Nuxe Best-Seller Christmas Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a gorgeous Christmas gift set to share with you by the luxurious French skincare brand Nuxe, this set would not only go down an absolute treat with any skincare or indeed Nuxe lover but it's also a great way to introduce someone to the brand and the world of luxury skincare.
As the name would suggest the Nuxe Best Seller Gift Set* (£20.00) contains a trio of Nuxe's best selling products which will thoroughly pampered the skin this festive season. Firstly theres the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Golden Dry Oil (50ml) - This is a really popular, iconic oil which is enriched with a gorgeous blend of plant oils that nourishes, softens and illuminates the face, body and hair all in one go. I've been using this oil since the very second I got it and honestly it works wonders, and anyone with dry skin like myself will really benefit from it because it's so nourishing. As this is a golden oil it does contain tiny shimmering mineral particles which give radiance to the skin and hair for a healthier, glowing look. I can see this bottle lasting such a long time because the smallest amount of this oil goes such a long way.
Also in the set is the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Honey Lip Balm (15g) - This lip balm contains a combination of honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit that all work together to nourish, repair, soothe and protect even the driest and most damaged lips. This stuff is honestly like magic for my lips, at this time of the year pretty much nothing helps my lips but this lip balm by Nuxe has really worked and impressed me a lot, it's so moisturising and feels so smooth in the lips and the taste and scent of grapefruit is such a nice treat. Finally and completing this set is the Nuxe Prodigieux Precious Scented Shower Oil (30ml) - This shower gel actually has an oil-gel formula and is infused with a beautiful sunshine scent and golden shimmer. Now when I saw that this shower oil contained shimmer I was slightly weary because I thought I was going to come out of the shower looking like a disco ball however... the shimmer is actually really subtle and delicate, great to use over the festive season for sure.
Overall I think this is such a lovely gift and definitely something any skin care lover would adore, it's such great value too at just £20.00 for the set which for luxury skincare really is a bargain.

You can find the Nuxe Best-Seller Christmas Gift Set (£20.00) on the Escentual website HERE.

Beauty Christmas Crackers 2016

Hey beaut's!

Their are sooooo many beauty Christmas crackers out this year, brands have seriously upped their game and I'm loving them all so much that I just had to share my top picks with you all today. Personally I think beauty crackers work amazingly well as stocking fillers or for secret Santa gifts, their all super festive because of their cracker design, reasonably priced and still great little gifts at the same time that most beauty lovers would enjoy. I also love how you can now get full boxes of crackers too, I think these are great if your hosting a Christmas meal with your best friends a bit before Christmas, they just make such a nice change to normal crackers done they. My favourites out of this bunch would have to be the Essie nail polish cracker and the Soap and Glory set of crackers. The Essie cracker contains four full size nail polishes in gorgeous wintry shades perfect for the festive/party season, theres even a glitter shade within the four too, and the Soap and Glory set contains 6 crackers with a mini Soap and Glory favourite inside, theres a mini hand cream, foot cream, a couple of shower gels, a body scrub and a body butter, how amazing is that!

For crisps this month we have some Pipers Crisps in Wild Thyme and Rosemary flavour to try £2.00, I must admit I'm not keen on how this flavour sounds but Pipers Crisps are always delicious and full of taste so I'm looking forward to giving them a go. Mad Beauty is a website which is the home of the Vintage Kellogg's range and the Never Too Old Disney Beauty range as well as a whole host of other beauty and cosmetics items, and theres even stationary and other accessories on the website too, so theres certainly something on there to suit most that you maybe gifting this Christmas.
Firstly lets kick things of with the Vintage Kellogg's range, the first thing I have is the Lip Balm Cereal Tin* (£9.99) which would be an amazing stocking filler gift for anyone who's into their lip products or of course lip balms. Theres 5 lip balms within this set that all have that vintage 70's look which I think is so cute and quirky, and each lip balm does indeed smell like the cereal for instance the coco pops lip balm smells just like a bowl of coco pops and the fruit loops one smells really sugary sweet. Each lip balm works well and moisturises and nourishes my lips leaving them silky smooth and makes a lovely base for lipsticks to go over. Then I have the Kellogg's 50's Vintage Bath Milk* (£6.99), I love the packaging of this, it looks like a vintage milk carton but actually contains a tuberose and jasmine bath milk perfect for anyone who loves a bit of a pamper session and relaxing soak in the tub!
Next up is a couple of the cutest things from the Never Too Old Disney Beauty range, firstly how sweet are these Disney Alice Bath Fizzers* (£4.99), you get three pink heart shaped bath fizzers in this gift set that all smell of ginger and pear which is such a nice festive fragrance, so if you have anyone in your life that likes something similar to a Lush bath then these are sure to be a winner. Secondly theres the Never Grow Up Lip Gloss Trio* (£5.99), this gift set contains three lip glosses perfect for either splitting up as smaller gifts to be shared between friends or it would make a great stocking filler gift for anyone younger and new to makeup. With the sets theres a Fairy Godmother Gloss, Alice in Wonderland Gloss and a Marry Poppins gloss and all have different fragrances, theres strawberries & cream which is so nice, perfect peach, and my favourite out of them all cheeky cherry, yummy!
If you have a friend who's a nail polish lover then Mad Beauty's Jingle Nails Set* (£3.99) could just be for them, personally I love this set for myself because I'm a sucker for any sparkly/glittery nail polish and this set comes complete with a glittery pink, red and purple and theres even a top coat to complete your manicure.
If your looking for more of a novelty gift this Christmas then this Mad Beauty Santa Baby Hand Wash* (£7.99) will tick all the boxes. I mean I just adore the packaging of this, it literally has Santa's little legs stuck down a chimney, hahaha! Within the quirky packaging lives the Santa Baby Hand Wash, it has a super wintry scent of spiced apple which is so so nice and the bottle itself is really big too (250ml) so it will definitely last a long time.
Lastly but in no means least is the MAD Beauty Bling Thing Makeup Brush Case and Brushes* (£14.99). This set includes 5 make brushes total, theres a powder brush, blush brush, a flat eyeshadow brush, a lip brush and finally an angled liner/brow brush all of which come complete in a rhinestone encrusted velvet effect case. Now I'm a huge makeup brush lover, I even collect them, so I couldn't wait to give these a whirl and I have to say these are probably some of the softest brushes I own which is really saying something, I honestly couldn't believe how soft and fluffy they are, and they all work brilliantly during blending and application.

Have you bought any Christmas prezzies from Mad Beauty beaut's? Which ones did you go for? I'd love to know.

Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm a HUGE Soap and Glory fan and every year when their Christmas collection launches in Boot's I can not wait to go in and see it all and this year's offerings certainly don't disappoint! I do have a couple of reviews on this years Soap and Glory gifts here and here but a few weeks ago I was actually lucky enough to win a twitter giveaway, and won the Get Into The Smooth Gift Set so I thought I'd give that a cheeky review too.

Within the Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set (£7.50) you get three of  Soap & Glory's best selling body buttercreams - Smoothie Star, Sugar Crush and The Righteous Butter all of which are in the 50ml size, perfect for travelling or popping into your handbag for any on the go moisturising. All of these body buttercreams have always been favourites of mine because they are luxuriously thick and creamy, so moisturising and nourishing especially if you have drier skin, which is why these are great for me because I'm a drier skinned gal and the scents are divine too and they really linger on the skin.
My personal favourite scent is Sugar Crush, this one is sugary sweet and packs a powerful lime punch, its also loaded with Shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, a super refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract so as you can imagine it's a zesty one. The Righteous Butter is more girlie and has the original pink scent of sugar rose and bergamot which is lush, it has a very dry skin formula containing softening Shea butter and aloe Vera and again is perfect for the driest of skins. Finally, Smoothie Star is an almond and sweet vanilla scented body buttercream that has a lightly whipped formula and is loaded with as many moisturisers as Soap & Glory could physically pack in, it features pistachio oil, almond oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil, wowza that a lot of moisturisation there he he.
Overall I think this set is awesome and it would be the perfect gift under the tree or as a stocking filler for anyone who's either a huge Soap & Glory fan or if their new too Soap & Glory this set is a great way of being able to test out three products at once.

Will you be buying this extremely moisturising set for anyone this Christmas? I'd love to know beaut's!

Kat Von D 'Shade And Light' Eye Shadow Palette Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who got super excited back in September when Kat Von D's makeup finally touched down in the UK at Debenhams, and the other day when I was scrolling through the Love the Sales website - a website that hosts every sale item from 100’s of retailers and 1000’s of brands altogether in one place, I couldn't believe it when I saw some Kat Von D makeup reduced with a few pounds off, I believe this was because Debenhams had an offer across their website at the time. If you havent checked out the Love the Sales website before then I'd highly recommend you have a nosey, I use it all the time because it makes sale shopping so easy and theres literally something for everyone on there from beauty, fashion, electronics, home, garden, sports, gifts or anything else that takes your fancy, it's been such a helping hand for my Christmas shopping I tell ya, anywhoo onto the Kat Von D Shade And Light Eye Shadow Palette he he.
The Kat Von D Shade And Light Eye Shadow Palette* is loaded with twelve all matte eye shadows especially-designed for eye contouring. The twelve eye shadows within the palette are arranged in three quads which I think is such a nifty little design, you get a neutral, cool, and warm quad which you can either use all four together or you can mix and match all the shades until your heart desires which is what I always doThe formula of each of the eye shadows within the Shade And Light palette is amazing, being quite new to Kat Von D makeup I really didn't know what to expect but wow, each eyeshadow is well pigmented, silky soft to swatch without any powdery residue or fall out, blends unbelievably well and lasts all day on my oily eyelids. I think the colour combinations work so well together too and you can easily go from day to night with this palette. I also like to use the larger 'base' eye shadows on my face too-to really get the most out of this palette, the neutral quad contains a large yellow-y beige shade great for using as a make shift banana powder, the cool quad contains a large taupe shade perfect for contouring and the warm quad contains a large dusty peach shade perfect for a soft blush look, pretty cool hey.
Packaging wise... I love it! It has a dark grungy look about it and the palette itself actually feels quite heavy and substantial in my hand, so I know it's going to last well. Theres also a large mirror inside the lid which is always appreciated and size of the eye shadows are big too, much bigger than the segments that you get in an urban decay palette for instance so you definitely get your moneys worth here.

Overall I absolutely love this Kat Von D Shade And Light Eye Shadow Palette and am so happy I saw it on the Love the Sales website. I've actually got my eye on a few things from their Perfume Sale at the moment which would make great Christmas prezzies, and if your looking for the best deals over Black Friday and Cyber Monday then definitely check out Love the Sales as they will be sharing ALL the bargains in one place, yay!

Have you got the Kat Von D 'Shade And Light' Eye Shadow Palette beaut's? What do you think? I'd love to know!

Lush Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar Review

Hey beaut's!

When I heard Lush where bringing back the Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar this Christmas I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! I had one quite a few years ago when it was released before, I think it was maybe in 2013 or 2014 I cant quite remember but what I do remember is that used to be in the shape of a red slab so I was keen to see how the remake and new look fared!

As I said before the Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar (£3.95) now has a new look, instead of being a red slab like before it's now the cutest red slipper shape and covered in red glitters too, it looks so Christmassy, I love it! When I crumbled Ruby Red Slippers into my bath it created lots of fluffy bubbles and turned my water a festive red shade, I did break my bubble bar into two though to get two baths out of it so I imagine if I would of used the whole bubble bar the red colouring would of been slightly more deeper, the red glitter that covers the outside of the bubble bar isn't actually within it so you don't come out the bath looking like a disco ball however I did see some of it glistening in the water but it never transferred onto my skin. The scent of Ruby Red Slippers is gorgeous, it contains carnation absolute, rose absolute and tangerine oil which make it quite a floral scented bath but theres definitely a dash of spice within it too, I kept getting hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, it was actually super festive despite being quite floral.
Overall I'm so happy I picked up this bubble bar, it was pretty to look at in and out of the bath, the scent was floral yet spicy which made it so festive and it was such a relaxing bubble bath too, afterwards I felt to calm and sleepy so it'd definitely say this is one to use in the evening before bed. I'll definitely be buying a few more of these cute little slippers before Christmas is up that's for sure, I really enjoyed this one!

Have you tried the Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar yet this year beaut's? I'd love to know!

Soap & Glory Merry Kiss Much Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm a HUGE Soap and Glory fan and even more so over the festivities and this years Christmas gifts certainly don't disappoint! I'm always on the look out for their makeup gifts, as much as I adore their bath and body gifts I am a makeup addict so when I saw how cute their Merry Kiss Much Gift Set looked I couldn't wait to give it a whirl.
The Soap and Glory Merry Kiss Much Gift Set* contains three Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick 3D Volume Lip Shines in the shades Nudis - a sheer natural pink/beige shade, Pink-A-Boo - a sheer rosy pink and Purple Rain - a rich plum shade, all of which would be perfect for the party season and because they are cute little chubby stick's they'd fit into any clutch bag with ease. Each Gloss Stick has a gorgeous vanilla scented formula that glides on beautifully leaving behind a creamy, moisturising pop of colour and shine without that dreaded sticky feeling, the gloss sticks also contain a 3D Volume-Amp Technology which promises to volumise the lips without the horrible tingly feeling yay!
The lasting power of these gloss sticks is actually very good and they leave my lips feeling moisturised for hours after application, these are great for winter time wear when your lips might be dry but you still want your pout to look gorgeous, as these little sticks give you that dose of moisture your lips need at this time of year as well as a pop of sheer colour and a glossy shine!
(From Top to Bottom - Nudis, Pink-a-Boo and Purple Rain)
Overall I think this set is awesome and it would be the perfect gift under the tree or as a stocking filler for any beauty lover that's really into their lip products, each shade within this set is super wearable all year round and if your looking for three moisturising lip products that add a sheer pop of colour this would make the perfect treat yourself' present too he he.

Will you be buying this cute set for anyone this Christmas? I'd love to know beaut's!

New in this Christmas at Jewellerybox.co.uk

Hey beaut's!

It's the most wonderful time of the year - yayyyy,  and today I have the cutest Christmas themed pieces of Jewellery to share with you all from the brand Jewellerybox.co.uk. Jewellerybox is an online jewellery retailer where you can buy real jewellery at costume jewellery prices, I mean whats not to love.
Recently the Jewellerybox website has added their Christmas collection and my goodness it's adorable, theres everything from bracelets, earrings and necklaces in either rose gold, gold or silver so theres certainly something to suit and please everyone.
The first of the two pieces I have is the Fine Sterling Silver Christmas Tree Bracelet* (£6.95), this is so cute and delicate and just adds such a festive touch but in a soft way. Like I said before the bracelet itself is sterling silver and has a 7 inch chain and comes complete with a lobster clasp attachment to keep it secure. I've been completely obsessed with this bracelet and have been wearing it everyday since I got it, it just fits me perfectly and I think it looks so sweet when it's on. The second piece I have is the 18ct Rose Gold Dipped Sterling Silver Snowflake Necklace* (£6.15), this is absolutely stunning and again super delicate and cute, it's a pendant style necklace with an 18 inch chain and is 18ct dipped sterling silver. Again I've been wearing this non stop since I got it, and I've had so many compliments on it too, lots of people seem to be loving the rose gold snowflake he he, I mean anything and everything rose gold is huge at the moment and I could literally buy everything rose gold on the Jewellerybox website because it's all so stunning!
Finally can we all just appreciate how frickin' adorable the packaging is, I mean it's honestly as nice as the jewellery itself isn't it. Each piece of jewellery comes inside a shabby chic style brown cardboard box with the jewellery securely tucked away inside with the cutest mini pegs keeping each piece safe, then the entire box is wrapped in brown paper with string and a little tag just like a present. It looks gorgeously presented and would certainly impress over the festive season because it has that 'brown paper packages tied up with string' vibe which I adore.

Overall if your looking for some cute, festive pieces of jewellery this Christmas I'd highly recommend having a look on the Jewellerybox website because they have the most gorgeous pieces, or if your looking for a smaller gift, stocking filler or secret present these pieces would go down an absolute treat I'm sure.

Tangle Teezer 'Star Bright' Compact Styler Review

Hey beaut's!

Any of you with medium to long, thick hair just like mine will all know that brushing your hair sometimes can be such a chore, my hair tangles quite a lot underneath and when I curl or wave it - it can take me a good while to brush things through so that's when I decided to try my very first Tangle Teezer, I bought the classic one to begin with and loved it and then went on to get the Aqua Splash version for wet hair and again loved it, so when I saw that there was Compact Stylers now available I couldn't wait to give one of those a whirl as well.
I have the Limited Edition Compact Styler by Tangle Teezer* in the Star Bright design which is so cute for Christmas because it has different sized silver stars all over it which makes it look super glitzy and festive, I love it! The Compact Styler is a handbag-friendly design which makes things a whole lot easier for us when we are on the go, it's slightly smaller in size than the classic Tangle Teezer which I actually prefer because I have smaller hands so it makes it easier for me to hold and grip. The Compact Styler then comes complete with a clip on cover to protect it whilst your on your travels, for me this great because I always end up bending my hairbrush bristles in my bag, not to mention the amount of odd bits of fluff and chewing gum that usually gets wedged between the bristles, but this handy little cover stops all that from happening.
The brush bristles within the compact styler are great, this is thanks to its unique two-tiered system technology, theres long teeth to de-tangle and short teeth to smooth the hair cuticle for healthier-looking, glossy hair. It’s also great for back-brushing to add volume and easily brushes out.

Overall I absolutely love this little Compact Styler and couldn't be without in my handbag now, it gets those horrible knots and tangles out with ease, smooths my hair out, adds volume on the go when I need it because I can use it to backcomb with and it's just a general essential for me now. I also think this would make the perfect stocking filler gift for any beauty/cosmetics lover, and if the star design doesn't float your boat the Tangle Teezer also have about 17 other designs to choose from, how amazing is that!

The Limited Edition Compact Styler by Tangle Teezer in the Star Bright design retails for £12.50 and is available HERE.
