Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Beauty blenders and complexion spongers are more popular now than ever and I must admit I've always been a fan, the promise of naturally flawless skin after using a beauty sponge to apply your makeup always lures me in and I've tried so many over last few years. The latest beauty sponge that's been added to my collection is the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge*, I was super excited to try this particular sponge because I'm a huge Nanshy Makeup Brush fan so I expected very good things from this little beauty and that's exactly what I got.
The Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge (£5.95) is a multi purpose makeup sponge that can be used with liquid, cream and powder makeup and is latex free, non-allergenic and odour free. The sponge along with your chose product is said to work together to brighten your complexion, create build-able airbrush-like coverage, hide imperfections and achieve the smoothest finish imaginable, ohhhhh

To use the sponge all you have to do is either run or submerge it under water making sure you squeeze out any excess water, you only want the sponge to be damp not soaking wet, you can also use a water spray bottle or some sort of fixing/primer spray the choice is yours. Once the sponge is damp is remains super soft and lightweight and well... spongy! The sponge is made up of a micro-pore formulation, that allows the sponge to remain damp throughout the application, and stops the sponge picking up too much product and wasting it.
What separates Nanshy's offering from your average beauty sponge it that it has a 4 in 1 ability, you can really tell a lot of effort and hard work has gone into the development of this little sponge. The first way you can you use the Nanshy Marvel Sponge is with the pointed tip, this is ideal for using with your concealer to cover any imperfections, and perfect for blending in the inner corners of the eyes and any other smaller harder to reach areas. The second way the sponge can be used is with it's flat edge, the 45 degree-angle is perfect for any wide-flat stippling with foundation or concealer and is great for working/blending product on contours around the eyes and nose, another way to use the flat edge is to apply cream/powder blush and setting powder. The third way to use the sponge is by using it on it's side where you can either roll on or press of your foundation or setting powder. The last feature is the rounded bottom, this makes blending in large areas a lot easier. The final result is that your makeup honestly looks very lightweight, flawless, even and totally on point, I'm in absolute love with this sponge which really speaks volumes considering how much I love to use my makeup brushes.
My biggest tip on washing and keeping your Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge squeaky clean is actually by popping it the washing machine, I've been doing this with all my beauty/makeup sponges for years and its the only way that they actually look brand new again. I would suggest not putting it in the wash with anything that has zips or decorative bit's on as you don't want to rip or snag the sponge, I just throw mine in with my towels or bedding and it works an absolute treat.

Have you tried the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge?? What did you think?? I'd love to know beaut's.

  2. I'm not a fan of makeup sponges as I don't feel like they give me enough coverage, but this one looks great as it has the many different angles for different purposes x
