Makeup Revolution's NEW Liquid Highlighter Reviewed

Hey beaut's!

I'm literally a highlighter addict, I love to be highlighted enough that I look like a glazed donut he he, so when I saw Makeup Revolutions brand new liquid highlighters I just knew I had to try one. Surprisingly I'm actually new to liquid highlighters so I had no idea what to expect here, I've seen and heard so many good things about the Cover FX Drops and the Iconic London Illuminators but I have never tried either of those mainly because of the heavy price tag, so I'm guessing MUR where going for an affordable dupe here, yayyy!
I've been giving the Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter in the shade Starlight* a whirl which is such a pretty reflective white-pink with minute sparkles within it, however Makeup Revolution do have 6 other shades within their Liquid Highlighter range so theres certainly a shade to suit everyone. The highlighter has a dropper system which makes working with a liquid highlighter a lot easier, you can simply suction up the liquid and then carefully use a drop or two where you need or want it, what I will say is a little goes a long way with this so don't go too crazy... well unless you want to and in that case go for it he he!
What I love about this liquid highlighter is just how versatile it is, you can mix into your favourite foundation for a more dewy and illuminous finish, it can be mixed into your body lotion and creams for a gorgeous all over glow, or you can use it alone just how you would your normal highlighter with a brush or sponge on the cheekbones, nose and cupids bow. The glow and sheen created by Starlight is absolutely gorgeous, its quite intense unless you go quite lightweight with it but I love an intense highlighter so I kinda go for it, it does feel a little oily in constancy when I'm first putting it on but it does set and stays well on my dry skin without going patchy!
If your looking for a versatile highlighter that will have you glowing like you've never glowed before which wont break the bank then I cant recommend Makeup Revolutions new Liquid Highlighters enough, at just £6.00 it's such a reasonable buy and because you only need the smallest amount for each application I can see the bottles lasting a really long time.

Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighters yet beaut's? Which shade is your favourite? I'd love to know!

You can find the Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter in the shade Starlight for £6.00 HERE.

  1. I'm literally so excited to try these! Heard they are such a good dupe from the Cover FX ones and like yourself never tried them due to the heavy price tag.

  3. It's really pretty, and it seems that they copied Cover FX, I hate when brands to that so probably I won't buy this :/ xx

  4. I adore my Cover FX version of this, might give these a try and see how they compare to the much more expensive Cover FX option
