do you get involved.... Well, all you have to do to join in the fun and be in with a chance of winning a bottle of this gorgeous nail polish for yourself is simply leave me a comment below with your guess of what nail polish brand you think this mystery nail polish is, also leave me your email address because if you are 1 of the 2 lucky winners then I can email you to let you know you have won, and finally you must be following my blog on either Bloglovin or GFC!

May Non Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

So it's that time again... Non beauty favourites time!! I've really been enjoying sharing my non beauty favourites with you all, it's so nice to add something a little bit different to my blog each month and I personally think it's a great way for me to look back and see what I was loving non beauty wise throughout the year.

Soooo... lets get down to business ha ha.....

Prison Break
I'm going through a phase at the moment where I'm re-watching loads of TV shows that I love season by season, last month I completed the entire 5 seasons of The Hills and this month it's been all about Prison Break! Man I love this show, every episode ends on a cliffhanger which makes me stay up super late as I literally cant turn it off not to mention Michael Scofeild and Sucre are very nice to watch if you get what I mean ha ha. I'm already half way through Season 4, which is the last season (sad face), so if you have any recommendations of what I could watch next do let me know he he.

Flipz Pretzels
My food addiction this month is easily these yummy Flipz Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels, I used to be hooked on them when I was little and then all of a sudden they disappeared, but then a while ago when I visited my Mum we went into her local Tesco and to my absolute delight there is a whole American Food aisle, so now every time I go over my Mums I buy another bag ha ha, they are just soooo scrummy!

Summery Days & Gardening

Yayy, finally in May we have seen some gorgeous sunshine and warmer weather, and in Norfolk we had what they call a 'mini heatwave', so of course this made me very happy, it just felt so nice to get my sandals and summer dresses back out, and that feeling of not being cold is just great! The warmer weather had also meant that I've been pimping up my garden ha ha, in the summer I'm a garden girl and in the winter I'm a baking girl so  of course I went straight out and bought everything from, flowers to compost to solar lights and even wood chip ha ha, I'm so happy with how my little gardens looking now, the final result is totally worth the time and effort.

My Little Mermaid PJ's
Oh my goodness, I think these are literally the best pyjamas in the world. They where £8.00 from Primark and I literally squealed out loud in the shop when I saw them and they want straight in my basket. I haven't stopped wearing these since I got them, they're just so comfy, cute and Disney, what's not to love he he.

Girly Night Out
This month I had a long overdue girls night out and it was lovely, 6 of us just went out for some yummy food, some drinks and of course lots of girly chats and it was soooo nice, I'm definitely going to make it a more of a regular thing from now on, it's nice to let your hair down from time to time isn't it! I just had to add this picture from that night of an extremely scrumptious dessert ( don't worry it was shared ha ha), you may have seen it on my Instagram but if not I've added it here just to make your mouth water he he, it's basically the most amazing dessert I've ever seen!!

What have you been loving non beauty wise throughout May??? I'd love to know!!!
