World Duty Free Top Picks!

Hey beaut's!

It's that time of year again when everyone is jetting off on their summer holiday's, and what better way to kick start your holiday than with a few cheeky purchases from World Duty Free! Being the makeup and beauty lover that I am I literally cant wait to check out duty free when I go away so today I thought I'd share with you all a couple of my favourites that you can pick up at the moment!
Can we all just take a second to appreciate how stunning this Christian Dior Lip Experts Duo* is, oh my... I literally have love hearts in my eyes right now! Within this duo you get a full size Dior Addict Lip Glow in Pink, this feels and looks like a lip balm but once its applied to the lips the formula reacts to your lip chemistry to create a glow that is unique to you, pretty cool huh! It feels extremely nourishing on my lips and leaves me with such a pretty pink flush on my lips, perfect for when your on holiday and want a slight tint to your lips without having to wear a full on lippie or liquid lipstick, I love it! Theres also a travel sized Dior Lip Maximiser within the set, this moisturises the lips and gives an incredible instant-volume effect for full, plump lips. The gloss itself smells divine, just like vanilla and mint and it instantly tingles on the lips, it can feel a little intense to start with but once your used to the sensation it's actually quite satisfying and I definitely feel my lips look more plump after using it too so it certainly works, and a major plus is that the gloss isn't sticky at all, woohoo.

Next up is this Clarins Perfect Body Set* (£35.00) which is a Travel Exclusive and cant be found anywhere else only at the airport, the set includes Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion 100ml, Tonic Body Treatment Oil 30ml, Body Lift Cellulite Control 100ml and the Exfoliating Body Scrub 30ml. This is literally the perfect little set to take away with you on holiday to keep your skin looking gorgeous and nourished. My favourite products from this set would have to be the scrub and the rich body lotion, these two together are a dream for the skin, I have quite dry skin which I always have to exfoliate and moisturise and since using these two together my skin has been super soft, nourished and really healthy looking with no dryness at all, I cant recommend them enough for dry skinned gals!

You can find all of these products and sets plus so much more at World Duty Free - HERE. Also you can now save precious time at the airport by reserving both of these products as well as thousands of other products right now. The items/products will be ready and waiting for you to collect in store before your flight. No payment is required until collection and you can even nominate someone else to collect your order for you, it's so easy and convenient.

This month we have a BBQ themed box with a whopping 16 yummy food and drink items to sink our teeth into, I'm going to kick things off with some sweet treats - two yummy bags of Haribo! I love Haribo, their the perfect movie or TV snack, what makes these two bags of Haribo slightly different is that they are the Summer Frenzy Editions (£1.00 each), the Tangfastics are in ice cream sorbet flavour and the Starmix are in berry flavour, yum!
Next up are a few snacky bits from the box staring with some yummy Walkers Shortbread (£1.95) , I'm such a sucker for shortbread, I usually only have it as a treat at Christmas time because once I have some I have to consume the entire box so these little scottie dog shaped biccys wont last long with me. Theres also two snacks from Lights Bites, their Mango and Vanilla Yoghurt Fruit Chips (£1.49) and their Super food Seed Bar (£1.25), these both sound super yummy and are not bad on the waistline at all. Finally for snack bits theres some granola from Spoon in Apple and Peanut flavour, this will be perfect with some yoghurt and fruit in the mornings.
Now we are moving onto the more BBQ appropriate bit's a pieces starting with the Schwartz Authentic American Flavours (85p each) these are an essential for a BBQ to flavour up pieces of chicken and kebabs, yum yum yum! Then we have this months product of the month, the Original O's Savory Cumin and Sesame Nibbles (£2.99), again another essential for the BBQ table and these are such an addictive snack, I love them!
Finally this month we have loads of drinks to keep us refreshed which are definitely a BBQ must have starting with two cans of Westons Cider (£1.99), these are some funky flavourings that I cant wait to try such as rhubarb and damson, yum! We also got two ENRJ Juices (£1.75), these are a lot healthier than your standard energy drinks, firstly their not fizzy their actually a still juice and their made from naturally caffeinated unroasted coffee beans and 100% fruit juice, their even classed as one of your five a day, pretty cool huh! There was also a bottle of Berrywhite Organic Cranberry and Apple Juice (£1.39)  which I drank almost instantly, its simply organic fruit juice mixed with mineral water, it was super refreshing and again one bottle of this stuff is one of your five a day! Lastly this month we have a bottle of Eisberg (£1.49), this is the UK's number one best selling alcohol free wine brand, it's made in the exact same was as your favourite wine but the alcohol has been gentle removed, perfect if your not a big drinker like myself.

Joan Collins I Am Woman Perfume Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm a huge Joan Collins beauty fan, her lippies are some of my favourites and I have a few other makeup bits and pieces from her too which I love. One thing I was yet to try was her fragrance I Am Woman, so being the perfume addict that I am I thought it was about time a gave it a whirl.
The Joan Collins I Am Woman Ea De Parfum* comes packaged in a gorgeous glass cut bottle which reflects the light beautifully on my dressing table, I have the 12ml sample size which is the cutest little thing I've ever seen but their are bigger size variations to choose from too, personally I love the smaller size because it fits into my bag perfectly and if your looking to just test the fragrance out it's nice that you can buy a decent size tester. The scent itself is very classy, glamorous, deep and mature with woody and musky notes really coming through on top for me, theres also a fruity element to the scent with added citrus and peach but they are only recognisable when I very first spritz this onto my skin. Below is the full list of fragrance notes -

Top - bergamot, citrus, lemon peel, orange zest, peach nectar and mandarin
Mid - rose, orange flower, jasmine, fresh greens, sweet herbal and mossy
Base - musks, vanilla, tonka, amber, cedar wood, sandalwood and patchouli
For me I Am Woman is more of an evening scent or Autumn and Winter scent, it's very warm and musky and extremely strong and super long lasting, so those of you who don't like a strong scent you will probably find this one a little too much. However if strong more woody, musky scents are your thing this will definitely tick all the boxes for you. It really is the perfect evening scent, it feels so glamorous a luxurious, just what you'd expect from Joan Collins herself hey he he!

You can find the Joan Collins I Am Woman Perfume 12ml for £15.00 HERE, theres also a 50ml bottle available and gift sets too.

Have your tried Joan Collins I Am Woman perfume beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

NEW Garnier Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

You might remember back in March I reviewed my all time favourite face mask from the drugstore - Garnier's Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask! I love that mask so much and always buy them in bulk because I cant be without them in my stash, but when I spotted a couple of new Garnier tissue masks in Superdrug a few weeks back I was intrigued and just had to buy one to try to see if it was as good as my trusty Moisture Bomb mask.

The Garnier Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask is an all in one, ultra thin sheet mask which is suitable for all skin types but is especially targeted for those with dry sensitive skin who are prone to tightness like me. The mask itself is infused with soothing Chamomile, super-hydrating plant serum and hyaluronic acid, making this an ultra moisturising yet calming mask to use that will leave the skin softer, hydrated and soothed. To apply the mask you just pop it out of the packaging, unfold it and simply place it onto cleansed skin, then peal off the blue backing once your happy with the masks placement and then leave it to do its thing for 15 minutes. Whilst the mask is on you'll notice that the mask itself is absolutely drenched in serum, personally I love this because once you take the mask off theres still plenty of serum left on my face to rub into my skin, so my skin really gets a huge dose of moisture.

The results for me after using the Garnier Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask are great, my skin feels super moisturised, really soft and smooth, any tightness around my dry patches where nourished and the mask soothed and calmed any redness I had around my nose. In terms of it working differently to the original moisture bomb mask... I don't see much difference in the results at all, the one difference I found is that this chamomile mask doesn't have the cooling effect that the original moisture bomb mask has, so this one doesn't feel as refreshing as maybe the original one does but that's simply it, their both so moisturising and nourishing and I honestly cant recommend them both enough if you have dry, dehydrated skin as they both work wonders for me and are hands down the best masks I've ever tried in terms of hydration, their incredible.

You can find the Garnier Moisture Bomb Camomile Tissue Mask for £1.99 at the moment in Superdrug HERE.

Olivia Burton Queen Bee Watch Review

 Hey beaut's!

I've always been a huge fan of Olivia Burton watches, their just so feminine and utterly gorgeous, and during the Spring/Summer months I love nothing more than to add little touches of colour here and there within my outfits and as soon as I saw the Olivia Burton Animal Motif Watch* (£135.00) I had love hearts in my eyes and new it was the watch for the job!
Olivia Burton has a wonderful collection of beautiful and enchanting watches on  WatchShop.com, theres literally something to suit everyone from the more classic Olivia Burton style, to small faces and big faces, coloured straps, floral designs, it's endless! Of course I fell head over heels in love with Olivia Burton's Queen Bee watch, I mean isn't it stunning! The watch itself comes complete with a rose gold plated casing and accents, a white face, a miniature 3D bee motif at the 12 0'clock point (which I'm in love with), a super soft leather strap in a beautiful nude/peach shade and and its fitted with a three hand quartz movement.

It's such a comfortable watch to wear and looks so pretty when it's on, the rose gold detailing and the bee motif are just beautiful and are probably my favourite things about the watch. I also love that it doesn't have one of those bracelet clasps, those sort of watches are always too big for me however this watch has plenty of holes punched into it so it fit's my wrist perfectly.
Overall I'm so in love with my Olivia Burton watch, it looks stunning, it feels so well made and luxurious, it's comfortable and more importantly it keeps me on time for work he he. If your super girly and love rose gold and nude tones and happen to be looking for a new watch I cant recommend Olivia Burton watches enough.

Real Techniques Miracle Cleansing Sponge Reviewed

Hey beaut's!

I'm a huge Real Techniques fan, I use their makeup brushes and makeup sponges every single day so when I saw that they had released LOADS of new makeup sponges a little while ago I couldn't wait to check them all out. One sponge in particular caught my eye because it wasn't a regular makeup sponge, oh no no no it was a sponge for skincare,  yup Real Techniques have now delved into the world of cleansing and exfoliating!
The Miracle Cleansing Sponge* has been designed too to prep the skin ready for makeup application by gently exfoliating away dirt, oil, and makeup leaving us with a smooth, soft complexion. The sponge itself is the same shape as the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge but with a slightly gritty texture when dry, it's in no way hard but theres definitely some texture there when dry. You do have to use the sponge wet alongside your favourite facial cleanser, I use my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and just for reference the sponge and this cleanser do go hand in hand with each other and work so well. When the sponge is wet it does expand slightly and has a softer, sponge-y texture, it is coarse enough to exfoliate and remove dead, flaky skin yet gentle enough to use around the eyes without any harshness or irritation. The shape of the sponge is fab too, it reaches all the contours of the face with ease so no nook or cranny is missed or forgotten.

Overall I do really like this sponge, it certainly does a fab job at exfoliating and cleansing my skin when used in conjunction with my cleanser, my skin always feels great after using the sponge and I always use it over my eyes to remove mascara and it tackles that with ease and never feels rough. I also love how it gently sweeps away flakes of dry skin without irritation and it rinses out brilliantly too, I was expecting so much black staining from my mascara and liquid liner but it literally rinses straight out, it quite impressive actually he he. I'd totally recommend the sponge if your looking for something to achieve gentle yet effective facial cleansing, it gets the job done but in a gentle, sensitive way, I love it!

You can You can find the Real Techniques Miracle Cleansing Sponge on the face.co.uk website for £5.50 HERE. Face.co.uk also offer FREE 1st class delivery too, don't you just love that!

Have you tried the Miracle Cleansing Sponge by Real Techniques beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know?

My Favourite Makeup Sprays!

 Hey beaut's!

Makeup setting sprays and priming sprays are huge right now and I for one am a total addict of them, priming sprays always make such a different in how my foundation looks on my skin and setting sprays... well they just keep everything set and looking fresh throughout the entire day. Honestly beaut's if you haven't tried any makeup sprays yet now is the time to take yourself too Boots or Superdrug and treat yourself to a couple to try, you wont regret it trust me!
MAC's Fix + and the Smashbox Photo Finish Priming Water are both my favourites for refreshing and priming my skin. Before I apply my foundation or concealer I literally drench my face in either of these beauties and then I go straight in with my foundation and concealer whilst my face is still wet with the priming sprays, this does something magical as I'm blending everything in and the overall finish of my base makeup is lovely, so lightweight, smooth and dewy, I love it. I also use the priming sprays on my beauty blender, again it just really helps with the overall finish of my makeup and dampening a makeup brush with either sprays can really transform your eye shadows and highlighter into well pigmented, gleaming gorgeousness too! And lastly I love to use them both to refresh my makeup throughout the day, it also takes that over powdered look away from my skin and makes things like my highlighter really pop!

As for setting sprays theres two clear winners for me and that's my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and my Barry M Mist & Fix Dewy Finish Setting Spray. These two are extremely similar to each other and practically work the same although, I would say Urban Decay's offering does keep my makeup in place a tad longer than Barry M's Mist & Fix but I'd say Barry M have a great dupe here and for a fraction of the price. Both sprays keep my makeup in place a full working day without any fading, caking or melting and neither dry my skin out at all and they both keep me looking fresh, dewy and radiant.

What's your favourite makeup spray beaut's? I'd love to know what I should try next!

Brush Works HD Complexion & Contouring Sponge Kit Reviewed

 Hey beaut's!

My favourite way to apply my foundation and concealer is a trusty makeup sponge, I've probably been using sponges for a good couple of years now and haven't really gravitated back to a foundation brush at all. I've tried so many sponges in all shapes and sizes and most of them I've really enjoy using so when I saw Brush Works Complexion & Contouring Kit my 'makeup sponge addict' senses got very excited and I couldn't wait to give the kit a whirl.
The Brush Works HD Complexion and Contouring Kit* contains three, high quality beauty sponges all of which are made from hydrophilic material and are latex free. Each sponge has been specially designed and shaped so that we can get many uses out of each one, of course for best results they are all to be used damp but you can also use the sponges dry too. What I love about all three of the sponges within this kit is that once their all damp they really do expand well and go so soft and bouncy, I love the pretty girly colours all the sponges come in too.
My favourite and most used sponge out of the Complexion & Contouring Kit is the baby pink large egg shaped sponge, this reminds me most of the popular beauty blender and I have to say it works an absolute dream. It so soft and bouncy and bounces in my foundation so flawlessly within seconds, and because it has such a handy pointed tip I can really get into the inner corners of my eyes and around my nose with ease.
The dark pink hourglass shapes sponge is a tiny bit firmer than the baby pink sponge but it still feels lovely against the skin and isn't hard in the slightest, this one is specially designed to contour and define however it does blend in foundation and concealer beautifully too. If you do like to cream contour and cream highlight this sponge is super useful, the pointed tip can stripe on the colour then you can use the sponge on it's side to blend and defuse any harsh lines, I love it.
Finally the Complexion & Contouring Kit is completed with a miniature sized lilac sponge which I have to say is a must for concealer application, honestly my concealer has never looked so flawless until I used this mini sponge, it's shape fits around the contours of my eyes perfectly and it's great for pin point concealing blemishes too.

Overall I absolutely love these sponges by Brush Works, this little kit has certainly been a hit with me. All three of the sponges are soft and bouncy, blend everything quickly and flawlessly and never cake up any of my base makeup even when layering up different product's whether it be liquid or powder. Their really affordable too at just £11.99 for the three which works out just £3.99 per sponge, what a beauty bargain! I honestly cant think of anything bad to say here, their lovely sponges and perform just as well as some of the more expensive sponges I've used!

You can find the Brush Works HD Complexion & Contouring Kit on the face.co.uk website for £11.99 HERE. Face.co.uk also offer FREE 1st class delivery which is super handy if your in a pinch and need some new makeup sponges pronto he he!

Eylure Brow Control & Shape Gel Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm really into perfecting my brows at the minute, I used to hate doing them but now I find it so satisfying getting them perfect and on point, no makeup look is complete without a pair of gorgeous brows after all is it he he. Recently I've been giving Eylure's Brow Control & Shape Gel a whirl and have really been loving the results.

Eylure's Brow Control & Shape Gel* is a clear brow gel designed to groom and perfect the brows keeping them set into place all day long, and seeing as I have quite naughty, unruly brow hairs this gel is just what I needed. The formula of the gel itself is really easy to work with, the brush wand evenly distributes the gel throughout the brows without feeling super wet or sticky and conditions them at the same time because its enriched with Aloe Vera, Panthenol, Nettle Leaf Extract, and ProCircul8. The formula is super undetectable too and never goes crispy, usually I can always see where some of my other clear brow gels have set on my brow hairs but with Eylures offering I cant see the formula at all, it's like it's invisible. As for the lasting power...its faultless, my brows simply look the same at night when I take my makeup off as they did in the morning when I first applied the gel.
Overall I'm super impressed with the Brow Control & Shape Gel by Eylure, it's quick and easy to use, super long lasting and flake free, undetectable on the brows yet they are set into place all day and the packaging is cute and dinky and fits into my makeup bag perfectly. If your into your brow gels beaut's I'd highly recommend giving this gel a whirl, especially if your brows are unruly like mine are because this product is great for taming those naughty brow hairs he he.

You find the Eylure Brow Control & Shape Gel on the face.co.uk website for £5.95 HERE. Face.co.uk also offer FREE 1st class delivery which is super handy if your in a pinch and need your brow gel pronto!

Urban Decay B6 Complexion Prep Spray Review

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I LOVE Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray because it's featured on my blog A LOT! However despite Urban Decay having a lots of other spray to choose from I have never gone as far as trying any others until recently when I gave their B6 Complexion Prep Spray a whirl.

The Urban Decay B6 Complexion Prep Spray is formulated to be used in the mornings before your daily skincare routine and makeup application to prep, prime and balance the skin whilst evening out skin tone, absorbing oil and reducing shine. You can also use the spray during the day to refresh your skin (without messing up your makeup), or at night before your evening skincare routine. My immediate thoughts where that this spray sounded like it would be great for anyone with oily combination skin however Urban Decay say it's versatile enough for people of all ages and all skin types to use, so if your are a normal to dry skinned gal like myself you can still benefit from this spray.
The spray itself has a micro fine mist that goes on so light and feels super refreshing, it doesn't feel sticky/tacky at all nor does it feel like you have a film over your skin which gives this lots of sparkly points from me. The formula of the spray is loaded with skin-nourishing ingredients such as stabilized vitamin B6, antioxidant vitamin E and exfoliating willow bark so as you can imagine it does make the skin look and feel good especially overtime, Ive definitely noticed my pores around my nose appear reduced, my skin tone is more even and this stuff is great when it's hot, we've been getting quite a few warm, muggy days in the UK recently and I always get an oily T-zone when it hot but this spray really helps to keep the oily-ness and shine at bay without drying my skin out, it would be great to take on holiday for sure.

Overall I've really been enjoying using this little beauty in the mornings and during the day on a hot day, it's definitely worth trying for those with larger pores and stressed skin that is prone to breakouts, redness and un-even skin, like I said I've definitely seen improvement over time in my pores and my skin tone is definitely more even, or if you just like a really refreshing facial spray that wont disrupt your makeup this spray is perfect for that too and I really enjoy using it that way!

You can find the Urban Decay B6 Complexion Prep Spray for £23.50 HERE.

Top 5 Products From Vichy

Hey beaut's!

Last year I started a little series of posts featuring my top 5, their was everything from lip liners to brow products and even makeup under £5.00 but I realised I'd never done a top 5 featuring any skincare so today I thought I'd share with you all my favourites from Vichy.
The Moisturisers!
My favourite day time moisturiser by Vichy is without a doubt their Normaderm Anti-Blemish Care Moisturiser, I use this every single morning without fail and as soon as I run out I have to re-purchase another bottle straight away as my skin goes into meltdown otherwise. My skin just seems to love this moisturiser so much and it definitely brightens my complexion, moisturises well, it has really helped even out my skin tone and lightened blemishes over time whilst also keeping me spot free, I love this stuff!

If your looking for a new super moisturising and really illuminating eye cream then you have to give Vichy's Idealia Eyes a whirl, this stuff will nourish beyond belief and because it's enriched with instant illuminators it brightens the eye area so well reducing darkness whilst also smoothing and soothing!

Because I have dryer skin I always have to use a night cream and the Idealia Skin Sleep is my favourite of them all, it has a comforting gel-balm texture that feels lovely when I'm applying it and in the mornings my skin feels so soft, nourished, glowy and supple!
Face Mask!
I'm a massive face make fan but truth be told I never stick to the same mask all the time, I'm always chopping and changing but my favourite one by Vichy is their Double Glow Peel Mask. This mask is formulated to boost your skin’s natural radiance, and instantly restore luminosity back into your complexion, and this definitely makes my sensitive skin appear brighter and glowy, it's like a 'pick me up' for my skin because my skins texture is always so smooth, supple and moisturised afterwards, and like I said before my skins always super radiant too afterwards. I'd highly recommend this mask if your suffering from dull, tired looking, sensitive skin, it's going to work wonders!
Foundation!
Vichy foundations are bloody fantastic and their Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation happens to be my personal favourite. I don't really have problematic skin or acne (which this foundation is incredible for) however I do love good coverage for perfect looking skin and this foundation is incredible in the coverage side of things, it's able to cover acne, scarring, blemishes, uneven skin tone etc but in a lightweight way, all thanks to it's creamy, fluid formula. It has a gorgeous semi matte finish which I love but it still has a slight glow to it but isn't shiny what so ever and lasts an incredibly long time, it's honestly insanely good stuff and I couldn't be without it in my collection.

As you can see I have a lot of love for Vichy as a brand and still have other products from them that I love but this five are my all time favourites that I have or would keep re-purchasing over and over!

Have you tried any of these beauties from Vichy? Which is your favourite product from them? I'd love to know!
