Hi beaut's...

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your abit of a foodie like myself  and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!

Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my November Degustabox...

Lindor My Melting Moment x5 £0.65p each
I absolutely love these little beauties so I was super happy to see not one but five in my box this month he he. If your yet to try these then you must run to the shops now and grab some as they taste delicious, the snowflake shaped chocolate is filled with irresistibly smooth melting Lindor milk chocolate and is simply divine, they make great little Christmas stocking fillers too.

Kettle Chips Salsa & Mesquite £2.19
Mmmm I love Kettle Chips, they're great for when your having a movie night and you want a snack to just throw in a bowl to munch on. The two flavours actually up for grabs in our Degustabox are Salsa & Mesquite and Stilton & Port, both of which Kettle Chips have reintroduced as limited edition flavours this Christmas. Apparently Salsa & Mesquite was one of the original flavours when the brand first launched in 1988, oohhhh!

Cool Down Recovery x2 £1.49 each
These little cans of drink really intrigued me and at first glance I thought they where just your average energy drinks but no... They are actually a herbal detox drink that claim to help prevent and cure hangovers, now that some claim inst it! These will definitely come in handy over the festive season, I cant wait to actually see if they work he he.

Kent's Kitchen Fajita Flavour Shots £1.85
I love Fajitas so I know I'll use up these 4 flavour shots by Kent's Kitchen quickly. The gel like shots coat your diced meat or prawns evenly and add a delicious taste to enhance your meals, mmm yum!

Branston Caramelised Onion Chutney £1.50
He he I can tell Degustabox where feeling festive this month since there's an appearance of a chutney... This Caramelised Onion Chutney works well with cheese and breads and will work well if your having a big boxing day feast which is what my family do, arhhh its cold meats, left overs, pickles and chutneys galore ha ha.

Pip Organic Cloudy Apple Juice x2 £1.50 each
Pip Organic is actually a family run, London based business that produces an award winning range of pure organic juices and smoothies. I really cant wait to try these Cloudy Apple juices as they sound so refreshing and I love the fact that they are 100% organic, they literally contain no sugars, no water, no preservatives and no additives.

Holy Cow Curry Sauces x2 £1.69 each
How Cow are a brand that make authentic Indian curry sauces which are made from all natural ingredients, I love a good curry and make them all the time as they are so simple and quick to make so I cant wait to give these sauces a go and see if they make my curry's even tastier.

Montano Cider £2.79
This months alcholic option is a crafted Italian cider 'Montano' which made using only apples that have been grown on the foothills of the Trentino region of Northern Italy. It's said to be medium-dry, crisp & refreshing Cider and again will be perfect for the festive season.

SAMPLE PRESENT Drink Me Chai
This month's sample product is a Chai Latte from Drink Me Chai. I love a nice brew so I cant wait to give this little sample a go.

Overall I love everything in my Degustabox All in all I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop REJS4 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a £3.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!

What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.

Fragrance Christmas Gift Guide For Him & Her!

Hi beaut's!

It just wouldn't be Christmas if you didn't buy a fragrance for someone would it... So today I have put together a mini review of a few ladies and men's fragrances that may help you decide on what scent to pick up for your loved ones this year....

I'm kicking things of with a couple of fragrances perfect for the lady/ladies in your life..

Hugo Boss MA VIE* 50ml RRP £49.00

Hugo Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme is the latest addition in the female Boss family and follows Boss Nuit and Boss Jour which both smell gorgeous. At first glance the packaging of this fragrance is beautiful, it comes in a delicate soft pink, glass bottle and has a gorgeous crystal effect lid which I think really sets it off. The concept behind the Ma Vie fragrance is the off-duty Boss woman, so expect sophistication and plenty of depth with this scent. It's quite a grown up scent and the delicate pink blossoms give it that floral/pretty edge and then the more woody notes come through giving the scent some bite and depth. Overall it smells rather lovely, it looks gorgeous and very luxurious and I think would make the perfect Christmas prezzie for your Mum!

Top Notes – Modernity: Cactus Blossom
Heart Notes– Femininity: Pink freesia, jasmine petals, rose bud
Base Notes– Confidence: Sheer woods, cedar wood

Lacoste Touch Of Pink* 50ml RRP £42.00

Lacoste Touch of Pink is very much a classic for the younger girlie's and has been around for years but never gets old. The scent itself is light, very sweet with a touch of vanilla to it. It's girly, youthful and feminine without being overpowering or nauseatingly sweet which is a major plus as nobody wants one of those perfumes that really gets down your throat do they! Overall I think this would be an absolute hit at Christmas for any younger beauties and the bottle really reflects the youthful scent too.

Top Notes - Coriander Leaves, Blood oranges and Cardamon
Middle Notes - Jasmine, Violet Leaves and Carot Seed
Base Notes - Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk.

And for the man/men in your life....

Lacoste L!VE* 100ml RRP £47.00

Lacoste L!VE is Lacoste's most recent launch for men, the cube style bottle holds a rather clean, crisp scent that I think would definitely appeal more to the younger guys. When you first spritz Lacoste L!VE its quite strong and really gives you a hit fragrance but then it drys down lovely and has amazing staying power.

Top NotesLime and Green Leaves
Middle NotesAquatic notes
Base Notes -Guaiac Wood, Dark liquorice

Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc* 100ml RRP £47.00

Like all the Lacoste L.12.12 fragrances, Blanc is inspired by the Lacoste iconic polo shirt, this range acts as a tribute to the founder Rene Lacoste himself, its said that if you team the coloured fragrance with the same coloured polo shirt it will make the most out of the fragrance and intensify it, which I think is a rather cool/quirky fact!!! I can only describe Lacoste Blanc as being a very clean, fresh, sweet fragrance and perfect for the younger generation, to me this is not a mature scent at all. After testing Blanc out on my boyfriend, its clear to see or should I say smell (he he) that Blanc is very long lasting and lingers all day without being strong or overpowering at all. The packaging of Blanc is very simple and comes in a white glass bottle that is completely opaque and has Lacoste's trademark embroidery crocodile on the front of the bottle which I think is a really nice touch, it would certainly sit nicely on any mans bedside table.

Top Notes - Grapefruit, Cardamom, Rosemary, Cedar Leaves.
Heart Notes - Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang.
Base Notes - Leather Notes, Cedar.

Hugo Boss 'BOSS' Collector's Edition* 50ml RRP £41.00
Next I have the classic award winning fragrance for men, BOSS Bottled 'The Collector's Edition'. The Collectors Edition of BOSS Bottled has been made exclusively for Christmas, it features the same best selling scent as the original but sports that new and exclusive gunmetal grey bottle, which I think looks so much nicer and more luxurious that the usual clear glass bottle. As for the scent itself...When I first sprayed BOSS I immediately got a rather fruity scent however.. that soon develops into a warm woody sensual scent as BOSS dulls down and drys. It's also a very versatile scent, meaning I think it will suit all ages wearing it anytime and anywhere, which I think is great as your not restricted when it comes to buying it for your Dad, brother etc. The lasting power of BOSS is also incredible, it will last on you all day and you'll probably get a cheeky whiff the next morning too, it really wont budge.

Top notes - Apple, Bergamot and Cinnamon.
Heart notes - Tagete and Geranium.
Base notes - Cedarwood, Sandlewood, Vetiver and Olivewood.

James Bond 007* 75ml RRP £25.00
And lastly I have the James Bond 007 eau de toilette, this will go down well with any James Bond  lover I'm sure. The aftershave itself has a very sophisticated yet spicy scent to it, so if the man in your life likes a nice woody, spicy scent this could be the one for him. The packaging of the James Bond aftershave is also rather unique, the bottle itself is black with a textured finish and is completed with a twist up lid and the trademark 007 Bond logo embossed on the front .

Top notesApples
Heart notes - Cardamom
Base notes -Sandalwood, Vetiver, Lavender, Coumarin, Moss

I hope you enjoyed my fragrance Christmas gift guide for him and her and I hope it's given you a few idea's on what to get the loved ones in your life, you really cant go wrong with an aftershave or perfume can you!!!

Retro Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Lip Balm | Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a very exciting review/potential stocking filler idea for you all in the shape of a Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Lip Balm*... Now breakfast and beauty don't usually collide but they have now and I'm drooling over it, I mean this kitch collaboration between Kellogg's and MAD Beauty is just genius isn't it.
The lip balm itself  looks amazing and sports that vintage 70's look complete with Tony the tiger himself on the front he he. The scent and taste of the Frosted Flakes lip balm is incredible, it does indeed smell just like the cereal, sugary, sweet with a hint of vanilla in there too. It's certainly a joy to pop on yours lips throughout the day and you can even smell it after you've applied it, it's greeaaatttt! (Sorry I just couldn't resist that)
The quality of the lip balm is really very good, sometimes you can find that the idea of a product that looks amazing in the packaging can out way the actual quality of the product itself but this lip balm certainly works well. It moisturises and nourishes my lips leaving them silky smooth and it makes a lovely base for lipsticks to go over too.
Overall I absolutely love this little beauty and not only does it look incredible it works well too and has become a handbag essential for me. The Kellogg's lips balms also come in the Coco Pops edition and Rice Krispies edition too, I mean just how amazing would these be as little stocking fillers, and they are so affordable too at just £2.99 a pop.

You can find the Frosted Flakes Lip Balm on the Flamingo Gifts website along with the rest of the Kellogg's retro range, there's even makeup bags and compact mirrors to match which would make cool Christmas gift sets.

What do you think of the Kellogg's Retro range beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Festive Reds | Christmas Gift Guide

Festive Reds | Christmas Gift Guide
Hey beaut's!!!

Since there are only 31 sleeps until Christmas, eeeeekkk yup, that's right just 31 sleeps... I thought I'd do another Christmas gift guide with a girlie festive red theme, I actually done one of these last year and really enjoyed doing it so I thought I'd do another he he. I've gone for a mixture of cute bits you can pop in for stocking fillers and then some bigger bits for under the tree. I hope you enjoy!!!
Marc Jacobs 'Dot' Perfume
Marc Jacobs perfumes always make great gifts, not only do his perfumes smell incredible but the packaging of all Marc Jacobs perfumes are cute and look that extra bit special.

Lush Santa's Lip Scrub £5.50
Everyone loves abit of Lush for Christmas don't they... And I think this Santa Lip Scrub would be an amazing stocking filler, it's cola flavoured and can be licked off once you've polished your lips, yum!

Christmas Jumper from Boohoo £15.00
I just couldn't do a Christmas gift guide without a classic Christmas jumper, it just had to be done. There are loads to choose from at the moment in all different retailers but I chose this cute reindeer and snowflake one from boohoo because I think you could get away with wearing it after Christmas for a short while too.

Tanya Burr 'Enchanted Forest' Lip Gloss £6.99
The lovely Tanya Burr has some brand NEW releases for all of us just in time for Christmas and one of the new gloss shades caught my eye straight away. Enchanted Forest looks like the most beautiful dark berry red shade which would be perfect for the festive season and I think it would make the perfect stocking filler.

Red Cheque Pyjama Top and Shorts £7.99 each
This pyjama set from New Look is absolutely gorgeous! Tartan is really in this year and I just love the dark shade of this particular tartan print on this cute little set. I think pyjama's are an absolute winner when it comes to Christmas prezzies and if your not to keen
on the little shorts then New Look actually do the same print in long bottoms too, so its quite nice that you can mix and match.

Heart And Stripe Slipper Socks £3.99
Everyone loves some cute snugly socks for Christmas and these fluffy heart/striped ones from New Look are just so cute.

Yankee Candle 'Holiday Magic' £13.00
It wouldn't be a haysparkle gift guide without the appearance of a festive candle, as you may know from my Instagram I'm a candle addict he he. I chose Yankee Candle's 'Holiday Magic' as it just sounds so Christmasy and I can only imagine it smells simply incredible.

Iris & Edie Red Slipper Boots £18.00
Slippers are an absolute essential for this time of year and something everyone loves, nobody likes cold tootsies do they! I think these little bootie style slippers from Debenhams are lovely and perfect to use after Christmas too as they aren't overly festive looking.

Red Fair Isle Hot Water Bottle and Socks Set £12.00
A hot water bottle is something nice to give to someone who really loves their snugly duvet days or if your anything like me, I like to pop it in the bed to make the inside of my bed nice and warm before I get in it ha ha. This set from Debenhams actually comes with matching fluffy socks which I think is a really nice touch.

Models Own Diamond Luxe Heart Red £4.99
And lastly.. Another prefect stocking filler for any beauty lover is a pretty nail polish and my goodness this Models Own Diamond Luxe nail polish is a goodun! The nail polish itself is infused with real diamond dust which is just flipping amazing and theres 10 shades to choose from in the collection so theres a shade to suit all!

I hope you enjoyed another Christmas gift guide from me beaut's and I hope it's given you a few idea's on what to get the ladies in your life, whether it be for your family or friends.

Makeup Revolution New Arrivals!

Hey beaut's!

It's fair to say that Makeup Revolution are on 'new release' fire this month, can you believe that they have launched over 80 new products so far during November and I have a feeling that they have plenty more new releases up their sleeves for us coming up in the future he he. Anyway... Today I thought I'd do a post sharing my first impressions of some of the new makeup with you all, I will be doing full reviews on each makeup item in this post in the coming weeks once I've had time to road test them all properly....

Iconic 'Dreams' Eyeshadow Palette* £4.00

The Makeup Revolution Iconic Eyeshadow Palettes are extremely popular and the palettes I already own I absolutely love and use often so I was super excited when I saw that there was another new one to collect he he. The Iconic 'Dreams' Palette contains 12 super pigmented eye shadows in beautiful green, bronze and golden shades that come in a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter finishes. The shades and finishes are so wearable for daytime and evenings out and the golden hues are great for the up and coming festive season. As always the quality of the eye shadows are amazing, they are buttery soft, blend out beautifully and last very well!

Blush Palette in Golden Sugar* £6.00

How beautiful is this... It's honestly going to make you look like a glamorous, golden, glowing goddess ha ha. The 'Golden Sugar' Blush & Contour Palette is Makeup Revolutions third instalment into their Blush & Contour Palette world he he and my goodness its a beauty, it contains 8 large panned, well pigmented shades all together, 6 of which are merged baked shades that I would personally use/recommend as highlight shades and they come in a mixture of pearl, pink and golden finishes. The final 2 shades are definitely bronzer shades, one of which is fully matte which you could use to bronze or to contour with and the other has more of a soft metallic finish too it.

Viper Mascara in Black* £3.00

I'm an absolute mascara addict so I'm super excited to see what Makeup Revolutions Viper Mascara is like. It claims to give you volume and lift which is exactly what I look for in a mascara and can we all just take a minute to look at that brush, the shape is so unusual. Look out for a full review coming soon beaut's!

The One Fluid Blush in Desire* and Pink Dew* £3.00 each

I was so excited about the release of these beauties, they have been quickly named as Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush dupes but having never tried or owned one I'm not going to be able to tell you whether these are a dupe or not, however there is definitely potential! The One Fluid Blushers are available in 5 different shades and just for reference, the names of these blushers do correspond to the One Blush Sticks that where also released not to long ago. I've actually been giving these a go already and the quality of both of the Fluid Blushers is actually very good, they feel so weightless on the skin and are waterproof and budge proof so once they've set, they've set! The finish of the two blush shades I have is quite dewy and very illuminating, they do contain slight shimmers but aren't to over the top which I really like as they give you a nice healthy glow.

Aqua Brow in Medium £3.00
This is very intriguing stuff but sadly the medium shade is slightly to dark for my ashy brows, but fear not there are 3 other shades to choose from in the Aqua Brow collection woohoo! The Aqua Brow has a smudge-proof, creamy formula, that fills, defines and lengthens your brows to ultra perfection, which I've got to admit sounds flipping fab! To apply the Aqua Brow to your brows I would suggest popping a small amount on the back of your hand and then use an eyebrow brush to fill in as normal and the voila... You'll have gorgeous looking brows all day.

Ultra All Day Prime & Anti Shine Balm £5.00

This little beauty Makeup Revolution are naming our new handbag hero, ohhhh.... I have to admit this Ultra All Day Prime & Anti Shine Balm does look and feel like a very odd product, it's a soft yet light weight balm that claims to prime the skin all day and keep shine at bay. You can either use the balm under foundation or in place of a pressed powder to set your makeup. After giving this a go under my foundation (curiosity got the better of me very quickly) it certainly did matte out my skin quickly but the fact I have dry patches means it doesn't work that great for me however if you have oily skin I'd suggest giving this a go. I'm not sure how I'd feel about using this in place of a pressed powder as I can only imagine the balm would really move around my makeup and even remove it slightly... With all that aside it is a very intriguing product that I know alot of you beauties would want to try he he.

And there you have it beaut's, just a little snippet of a few of Makeup Revolution new releases, the Iconic Dreams Eyeshadow Palette and the Golden Sugar Blush & Contour Palette are my favourites so far, it's crazy to think that we can pick these up on the high street for budget prices, it just goes to show that you can get gorgeous, on trend makeup on a budget!

You can find the Makeup Revolution new releases as well as much more affordable makeup on their website HERE or you can find them on the Superdrug website too.

What new releases have you got your eye on beaut's? I'd love to know.
